How Leaders and Workers Should Do Church Work (1)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – November 25, 2025 (Part Seven)

Question 13: How can a person come to practice the truth, fear God, and shun evil?

Answer: How can a person come to practice the truth, fear God, and shun evil? These things are achieved through the pursuit of the truth. So how does one pursue the truth? This is done by seeking the truth to resolve problems in every situation and matter that befalls you. In this way, you will gradually come to practice the truth, fear God, and shun evil. For example, situations, people, events, and things, in particular, things that make you negative and weak and leave you with no path to follow, may befall you. These things have a great impact on your growth in life. If you seek the truth in such matters and resolve these problems, then your life will take a big step forward, and you will be able to practice the truth. If you do not seek the truth, then you will not be able to continue experiencing these things. These things can make you stumble and become unable to practice the truth. So, what does it mainly depend on to become a person who practices the truth? On faith in God. And what is faith built on? It is built on the foundation of your knowledge of God’s work. The more you know of God’s work, the more faith you will have. Once you have faith, you will thirst for the truth and become inseparable from the truth. If you know God’s work in this way, then one day, when you have come to know how God works to save man, you will be able to testify to God. When others ask you to talk about how God saves man, you will be able to tell them, “God saves man by working the truth into man and making the truth man’s life. Once humans gain the truth, true faith in God comes into being within them, their corrupt disposition is cleansed, and they attain salvation.” After hearing this, they will understand that God saving man means having man gain the truth and enter the truth reality. When humans have the truth, they have faith. This fulfills these words of God: “What God does is turn words into faith, into love, and into life(The Word, Vol. 1. The Appearance and Work of God. The Path … (8)). Therefore, gaining the truth and entering the truth reality are achieved through the understanding and practicing of the truth. The more you practice the truth, the more faith you will have in God, and the more you practice the truth, the more you will be able to enter the truth reality. To be precise, to practice the truth is to experience God’s work and to submit to God. If you do not practice the truth, you are not experiencing God’s work, nor are you submitting to God. If you do not practice the truth at all and do not submit to God whatsoever, then you have no truth reality at all, and in the end, you will gain nothing, and your belief in God will have been in vain. The most critical thing in believing in God is gaining the truth. Gaining the truth means gaining life. How much truth you gain determines how much life entry you have. Therefore, no matter how people experience God’s work, they cannot be separated from the practice of the truth. Practicing the truth is the absolute foundation, the very core, and the ultimate key in believing in God. If one day you can practice the truth and act according to principles, and you finally have some truth reality, how will you feel in your heart? Will you feel peace and joy in your heart? (Yes.) Practicing the truth and acting according to principles brings peace and joy to the heart. If you have believed in God for several years and still have no peace or joy in your heart, why is this? It is because you have not gained the truth, so you feel no peace or joy in your heart. The disasters are now growing bigger and bigger, and nobody knows how many will die when a great disaster strikes one day. Those who have not gained the truth are terrified, worried, and afraid at the prospect of this. They think, “The disasters are now so great! Am I going to die? Will I be able to escape the disasters and survive?” If you have not gained the truth, you will feel uneasy, and you will have no peace or joy in your heart. If you usually focus on practicing the truth, and you have gained the truth, possess the truth reality, and come to follow God’s will and submit to God, then you will feel peace and joy in your heart. When disasters strike, you will not be worried or afraid, and you will feel God’s protection. How is this true peace and joy achieved? Through true faith. And what is achieved through true faith? It is the ability to practice the truth and submit to God. If you do not have the testimony of practicing the truth and submitting to God, and yet you say you have faith in God, is this nothing but empty talk? Those of true faith have the strength to practice the truth, and they can come to submit to God and stand firm in their testimony for God. Even if you are opposed, judged, and rejected for practicing the truth, your heart will still be at peace and at ease. If you practice the truth and do your duty well, no matter how antichrists and evildoers oppose, judge, and condemn you, or even attack and reject you, your heart will still be at ease. You will feel that they oppose you because you practice the truth, and that they are devils and Satans. Your heart will not be affected by them, and instead, you will be filled with great peace and joy.

