The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (5)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – July 15, 2025 (Part Three)

Some people become negative and weak when they encounter difficulties, and they even stop doing their duty and withdraw. Do such people pursue the truth? (No.) Those who do not pursue the truth are revealed by the situations, people, events, and things that God sets up. For example, in mainland China, many people acknowledge that what Almighty God expresses is the truth and that this is the true way, but they dare not believe. They are afraid of being oppressed or arrested by the CCP, and they are afraid of losing their lives. To save their own skins, they dare not accept the true way. Are they not revealed by this persecution from the great red dragon? (They are.) Cowards and those who do not love the truth cannot sacrifice themselves for the truth. Can such people still attain salvation? (No.) The religious world and worldly trends all judge and condemn God’s church. When some people see this, they begin to doubt the true way. They believe that anything condemned by the religious world and worldly trends cannot be the true way. Is this view right? (No, it isn’t.) They cannot see through to the essence or truth of the religious world’s resistance to God, nor to the wicked truth of these worldly trends. They can’t see through to any of this, which means they are blind. Some people have believed in the Lord in the religious world for twenty or thirty years, and some for almost their entire lives, yet they do not know God’s work. In the last days, Almighty God has expressed so many truths to save mankind, but they simply cannot see it. Isn’t this being utterly blind? Most people in the religious world are blind, and even the pastors and leaders of the religious world are blind. The entire religious world is just the blind leading the blind, and in the end, they all fall into the pit. What does this pit refer to? It refers to the bottomless pit—going to hell. Although some people have accepted Almighty God, they are incapable of discernment when they hear negative propaganda. They don’t know which is right and which is wrong, which is correct and which is absurd—God’s words or the negative propaganda. Tell me, does this kind of person have any caliber? (No.) Since such a person has found the true way, they are not completely blind, but if they are incapable of discernment, then they are muddleheaded. Can a muddleheaded person attain salvation? (No.) Muddleheaded people have very poor caliber. They cannot comprehend or understand the truth, so they cannot attain salvation. There are people in the church who cannot communicate or converse with others normally. When they talk with people, they always go off-topic and give irrelevant answers. Are people like this of poor caliber? (Yes.) Can they understand the truth? (No.) The truth is beyond their grasp. Why do I say the truth is beyond their grasp? Can such a person understand God’s words when they read them? (No.) So how can it be proven that they cannot understand God’s words? (When they talk with people, they are always answering irrelevantly, which shows they lack the logical thinking of a normal person.) They are always giving irrelevant answers because they don’t understand what others are saying. Their understanding is always deviated, and so they’re always giving irrelevant answers. So, do people who give irrelevant answers think like normal people? (No.) Is there any logic in what they say? (No.) Then can such a person understand God’s words? (No.) They cannot understand God’s words, and they can’t even understand what I mean when I speak. They don’t understand the purpose of my fellowship or the results I want to achieve. It is very difficult for such a person to attain salvation. Why is it said that it’s very difficult for such a person to attain salvation? (They lack a human spirit, so they can’t understand God’s words, and they cannot reach or understand the truth.) God’s words are the truth, and the truth exposes and dissects people’s corrupt dispositions and nature essence. Only the truth can resolve people’s corrupt dispositions. Since they cannot reach the truth, they cannot resolve their corrupt dispositions, right? (Right.) If people cannot reach God’s words, can they know themselves? They cannot.

Let me tell you, knowing yourself is crucial. Discerning antichrists comes down to seeing whether they know themselves. If you see a leader or a worker who has no knowledge whatsoever of their own actions or corrupt disposition, and they never even talk about knowing themselves, never dissect their own erroneous views, or fellowship on how they resolve their corrupt disposition, and you can never see that they have any knowledge of themselves—tell me, are they not an antichrist? (They are.) This is the primary basis for discerning an antichrist: First, see whether they know themselves. If a person never talks about knowing themselves, can they achieve true knowledge of themselves? (No.) Is there anyone who never reflects on or knows their own corrupt disposition or their nature essence of resisting God, and never dissects their own erroneous thoughts and views, but who, in private, has truly come to know themselves and has truly resolved their corrupt disposition? Does this ever happen? (No.) Therefore, if you discover someone who absolutely doesn’t know themselves, then this is the most compelling evidence that they are an antichrist. Remember this: Not knowing oneself is the first characteristic of an antichrist. So, what problems does it show when a person doesn’t know themselves? If you can’t see this issue clearly, you won’t be able to discern people. Tell me, does a person who doesn’t know themselves truly understand the truth? (No.) The truth is a double-edged sword! What is meant by this? While on the one hand, the truth dissects Satan, on the other, it reveals what God has and is. This is what is meant by a double-edged sword here. What is the first result achieved when a person understands the truth? (Knowing oneself.) First is knowing oneself, and then comes knowing God. This is because the truth itself is what God has and is. Every aspect of the truth is what God has and is, represents a part of God’s disposition, and is a revelation of God’s disposition. Can you be certain of this? (Yes.) Truth is possessed only by God. Truth is the essence of God’s life, a component of God’s life, and a revelation of God’s life. It is not possessed by any corrupt human being or any created being. Can you be certain of this? (Yes.) Then can Satan express the truth? (No.) Can corrupt mankind express the truth? (No.) Can