Fellowship From the Brother Above – July 15, 2025 (Part Five)

II. Questions Regarding Life Entry

Question 3: Recently, some brothers and sisters have been tending to become negative when they encounter difficulties in their duties. They feel they aren’t up to their duty and want to quit. I feel very anxious when I see this. I’ve tried to fellowship the truth with them to help them regain their confidence, but the results haven’t been good, and I’ve become negative and weak as a result. What should I do to help my brothers and sisters persevere in their duties?

Answer: If brothers and sisters tend to become negative when they encounter difficulties in their duty, just ask them this: “Do you want to enter the kingdom of heaven? If you want to enter the kingdom of heaven but feel you don’t measure up to the requirements and are unworthy, would you say, ‘I’m giving up on entering the kingdom of heaven’? No, you wouldn’t. You would fight tooth and nail to get into the kingdom of heaven. So why do you want to shrink back when you encounter just a little difficulty in your duty?” What problem is this? When we encounter difficulties in our duty, what are God’s intentions? God uses these difficulties to guide us into the truth reality. What does it mean to guide us into the truth reality? It means guiding us into the kingdom of heaven. If you cannot enter the truth reality now, you will not be able to enter the kingdom of heaven. Is this correct? (It is.) The kingdom of heaven is a kingdom of truth. If you do not possess the truth reality, are you worthy of entering the kingdom of heaven? (No.) So, what is the significance of us doing our duty now? Through doing our duty, we can enter the truth reality and, ultimately, the kingdom of heaven. That is the significance of us doing our duties. Does doing your duty require understanding the truth principles? (Yes.) When you can practice the truth and act according to principles in your duty, your performance of your duty becomes up to standard and achieves results. By doing your duty, you can enter the truth reality and become qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven. If you do not enter the truth reality while doing your duty, and in the end your performance of your duty is not up to standard, are you still qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven? (No.) So, what is the relationship between doing one’s duty and entering the kingdom of heaven? (If we do our duty in a way that is up to standard, we have a chance to enter the kingdom of heaven.) Why do we say that by doing our duty now, we are getting a foretaste of the reality of the kingdom of heaven? This is the training of the kingdom. If you succeed in this training, gain the truth and enter the truth reality, then you will have a share in the kingdom. But if you do not pursue the truth in your duty, cannot use the truth to solve problems, and in the end, you are not up to your duty and want to quit, what does this show? It means you are not qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven and that you have been eliminated. Some people believe in Almighty God and acknowledge that this is the true way, but they are unwilling to pursue the truth. They do not love the truth. They feel that believing in Almighty God is too difficult, and that it is easier to believe in the Lord Jesus, so they want to leave Almighty God and return to their old churches to believe in the Lord. What would you say is the nature of this problem? (It is betraying God.) You think it is easy to believe in the Lord Jesus, but if you only believe in the Lord Jesus and do not accept God’s judgment and chastisement of the last days, can you cast off your corrupt disposition? (No.) Can you break free of Satan’s influence? (No.) Can you achieve true submission to God? Can you follow God’s will? (No.) Then are you qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven? (No.) In the last days, God has done a new stage of work, and the Holy Spirit is no longer working in the Age of Grace. This shows that the previous stage of work is now outdated and obsolete. If you still cling to that stage of work, to the Bible, and to the name of the Lord Jesus, then you are doomed to be eliminated. Look at the religious world—why has it been condemned by God? Because the people of the religious world do not follow God. When God does His new work, not only do they not follow it, but instead they condemn and resist it. This is crucifying God again! The people of the religious world have therefore been condemned by God, and God says the assembly of these people is of religion, not of the church of God. What does this mean? It means the religious world has been eliminated by God and that