If people want to be able to practice the truth and have a God-fearing heart, they must experience God’s work bit by bit. After experiencing God’s judgment, chastisement, pruning, discipline, and chastening, people will know God’s work and their own corrupt dispositions more and more deeply. After people gain this knowledge, what is the first thing they thirst for? To be able to practice the truth. You will always think to yourself, “I must practice the truth. I always used to be constrained by my corrupt disposition and failed to practice the truth. I am so indebted to God. I actually understand some truths and can preach many doctrines, but why can’t I put them into practice? I now see that I haven’t pursued the truth in all my years of believing in God, and that I still have no truth reality!” Tell me, how does this mindset of remorse arise? It arises when people, after experiencing many things, gain knowledge of their corrupt dispositions, their true stature, and their true state. At this point, they hate themselves for not having pursued the truth, for having understood too little of the truth, for not knowing how to practice the truth, and for not having entered into the truth reality. Therefore, the more people know themselves, the more they have a God-fearing heart, and the more they thirst to practice the truth and bear testimony for God. At such a time, when you hear others talk about their experiential testimonies, you will feel envious, thinking, “What a profound experience! How is it that their comprehension and knowledge of God’s words are so practical? Their principles of practice are so good! This is practicing the truth! How are they so good at it?” You will be constantly envious of them, and this envy will give rise to a heart that thirsts for the truth. This thirst of yours will be stimulated, and you will gain resolve, thinking, “If others can practice the truth, then I too must practice the truth. If others have the truth reality, then I too must pursue the truth and enter the truth reality.” Then how should you proceed to practice the truth and enter the truth reality? When things befall you, you should think to yourself, “I must fear God and shun evil. I will not participate in anything that is evil, nor in anything that involves the judging of others. I will ignore all temptation.” If you can think this way, you will be able to shun evil deeds. Even if everyone else partakes in evil deeds, you will not follow the crowd in doing evil, because you have a God-fearing heart and discernment over evil deeds, and so you will be protected. If you experience God’s work in this way, you will gradually understand and practice more and more truths. You will have somewhat of a God-fearing heart and be able to shun evil. At that time, you will rejoice that you have come to understand some truths over these years, and that it is only because of this that you have received God’s great protection. Is becoming able to practice the truth, fear God, and shun evil, as mentioned in this question, not also achieved by going through experiences bit by bit in this way? (It is.) Job’s fear of God and shunning of evil was not perfect at the start. Even he required decades of experience for this. He only became able to fear God and shun evil once he had believed in God until the age of seventy. When he believed in God for just thirty years, his stature was still small, and his heart that feared God and shunned evil might just have taken shape and not yet reached perfection. Perhaps he could shun evil in some matters, but not in others. But by the time he was seventy, his stature had grown, he had gained true faith, and he could fear God and shun evil no matter what befell him. God approved of him as a perfect man. Therefore, becoming able to practice the truth, fear God, and shun evil is not something that happens overnight. It can only be achieved through long-term experience, bit by bit.

Question 14: I am now starting to practice doing work independently. I know this is God’s grace, but I feel that I still don’t quite understand some principles when dealing with various problems in the church. I am worried about whether I can carry this responsibility through to the end and satisfy God. Therefore, I want to seek how I can fulfill my duty more quickly and persist to the end on the basis of adhering to the truth principles.

Answer: Some members of the decision-making groups in various countries are now starting to work independently. These people are quite good. They have the faith to practice working independently, and this shows they want to fulfill their duties and satisfy God’s intentions. The members of decision-making groups are all people in the church who have believed in God for a relatively long time and have some practical experience. If they understand some truths and are relatively clear on the path of how to experience God’s work, how to fellowship the truth to resolve actual problems, and how to carry out the various works of the church, then they can shoulder this work. If their understanding of the truth is too shallow, their experience is too shallow, and they cannot see these matters clearly, then they will not be able to work independently even if they want to. Even if they choose to work independently, the work they carry out will definitely not yield results, and if things go wrong, the church’s work may even become paralyzed. So if you work independently, can you guarantee that no problems will arise in the church’s work? Can you guarantee that the church’s work will go smoothly and without problems? (No.) This is because you not only have to do the work of spreading the gospel, but you also have to get church life going so that brothers and sisters can enter into the truth reality. This is in fact also in service of spreading the gospel. Furthermore, if disruptions, disturbances, struggles for power and profit, or jealousy and disputes arise in the church, then as a leader, you must quickly seek the truth to resolve these things. The path to entering the truth reality is bumpy and uneven because all people have satanic dispositions. There is no knowing when there may be people who disrupt and disturb the church, or antichrists and evildoers who mislead people. If you do not know how to resolve these problems, then the church’s work is in danger of being disturbed and destroyed by Satan. When the church is peaceful and there are no evil people disturbing it, people are quite energetic and enthusiastic in their belief in God and performance of their duties. Once there are evil people disturbing the church and misleading people, if the leaders and workers do not understand the truth and lack discernment, they themselves will first become doubtful, thinking, “What they say seems to make some sense. What they say is probably right, and not a fallacy. Therefore, what they did might also be right.” If they themselves are misled first, will the problems of evil people disturbing the church and misleading people still be easy to resolve? They will not. If leaders and workers themselves harbor notions and fallacies, or if they lack discernment upon hearing a rumor spreading negative propaganda and begin to doubt God, and instead of seeking the truth to resolve this, they go looking for biblical bases, wanting to use the Bible to verify whether the way they believe in is correct, can such people still do work? (No.) If they themselves fall down when tempted, how can they still work to lead their brothers and sisters? They won’t be able to, for they do not understand the truth at all.