renowned people in the religious world who have believed in God for many years express the truth? (No.) The truth is what God has and is, and it is also the essence of God’s life and a revelation of God’s life. Therefore, the truth represents God’s disposition and holy essence. The truth is holy, and no one besides God can express the truth. But people in the religious world cannot see through to what the essence of the truth is, and they do not know that only God possesses the truth. If they truly recognized that God is the source of the truth and that only God can express the truth, then if you were to ask them, “Who is this person who has expressed so many truths in the last days?” would they still dare to call this person just an ordinary human? They wouldn’t. If they were to say that, they’d be acting foolishly and they would be utterly blind. Can the truth be expressed by just anyone? (No.) God becoming flesh to express the truth is something no one can do in His place. Only the flesh that possesses God’s identity can express the truth. Without God’s identity, one cannot express the truth. And is God’s identity something just anyone can represent? Is it something just anyone can take His place in? Even those used by the Holy Spirit cannot represent God, much less take His place. It is impossible for anyone who wishes to represent God to express the truth. I didn’t see through to this before. I even had the extravagant desire to express the truth myself. Later, after experiencing God’s work, I saw through to this matter. That way of thinking was truly foolish! The truth is not something that can be expressed by just anyone who wants to. Only God’s incarnate flesh has God’s identity and essence, and only this flesh is worthy of expressing the truth. We corrupt human beings have corrupt dispositions and are unworthy of expressing the truth. At best, we are merely used by the Holy Spirit, and this is an exceptional exaltation from God! Otherwise, a corrupt human being, full of corrupt dispositions, cannot be fit for God’s use, nor are they worthy of being used by God. When God first began to use me, I thought to myself, “I have no knowledge, nor any special gifts or eloquence. Why would God use me?” All I can say is that God lifts the needy from the dung heap. Later, I came to realize that this, too, was predestined by God. When I believed in the Lord, the Holy Spirit did special work to train and prepare me. I also encountered numerous trials and was disciplined a lot. Later, after some of my corrupt disposition had been cast off and I was no longer as arrogant and self-righteous, and I had gained some submission, only then did God formally begin to use me. In truth, given the extent of human corruption, people are unworthy of being used by God. No matter how you look at it, this is an exceptional exaltation from God and man has nothing to boast about. But some people always have extravagant desires, and in their prayers they keep saying, “Oh God, may Your Spirit work in me! May You make me perfect!” Will God act according to their prayers? (No.) Why is that? Recently, God has fellowshipped quite a lot on this topic. You may have heard this fellowship. Who can tell us what God has fellowshipped? (In one respect, it’s because people are not standing in the position of created beings. Their prayers are all demands made of God, and they lack reason. God does not listen to such prayers. In another respect, it’s because people are unworthy. If God were to act according to their prayers, they would become arrogant and start vying with God for status. Therefore, people are not worthy to receive God’s grace.) That’s partially correct. In one way, people’s corrupt dispositions are truly serious. They can go against their conscience to do things that resist God, and go against their conscience to do things that violate moral standards. In the eyes of man, such people lack humanity, to say nothing of how God views them. The Holy Spirit does not work on people who lack humanity, because it would be futile. Without humanity, such people will not repent or change. Take Paul, for example. Did the Holy Spirit work on him? (The Holy Spirit only used him to render service in preaching the gospel. He did not do the work of making him perfect.) Correct. Since God sent Paul as an apostle to preach the gospel to the Gentiles, the Holy Spirit certainly would have worked on him and enlightened and guided him in preaching the gospel. If the Holy Spirit had not worked on him, could his preaching have been so effective? Could he have gained so many people? It is true that the Holy Spirit worked on him. Then, did the Holy Spirit work on Peter? (He did.) The Holy Spirit worked on Peter all the more. So how did the Holy Spirit work on Peter? Was it different from the work He did on Paul? (It was.) The work the Holy Spirit did on Peter was the work of trials and perfection, which was completely different from the work He did on Paul. There is a mystery in this. You see, are there not principles to God’s work on every type of person? (There are.) God’s work is principled. One of these principles is that in whatever area a person’s particular strengths can benefit the work of God’s house, God will work in and guide them in that area, allowing them to put their strengths to use. This is what is meant by using people according to their strengths, and it is a principle of the Holy Spirit’s work. There is another principle: God works in whatever area will enable people to fear God and shun evil. If the Holy Spirit’s work on someone, or His work in a certain area, would make them arrogant and conceited, and cause them to show off, put themselves on display, and exalt themselves, would the Holy Spirit still do that work? The Holy Spirit would not. Otherwise, after the Holy Spirit finished His work, that person would become even more arrogant and conceited, and resist God even more frenziedly. How could that ever be allowed to happen? Therefore, the Holy Spirit’s work on every single person is principled. It’s like when someone is drowning. If you go to save this drowning person, do you need wisdom and a proper method? (Yes.) What method must you grasp? You can’t go in front of the drowning person, because once they grab onto you, you won’t be able to use your strength to save them, and they could even drag you into the water, and you would lose your life. Wouldn’t that be a real mess? So, you must have wisdom and a method here. You have to get behind them to save them. That way, they can’t grab you, and you can pull them out of the water, right? (Right.) Similarly, the work of the Holy Spirit on people is the wisest and most principled.