it is no longer a place where the Holy Spirit works to save people. So, what is the outcome of religious people? It is to be destroyed, just like the nonbelievers! Do you understand? (Yes.) Some people have believed in Almighty God for a year or two, yet they still say, “Believing in Almighty God is too hard. We keep being asked to pursue the truth, but I can’t live up to it. It’s easier to believe in Jesus, that way you don’t have to pursue the truth and you can just believe however you want.” How can they say such things? What is the problem here? (They do not love the truth and they are averse to the truth.) So, who actually can enter the kingdom of heaven? The Lord Jesus said something crucial: “He that follows the will of My Father which is in heaven(Matthew 7:21). There is another key utterance: “The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force(Matthew 11:12). There are different translations of this verse, and one version renders its meaning as, “The kingdom of heaven is taken by violence; you must use all your strength to enter it, and you cannot enter without using all your strength.” This translation is more accurate. Remember, these two biblical statements are critical. They show us the only path to enter the kingdom of heaven. Now that Almighty God has come, and He is the King of the kingdom of heaven, if you do not allow yourself to be perfected by Him, you are not qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven. Betraying Almighty God is the same as betraying the kingdom of heaven. Is this not the case? (It is.) So, you know that to enter the kingdom of heaven you must pursue and understand the truth, but you feel it’s too much effort and are unwilling to pursue it. What kind of problem is that? It shows that you do not love the truth. If you do not love the truth, are you still qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven? The kingdom of heaven is God’s kingdom, and it is a kingdom of truth. It is not Satan’s kingdom. The truth is the reality of the kingdom of heaven. If you do not understand or enter into the truth, then how can you enter the kingdom of heaven? Dream on! Some people are reporting a problem: “Why do people leave our church every once in a while? Some people have believed for a year or two, so why have they left?” You can’t see through this, can you? Aren’t these people just those who do not love the truth? They are unwilling to read God’s words or practice the truth. They leave because they are averse to the truth. Have you seen through to the essence of this problem now? (Yes.) Then what would you say are the consequences of these people leaving? What are the consequences of them betraying Almighty God and the truth? (They have forever lost the salvation of the last days.) Some of these people have gone home to live their lives, while others have gone out into the world to pursue evil trends. Although they enjoy temporary fleshly comfort, do they still have any hope of attaining salvation? (No.) If they have no hope of attaining salvation, are they still qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven? (No.) When a person betrays God, this means they will go to hell and perish. So, how do you think God views this matter? You must seek the truth and grasp God’s intentions to see things accurately. (God’s words say: “Toward those who showed Me not the slightest loyalty during times of tribulation, I shall be merciful no more, for My mercy only extends so far. I have no liking, furthermore, for anyone who has once betrayed Me(The Word, Vol. 1. The Appearance and Work of God. Prepare Sufficient Good Deeds for Your Destination).) Since such a person has betrayed God and left Him, can their name still be recorded in the book of life? (No.) Their name is blotted out from the book of life, and they have forever lost the chance to attain salvation. They will never be able to see God again. This person has been sentenced to death. Someone might ask, “What if they come back one day and want to follow God again? As the saying goes, ‘The returned prodigal son is worth more than gold.’ Can God still accept them?” How could they move God’s heart to the point that God would accept them? That’s hard to say. Such a matter is unknown. You must remember this: If they are new to the faith and don’t understand any truth, and they leave and then come back, it is easier for God to accept them. But if they have believed for a year or two and know that God’s words are the truth, yet they still leave and betray God, they are willfully sinning, and their chance to attain salvation is likely gone. As it says in the Bible: “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins(Hebrews 10:26). Is this not the case? (Yes.)