Tell me, what kind of person will not fall down when facing various temptations of Satan and rumors spreading negative propaganda, and can stand firm and shoulder God’s commission? (Someone who understands the truth and has discernment.) First of all, they must know God’s work, be completely certain about God, and have rooted themselves firmly in the true way. So, are you completely certain about God? In The Church of Almighty God, there are truths expressed by God, and the Holy Spirit is working to make a group of people complete. Tell me, is this done by God? Can you see that this Son of man who expresses the truth is God’s incarnate flesh? Can you be certain that this work is done by God? (Yes.) If you understand these truths of visions clearly and are certain about Almighty God’s work, then if someone slanders the incarnate God, will you believe it? Will you accept it? You will not believe it, much less accept it. You say you understand the truths of visions clearly and that you can be certain about Almighty God’s work, so how can you still be affected by negative propaganda? This is the problem. This shows that you do not truly understand the truth. You say you understand the truth, but can you say, “Whether it is the incarnate God or the man used by God, whatever they do is right”? Some people say, “I have to evaluate both the incarnate God and the man used by God against the Bible. If their actions violate the Bible even a little, then He is not God’s incarnate flesh, and he is not the man used by God.” Is this view correct? (No.) If you evaluate God and the man used by God against the Bible, then you are resisting God, blaspheming God, and violating the administrative decrees. Tell me, were there mistakes in the work Moses did? (Yes.) Then why did God still use him? (He had his uses.) It wasn’t just that he had his uses, but that God chose this person, and used this person. If God used him to do work and you do not submit, and if you do not observe the laws God used him to promulgate, you will die and be destroyed. If you oppose the man used by God, you are violating the administrative decrees, and you will be punished. This is God’s administrative decree. If you think God’s administrative decrees do not accord with human notions and you therefore do not submit to or observe them, then you are revealed, showing that you have no God-fearing heart at all. A person with a God-fearing heart can treat God’s administrative decrees correctly and submit to and observe them regardless of whether they accord with their notions or not. A person without a God-fearing heart dares to not observe them, and they even dare to try and resist, argue against, and judge these decrees, resulting in them being condemned by God for resisting Him. This is a serious matter. Suppose you know that Christ can express the truth because He is God’s incarnate flesh, but you still dare to judge Him. What is the problem here? You are directly judging the Spirit of God. If you dare to directly judge the Spirit of God, then you are directly judging and condemning God. Let me tell you, if you cannot see this matter clearly, then you are in trouble and you will most likely be punished for violating God’s administrative decrees by condemning God. Tell me, why were the two hundred and fifty leaders who opposed Moses in the Age of Law punished? They said, “Has God not given revelations to us as He did to Moses? Moses is no better than us. We do not submit. We are all the same.” From a human perspective, they didn’t seem to say anything that seriously condemned Moses, but their opposition to Moses and lack of submission to him was in violation of the administrative decrees. Moses was the person chosen by and used by God, so to oppose Moses didn’t just mean that you had an issue with Moses, but that you also had an issue with God. Therefore, although these two hundred and fifty leaders did not directly oppose Jehovah God, but only judged and opposed Moses in this way, in God’s eyes, they were judging and resisting God Himself, and violating His administrative decrees. God performed a wonder through Moses: The earth opened its mouth and they fell into the chasm and fell into Hades. This was the consequence of their violating the administrative decrees. People are cursed and punished for judging and resisting the man used by God, let alone judging and resisting the incarnate God. If you dare to judge the incarnate God, then you are courting death. This is no joke; this is a matter of offending God’s disposition. Therefore, you must never judge God. Although there are many things you cannot see clearly, these things are intentionally arranged and designed by God. There is God’s wisdom and God’s good intention in them. If you do not have a God-fearing heart and judge matters arbitrarily, then you can just wait to be eliminated. Let me speak from the heart again: The occurrence of these things is also for God to reveal people and test whether they have a God-fearing heart. Those without a God-fearing heart will fall sooner or later. If you are reckless and dare to judge anyone arbitrarily, then sooner or later, you will be punished for offending God’s disposition. So never wait until you are punished to regret your actions. By then, it will be too late.

