Fellowship From the Brother Above – January 21, 2025 (Part Two)

Today, let’s fellowship on the hymn “God Wishes Mankind Will Pursue the Truth and Survive.” Most people can probably sing this hymn, but as for why one must pursue the truth, and why only by pursuing the truth can one survive, it is not necessarily clear to people. So, let’s fellowship on why one must pursue the truth. At the very least, we must know that the corruption of mankind is truly deep, that we have Satan’s nature within us, and that we are filled with corrupt dispositions. Does such a corrupt mankind not resist God? (It does.) This must be recognized. Why do people in the religious world, after believing in the Lord for many years and behaving somewhat well in some ways, think they are qualified to be caught up into the kingdom of heaven? What is the problem here? (They have no knowledge of their corrupt dispositions, and they still think they are good people, qualified to be caught up into the kingdom of heaven by the Lord.) That’s right. It is because they do not know their corrupt dispositions. What are the consequences of not knowing one’s corrupt dispositions? One has no awareness even when they have clearly rebelled against and resisted God; they do not acknowledge their actions as sins even when they have clearly done evil, offended God, condemned God, and even nailed God to the cross; they are clearly filled with corrupt dispositions and just behave somewhat well in some ways, but they think they are qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven. People who do not know themselves have so many absurd notions and ideas. Then do people who do not know themselves have the truth? (They do not.) Do people who do not know themselves know God? (They do not.) Do people who do not know themselves know what God’s requirements for man are? Do they know what God’s intentions are? Do they know how God views corrupt mankind? They are incapable of knowing any of these things! Therefore, people who do not know themselves do not understand the truth at all, and people who do not know themselves do not know God at all, and they can do many things that condemn and resist God. It’s just as the people of Judaism who nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross did not acknowledge that what they were doing was a sin, much less that this was an act of resisting God. What is the problem here? (Not knowing oneself.) Then can mankind, as corrupt as it is in this way, this mankind that has done evil, resisted God, offended God, and offended God’s disposition, and yet does not know that it is sinning or that it is resisting God, be saved? (It cannot.) After the people of Judaism nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross, they did not acknowledge their mistake for over two thousand years. Now, when we preach the gospel to them, they do not accept it, and they even say, “We are waiting for the Messiah. Only when the Messiah comes can we accept.” What they are implying is that Almighty God is not the Messiah, and that they cannot accept Him. What is the problem here? (Not knowing God.) These things must be reflected on carefully. If a person does not have a thorough understanding of the nature of this matter, then the consequences will be troublesome! To what extent will they be troublesome? People resist God and yet absolutely refuse to admit their sin, and they resist God and yet absolutely refuse to repent. Doing so means having reached the point of being deeply sinful. Can a person who is deeply sinful avoid being destroyed? Such a person is sure to be destroyed. The people of Judaism have believed in Jehovah God for at least three thousand years, and though God has become incarnate twice, on both occasions, they have not accepted Him. They nailed the Lord Jesus, who was God’s first incarnation, to the cross, and they have also condemned and rejected Almighty God, God who has been incarnated for the second time. Can they still be saved? (No.) They are finished, and their outcome is fixed. So, despite the fact that they also believe in the one true God, and even though they have believed for three thousand years, it is in vain. In the end, it is akin to trying to draw water with a wicker basket. Now we see that Judaism has made such a mistake. They nailed God to the cross and still do not acknowledge that they are sinners, and they stubbornly refuse to repent. Thus, they are beyond saving. In addition, we also see that most people in the religious communities of today—Christianity, Catholicism, and Eastern Orthodoxy—do not accept the incarnate Almighty God. What will their outcome be? This is easy to imagine. When the Lord Jesus appeared and worked, He said something very important: “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). What does this mean? It means that the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God, is