This kind of person mentioned in this question feels they aren’t up to the work and wants to quit. Is this serious in nature? (Yes.) It’s serious. It’s like a man who gets married and has children, but then says, “I can’t bear the burden of this family. I don’t want to live anymore, I’m going to hang myself!” And so he abandons his wife and children. What kind of person is that? (He is not a good person. He is irresponsible.) You knew life wouldn’t be easy, so why did you get married and have children? Since you’ve already done so, and now you want to kill yourself because you can’t bear the burden of family life, are you worthy of being called a human? (No.) No, you are not, and you will be forever reviled for this. Now, if a leader encounters a little difficulty in their work and says, “Oh, I lack the truth, and I don’t know how to solve problems, so I’d better quit,” is that okay? (No.) What does quitting mean? (Abandoning their post and betraying God.) This person is a good-for-nothing. There’s a common Chinese saying, “It’s a hopeless case.” This is the kind of person they are. Can such a person still shoulder a heavy burden? (No.) Can they take up their cross and follow God? (No.) So, are they not a good-for-nothing? (They are.) Such a person is useless! No matter how old a person is, how much they know, or what their caliber is like, if they cannot shoulder an item of work, their life has no value at all. What does a person have to do to live a life of value and significance? They must be able to shoulder a burden, complete an item of work, fulfill a duty, and shoulder God’s commission. That is what it means to be able to shoulder responsibility. Such a person lives out the likeness of a true human being, and their life has value and significance. If a person can’t do any duty, endure any hardship, learn anything, or accomplish anything, does their life have value? (No.) Can such a person enter the kingdom of heaven? (No.) They are not qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven! Those who can enter the kingdom of heaven must have the truth reality. They must have their own thoughts, normal humanity, and normal thinking. Only then can they shoulder some aspect of the work and be qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven. There are no muddleheaded or useless people in the kingdom of heaven, and there are certainly no devils or Satans. The kingdom of heaven is full of people who possess the truth reality, who are honest, who submit to and worship God, and who can shoulder God’s commission and do their duty in a way that is up to standard. Such people have a share in the kingdom of heaven. If somebody encounters a little difficulty in their duty, feels they aren’t up to the work, and wants to quit, then what kind of person is that? That’s a good-for-nothing, an utter good-for-nothing! Who doesn’t have difficulties in their duties? No matter what area of work you do, there will be a certain degree of difficulty. Do you think the work I do is difficult? (Yes.) In what way is my work difficult? (Brother, you are in charge of many items of work and you have a lot to attend to. Also, some of the work is technical, and you’re a layman in those areas, so guiding that work is difficult indeed.) I’m a layman in many areas of work. I’ve never studied these fields. I’m a layman in hymn work; I’ve never studied it. I’m a layman in dance work; I’ve never studied it. I’m a layman in film work; I’ve never studied it. And I’ve certainly never studied computer technology or languages. I’m a layman in all of these fields. So, is it difficult for me to do this work? (Yes.) So how do I shoulder this work when there are difficulties? I have to learn, pay the price, push myself, and find people to cooperate with. No matter the difficulty in any area of work, it is inseparable from fellowshipping the truth and using the truth to solve problems. That’s why I must always seek the truth and persevere. I can never back down or say negative things. No matter how difficult or tough it gets, I have to press on. This is how I resolve difficulties in my work. Also, I constantly reflect on myself, asking myself, “What aspects of the truth have I not yet made clear through fellowship? What problems in the church have I not yet resolved or discovered? Are there any leaders and workers in the church who are false leaders or antichrists that I haven’t yet discovered? Are there people who have been wrongly cleared out or mistakenly expelled? If so, I must quickly find them and bring them back. I can’t ruin their chance of being saved. Are there any unresolved problems in the gospel work that could affect the results of preaching the gospel? When I’m working, if I say something inappropriate or do something that brothers and sisters can’t understand, and it causes them to develop notions, could they leave?” I often ponder and reflect on these questions. If someone develops notions and leaves because of something I said or did, I have to explain it to them. How do I explain it? I’ve fellowshipped on this before. Who remembers and can share? (Brother, I remember you fellowshipped that we believe in God, so we shouldn’t be affected by anyone’s attitude in speaking or tone of voice. Also, we must learn to comprehend and handle the matter correctly. If a person’s words align with God’s