Some people are often negative. Does this have anything to do with their notions about God or with their being affected by negative propaganda? (Yes.) Then why can they not get over this? There is not a single thing in the universe that is not arranged by God. Everything is preordained by God, and things that are not in line with your notions are also preordained by God. God uses these things to reveal you and see your attitude. If you know that this Son of man is the incarnate Christ, and that He is God, and yet you still dare to condemn Him, is this not outrageous? In this you are knowingly and deliberately resisting the true way. Then where is your God-fearing heart? You have no God-fearing heart at all. Look at Job. When faced with things he could not see clearly, he did not say a word. He preferred to curse himself rather than speak words of judgment. A person with a God-fearing heart behaves like Job. You do not have a God-fearing heart, and you become negative and stop doing your work just because you have some notions about God. Why are you negative? Is it not because you are afraid of believing in the wrong thing? How could you be wrong to believe in the incarnate God? If you are truly certain about God, then no matter what God does, you will have no notions. So long as you submit to God, satisfy God, and have a heart of simple belief, then you are in the right. You always doubt God and are always afraid of believing in the wrong thing. That is because you are too calculating and your thoughts are overwrought. You are quite deceitful, and in the end, your petty calculations will ruin you. People who are too calculating have many notions about the incarnate God. Some do not accept Almighty God because His incarnation is female, while others do not accept Him because they listen to religious pastors and elders saying that “Almighty God is an ordinary person.” Others stop believing because they have notions about God’s incarnation. In the end, they bring ruin upon their own outcome and destination. Therefore, when you see that the words expressed by Christ are the truth, you should be quick to accept them. The truth does not treat people unfairly, and only by accepting the truth can you have the chance to be saved by God. Who in the entire world and among all of mankind can express the truth? Only God Himself. Only God’s incarnate flesh can express the truth. You do not practice the truths expressed by God, yet you dare to engage in judgment and condemnation. What nerve you have! You clearly do not have a God-fearing heart. You say that you have good caliber and a God-fearing heart, so why is it that you can’t resolve your notions about God? Why do you become negative when you hear rumors and negative propaganda? Where is your God-fearing heart? You do not fear God or shun evil. Without a God-fearing heart, you will be unable to let go of your notions. One day, when God changes His image and becomes a spiritual body and allows you to see Him, you will gnash your teeth and wail, “Almighty God is the true God! If I had known earlier, I would have let go of my notions sooner, pursued the truth and expended myself for God sooner! Then I would have had a chance to be saved. But because I clung to my notions, I was negative for years and delayed the great matter of being saved. My outcome and destination are completely ruined!” But by this point, your regrets will be of no use. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance for people to have a God-fearing heart. Job did not understand much truth, but he won God’s approval by relying on his heart that feared God and shunned evil. When he faced the trial of losing his property and children, he did not follow his friends in judging what God did, nor did he complain about God when his wife told him to abandon God and die. Look at how perfect Job’s heart that feared God and shunned evil was. When faced with such a great trial, he had no notions about God, nor did he fall into temptation or negativity. He preferred to curse himself rather than complain about God. Did Job have true faith in God? (Yes.) From a human perspective, the work God did on Job was not in line with human notions, and ordinary people would find it difficult to submit when faced with such things. But Job did not judge God. He preferred to curse himself rather than judge God. He said: “Jehovah gave, and Jehovah has taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah” (Job 1:21). He did not engage in judgment and remained able to extol and praise God when these great things befell him. This was a person who truly feared God. But you become negative when you encounter a piece of negative propaganda or something you cannot see clearly. Where is your God-fearing heart? You fall far short of Job, don’t you? (Yes.) Then should we emulate Job? (Yes.) So, if you want to follow God and do your duty well, it is not something easy. One must pursue the truth diligently to come to understand the truth, become able to use the truth to solve problems, and at the same time, develop a God-fearing heart. Only in this way can a person stand firm and complete God’s commission. Is this clear? (Yes.)