about to descend on earth. If you want to enter the kingdom of heaven, you must hurry and repent. If you do not repent, your hope of entering the kingdom of heaven will be dashed. In the course of His preaching, the Lord Jesus exposed many of the evil deeds of the Pharisees, and finally, He characterized them as being in woe. Why were they in woe? When the Lord Jesus expressed the truth, these Pharisees simply did not accept it. They were well aware that the words of the Lord Jesus had authority and power, and yet they still condemned Him, and they even arrested Him, whipped Him, and nailed Him to the cross. What is the problem here? The people who nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross were not nonbelievers, but the people of Judaism, the Pharisees. It was they who collaborated with the Roman government to nail God to the cross. These Pharisees held power in the religious world and became antichrist forces. Is that not so? (It is.) Then let’s analyze this further. They believed in God, yet they resisted God. To what extent did they resist? No matter how many truths God expressed, they did not acknowledge or accept them. They also condemned and blasphemed against God, and in the end, they even nailed God to the cross as if He were a criminal. What is the problem here? Some people say, “Is this not because they did not know God?” Just because you do not know God, does that mean you should nail the Son of man who expresses the truth to the cross? Even if you do not know God, you should not condemn God. You nailed the Son of man who expresses the truth to the cross. Is this not a problem? (It is.) Did the Son of man hold any enmity toward you? Did He harm your interests or attack and condemn you? He did not do any of these things. Then why did you nail Him to the cross? If you kill someone without cause, you must pay with your life, and the law will sentence you as guilty. How much more so, then, when you nailed the Son of man who expresses the truth to the cross. This is a matter of the utmost seriousness! Where does the truth come from? Is the truth something that corrupt mankind possesses? The truth comes from God. Only God is the truth, and only God can express the truth. The chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees of Judaism nailed this Son of man who expresses the truth to the cross. Seeing that the Lord Jesus can express the truth, even if you did not know that the Lord Jesus is God, at the very least you would think Him a messenger of God or someone sent by God, right? Why did you nail Him to the cross? This is the problem. The disciples and apostles who followed the Lord Jesus mostly did not know the Lord Jesus. No one could say the words, “Lord, You are Christ, the Son of God.” Only Peter said these words. When Peter said these words, what did the Lord Jesus say? “Flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but My Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 16:17). Look, people cannot know God! Without the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, no one can know God. Given that people cannot know God, to measure whether a person has humanity, one can only look at whether they have conscience and reason. So did those who nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross have conscience and reason? Why did they nail the Son of man who expresses the truth to the cross? The nature of this one point is serious enough, and it is enough for them to be condemned! Tell me, in the last days, Almighty God has expressed so many truths, so who in the entire religious world cannot see them? Except for those who are blind, anyone who has eyes and can go online can see them. Then why do they not accept them? This is the problem. If you do not accept the truth, even if you believe in the Lord and in Jehovah, it is in vain, no matter how many years you believe. You believe in the Lord and in Jehovah, but do you not know that Jehovah God is the truth? Do you not know that the Lord Jesus is the truth? If you do not know that God is the truth, then your belief is in vain, no matter how many years you have believed. Can we say this? (Yes.) You do not know the truth. So, what kind of person can know the truth? Only those who know God can know the truth. Many people have no knowledge of God at all, and they do not even acknowledge that God is the truth. Therefore, when the Son of man comes to express the truth and people are to identify who this person who expresses the truth is, most people in the religious world say in unison, “He is a man, not God, because He is of the flesh, and not a spiritual body!” What do you think of this statement? These people believe that the incarnate Son of man is an ordinary person, and definitely not God, so they dare to wantonly condemn and resist Him. The true evil and ugliness and the nature of these people thus come to be revealed.