intentions, we should accept them. If we don’t understand, we can seek.) (Brother, you also said that sometimes when you severely prune or expose a person, it’s out of anger over the bad things they’ve done at that moment, and you dissect and make a judgment on what that person has done and the path they are on. But if the person later repents and changes, your attitude will also change, and you will treat them fairly according to the principles.) What you’ve said is correct. But what I originally said was more direct than that. This is what I said: “You believe in Almighty God. You don’t believe in me. I do not represent God. If you feel that anything I say is not in line with the truth principles, you can point it out to me. You cannot become negative and weak because I say something inappropriate. Since you believe in God, you must understand in your heart that God is the truth, His words are all the truth, and there is truth in all the work He does. You should seek the truth. Don’t be constrained by what I say. I am a corrupt human being, just like you. The only difference is that I have been saved by God, and He uses me to do work. My primary job is to guide God’s chosen people to enter the truth reality, do their duties well, and follow God’s will. This is my work, but I cannot represent God. So, don’t be constrained by me in your faith. You must focus on listening to God’s words. If you think what I say is right and accords with the truth, then listen. If it doesn’t accord with the truth, you don’t have to listen. Whatever you do, don’t become negative or weak and then leave because of something I’ve done or said. If you don’t even know who you believe in, then you are foolish, and you are utterly ignorant and blind!” Is that not what I said? (It was.) Was it appropriate for me to say that? (Yes.) Were those words from the heart? (Yes.) Did fellowshipping like that resolve the issue? (It did.) I went a bit off-topic in my fellowship just now, but those off-topic remarks were still useful, and they pretty much ended up answering the question. Right? (Right.)

Question 4: After I fellowship on the truth with someone, their difficulties and problems are never resolved, and their state always relapses. How can I discern whether this is because my fellowship isn’t clear enough or because this person doesn’t love the truth?

Answer: Whether your fellowship on the truth is clear enough is something you know in your heart, and the listener is also very clear on it. Therefore, you can’t just rely on how you feel to determine whether your fellowship was clear enough; you also have to ask the listener if they think it was. If they say it wasn’t, that proves your fellowship wasn’t clear enough. If they say it was, that proves your fellowship was clear. If you’re certain your fellowship was clear, and the listener also acknowledges it was, but they don’t accept or practice the truth, whose problem is that? (Their problem.) So, is this problem easy to resolve? (Yes, it is.) For some problems, you might think you’ve fellowshipped on them clearly, but in reality, they aren’t as simple as you imagine. You might think you know what the problem is and where its root lies, but it turns out that your fellowship and solutions aren’t very effective. This shows that there are still issues you haven’t thought of or fellowshipped on. Therefore, the problem hasn’t been resolved at its root, or the outcome isn’t good. Does this happen? (It does.) So, when you fellowship on the truth, you should clearly fellowship on the problems you’re able to see, and you also need to fellowship and resolve problems that you’re aware of but aren’t certain about, as these might be the root of the issue. You should try your best to fellowship on one or two additional aspects of the issue. If you’ve fellowshipped on enough problems, even to the point where potential problems can be fellowshipped clearly, this will give you a better chance of resolving the issue. Therefore, resolving problems can’t be based on one’s imaginings. Simply resolving a single aspect of a problem isn’t enough. Related issues and potential issues must also be resolved. This way, one of your points might be exactly what resolves their problem and be exactly what they need most. Look at the angle I take when I fellowship with you to resolve problems. The angle from which I come at problems is different from yours. Why is that? (You see problems on a deeper level.) The angle I look at problems from is different from yours, so the root causes I discover are different. Your approach to resolving problems is too one-sided to be effective. I, on the other hand, resolve problems from multiple aspects, which yields better results. So, what have you learned from my way of resolving problems? (To resolve a problem, we must first figure out why the other person raised the question they did, and what reasons, concerns, or doubts have led them to ask it. By answering from multiple aspects, the problem can be resolved.) That’s right. To resolve a problem, you must grasp its crux. You can’t just resolve a single issue; one or two related issues must also be resolved. This way, the scope of your resolution will be broader, and the results you achieve will be better. Isn’t that so? (Yes.) So, what do you think of fellowshipping on this issue this way? (That works.)