What do I mean by the things I am saying today? I say these things to make people recognize that God is the truth. No matter what kind of person He is, what country He is from, or what He looks like, as long as He can express the truth, He is God’s incarnate flesh. If you truly recognize this, you will be blessed. As of today, many people have come to accept Almighty God. Why have they done so? It is because God has expressed so many truths. They know that the truth comes from God, and if Almighty God can express the truth, then it must be that the Spirit of God has descended upon Him, because no corrupt human can express the truth. This understanding is very good and very practical. Among all of mankind, apart from the Lord Jesus, who else can express the truth? Only Almighty God. Is that not so? (It is.) Can you find a third such person? (No.) You could travel to the ends of the earth and still not find one. No one else can express the truth. Everyone has come to see this fact. The Son of man who expresses the truth is undoubtedly the incarnate God. Some people say, “You say He is the incarnate God Himself, but this is something we must research. We cannot accept such a thing blindly.” Is it right for them to say that they want to research it? (No.) This cannot be said to be entirely wrong, but it cannot be said to be right either. Why is this? The truth and the appearance of God are one. In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth and all things, it is said that “the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” How is this to be explained? God created the heavens and earth and all things with His words. God speaks, and it comes into being; God commands, and it stands fast. God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Whatever God says comes to be. You have heard God’s words, but have you seen the spiritual body of God? Can you see it? Moses could not see it on Mount Sinai either, and he only heard God speak. When God appeared to Moses and Job, they only heard God’s words. They did not see the spiritual body of God. Why could they not see it? Man is of flesh and blood, and if you were to see His spiritual body, you would be unable to live, and you would surely perish. Therefore, people in the material world can never see God’s real person. If you were to see it, you would die. You can only hear God’s words. When you hear God’s words, this is God appearing to you. What does God appear to you as? Words. What is meant by “words” here? This refers to the words spoken by God. These words are the truths expressed by God, and they are the appearance of God’s authority and power. So when God speaks to mankind, does the work of judgment, does He appear and work as a spiritual body? He does not. God’s work is never done with the appearance of a spiritual body, and the existence of the spiritual body cannot be seen in the material world. One can only hear the sound of speaking, the sound of thunder. Today, God’s words are expressed through this ordinary person. This is the Word appearing in the flesh. If you see that these words are the appearance of God, the utterances of God, that this is God expressing the truth, and that this is God doing His work, why can you not accept this? Must you see the spiritual body of God speaking before you will accept this? If so, you are truly foolish! The spiritual body of God cannot be seen by man, and if a human sees it, they will die. We have all heard of some special experiences, where some people have gone to heaven or to the spiritual realm and have seen the appearance of God. They have not seen the spiritual body of God. No one is capable of seeing the spiritual body of God. In these incidents, the Spirit of God takes these people to a place and allows them to see a vision. What they hear is only a voice, and they cannot see the spiritual body of God. Therefore, corrupt mankind cannot see the spiritual body of God, and perhaps if a person were to see the spiritual body of God, they would die. Since the incarnation of God as the Lord Jesus in the Age of Grace, God has appeared to man in the image of the Lord Jesus, and no one has been able to see the spiritual body of God. Is that not so? (It is.) But the religious world always emphasizes, “We must see the spiritual body of the Lord Jesus before we will believe.” Is this statement valid? (No.) This notion and imagining is truly naive. If you search the Bible or the experiences of all mankind, you’ll find that no one has been able to see the spiritual body of God. Even prophets and people used by God have only ever heard God speak. God called to them and spoke to them, and they heard the voice of God. Later, God became incarnate as the Lord Jesus, and when God appeared to man again, He was in the image of the Lord Jesus. Was that God’s spiritual body? No, it was just the appearance in the image of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, even though the religious world has believed in God for so many years, it still wants to see the spiritual body of God. This is not only an extravagant desire, but it is also a manifestation of being naive, foolish, and ignorant. Can we say this? (Yes.) God’s sheep hear God’s voice. So how do God’s sheep hear God’s voice? As soon as they read the words of Almighty God, they feel, “These words are the truth! These words are not words that a human can speak. These words come from God!” In addition, Almighty God has expressed so many truths, and as of now, seven volumes of The Word Appears in the Flesh have been published. This proves that the little scroll prophesied in Revelation has been opened. Almighty God has unveiled all the mysteries in the Bible. What is the greatest vision of God’s work, that is, the most crucial truth for knowing God? The aim and mysteries of the three stages of work have all been revealed. Almighty God has explained clearly God’s management plan for saving mankind—the three stages of work. The aim of the three stages of work is to save mankind. In the end, God will perfect a group of people, and this group of people will be the crystallization of God’s salvation of mankind. This group of people will consist entirely of people who know the three stages of God’s work. If Almighty God had not revealed the aim, significance, and mysteries of the three stages of work thoroughly, no one in the religious world would have been able to come to know the three stages of God’s work. No prophet or apostle knew them either. What did they know? They only knew the stage of God’s work that they had accepted. For example, Moses only knew God’s work in the Age of Law. He knew how God had him convey the law and the commandments, but this was all he knew. He did not know that the Lord Jesus would come later to do the work of the Age of Grace. In the Age of Grace, when the Lord Jesus appeared and worked, the apostles and disciples only knew the work of redeeming mankind that God did in the Age of Grace, and no one knew what work God would do in the last days. Therefore, Almighty God has unveiled the mysteries and aim of the three stages of work, the results that God’s three stages of work will ultimately achieve, and who will be perfected. Tell me, are these not the words spoken by the incarnate God? (They are.) Apart from God, no human who has believed in God for many years can say these things, and those who study the Bible are even less capable of doing so. The more people study the Bible, the greater their distortions, and the more people study the Bible, the greater their misunderstandings toward God become.

Do you know what the highest theological theory is? It is the religious world’s characterization of God as the Trinity. When we testify to religious people that there is only one God, that the three stages of work are done by one God, and that there is only one Holy Spirit, and no such thing as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, they immediately deny it, saying, “That’s not right, the Bible says so, and Paul said so.” They do not carefully ponder that the Trinity does not exist at all. They just say, “That’s not right. The Lord Jesus prayed to the Father, so are you trying to say that the Father doesn’t exist? The Holy Spirit testified that the Lord Jesus is the beloved Son of the Father, so are you trying to say that the Son doesn’t exist?” Do you see just how absurd they are? It is recorded in the Bible that someone asked the Lord Jesus, “Show us the Father,” and how did the Lord Jesus respond? “Why are you so muddled, so slow-witted?” “I am in the Father, and the Father in Me” (John 14:11). “I and My Father are one” (John 10:30). Look, religious people cannot explain this, nor can the doctors and graduate students of theology in the religious world. The Trinity is the greatest fallacy of theology in the religious world. God is one. When did God tell you, “I am a triune God”? Jehovah God never said this, nor did the Lord Jesus, nor did the Holy Spirit, and yet religious people believe in the Trinity so firmly, so rigidly. God has exposed that God is not a triune God, and that there is no such thing as distinct persons in God. Before the Lord Jesus came in the Age of Grace, did Jehovah God say, “I am a triune God, I am not just one, and in the future, there will come a Son of God—Jesus, and you must believe in and accept Him”? Did Jehovah God say this? He did not. What is the greatest absurdity of the religious world? How do you think the idea of the Father and the Son came about? It came about after God became incarnate. If God had not become incarnate, God would be one Spirit, one God, and there would be no other ideas on the matter. Before the Lord Jesus came, there was only one God—Jehovah God. Was there the idea of the Father and the Son? (No.) Therefore, this form of address is just an idea that arose temporarily during the incarnation. Before and after the incarnation, this idea did not exist. The religious world linked the Lord Jesus’ prayer to the Father during the incarnation with the Holy Spirit’s testimony: “This is My beloved Son,” and so came to think that They were Father and Son and that God sent the Holy Spirit then, and thus the theory of the “Trinity” appeared. Is this not absurd? (It is.) What is the relationship between God the Father and the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the Father. They are one and the same. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, and the relationship between the Spirit of God and the incarnate flesh of God is not that of Father and Son either. That is a metaphor. The relationship of Father and Son is being used as a metaphor to make things easier for people to understand, but in fact, They are not Father and Son. To be precise, the Spirit of God clothes Himself in flesh and comes. In colloquial terms, it is the Lord of Heaven dividing His being and descending to the mortal world. This is a very simple matter, is it not? (It is.) The Father is the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit and God the Father are one, the Holy Spirit dwells in the Son, and the Son is an embodiment of the Father, and so therefore, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Father, and the Holy Son are one God, one person, one Spirit. When God is not incarnate, He is just a Spirit. The religious world does not understand this matter, and so they characterize God as a Trinity. This is just how absurd they are. Tell me, is this not ridiculous? (It is.) This is the most ridiculous thing ever! If the religious world can be this ridiculous, do they have the ability to comprehend the truth? (No.) Absolutely not. The people of the religious world say, “We believe in the incarnate Lord Jesus, and that the Lord Jesus is the Son.” This is said with great conviction, but do they know the Lord Jesus? (No.) They do not. If the Lord Jesus were to come to the church in His original Jewish appearance and say, “I am the Lord Jesus you believe in,” would they be able to accept this? (They would not.) No, they wouldn’t. They would be astonished, saying, “The Lord Jesus we know has already ascended to heaven. You are not Him. You are an impostor. We must study this.” They would even go so far as to search historical records in Israel from two thousand years ago to see who had seen the Lord Jesus, who had painted a portrait of the Lord Jesus, and where the blood of the Lord Jesus that flowed to the ground was when He was crucified, and they would even dig several feet deep to find it. How long would they have to study to get an answer? They always look for bases in external phenomena, but they overlook the most fundamental point, which is knowing the Spirit of the Lord Jesus. They do not know the disposition of the Spirit of the Lord Jesus, the essence of that Spirit, or the fact that the Lord Jesus can express the truth.
