How to Pursue and Gain the Truth (10)
Fellowship From the Brother Above – September 15, 2025 (Part Seven)
Question 6: When we preach the gospel, we fellowship on and dissect negative propaganda with potential gospel recipients. They say they understand at the time, but when they actually hear negative propaganda, they still block us straight away and stop investigating. I’d like to seek how to dissect negative propaganda in a way that can truly achieve results.
Answer: To resolve these issues, you have to get to the heart of the matter. What is the heart of the matter? You just tell them this, “You believe that the negative propaganda is true, so you’ve stopped investigating and left. What does this mean? It means you’ve lost your chance to attain salvation. You’ll never have the chance to see God’s face again. These truths expressed by Almighty God have nothing to do with you now. You are someone who has betrayed God, and your doom is at hand.” If a person leaves the truths expressed by Almighty God, where else can they be supplied with the truth? Can the religious world supply them with the truth? Can the Bible supply them with the truth? (No.) The Spirit of the Lord Jesus has now become incarnate; He is the Almighty God who expresses the truth. God no longer works under the name “Lord Jesus.” Only Almighty God can express the truth and make people perfect in the last days. No matter how much negative propaganda you’ve heard, and regardless of whether you believe in Almighty God, the truths He expresses are all the utterances and words of God, expressed for mankind’s thorough salvation. If you leave Almighty God, you cannot attain salvation. You believe the negative propaganda, but can it save you? It can’t. Only Almighty God can save you. Whether you acknowledge Almighty God as God or not, you cannot deny the fact that Almighty God can express the truth. You cannot deny the fact that Almighty God has made a group of overcomers. And you also cannot deny the fact that people can attain salvation and be made perfect by accepting all the truths expressed by Almighty God. Since you can’t deny any of these facts, it shows that God’s great work has already been accomplished. And yet, at this very moment, you believe the negative propaganda, leave, stop believing, and even block the person who preached the gospel to you. What does this show? It shows that you have rejected the truth, that you have denied God’s work. You will never have another chance to gain the truth. You have already betrayed the God who expresses the truth; you have been revealed and eliminated. Let me give you another example. The parents of some people in the church were expelled for being antichrists, so they developed notions like, “My dad was the one who preached the gospel to me. You expelled him, so you have no love. This way is wrong, and I won’t believe anymore.” What kind of problem is this? They were capable of leaving, of abandoning their faith, over a single incident—they were revealed. So, have they not been eliminated? (They have.) It’s the same for those who believe negative propaganda and leave Almighty God—they have also been revealed and eliminated! Tell me, what is negative propaganda? Can it abolish God’s work? (No.) Is there any piece of negative propaganda that can deny God’s work or the truths He has expressed? Not a single one. So, whether you believe the negative propaganda or not, the fact is that it has absolutely nothing to do with God’s work. If you deny Almighty God because of one piece of negative propaganda, if you leave The Church of Almighty God and abandon all the truths expressed by Almighty God because of one piece of negative propaganda, you have allowed this negative propaganda to ruin your chance of attaining salvation. Who is to blame for that? Only yourself. Why did this negative propaganda have such an effect on you? Why did you believe it so readily? No matter how firmly you believe the negative propaganda, the words expressed by Almighty God are the truth. Can you deny that fact? No matter how firmly you believe the negative propaganda, the truths expressed by Almighty God have already made a group of overcomers. Can you deny that fact? No matter what negative propaganda you believe, do you dare to condemn Almighty God? If you dare to condemn Almighty God, then a curse will befall you, and you will be condemned by God. Because Almighty God is sinless, and His disposition is righteous and holy, no amount and no type of negative propaganda can erase God’s work or deny all the truths He has expressed. No matter how firmly you believe the negative propaganda, God’s work will continue to move forward, and God will do what He must do. So, what effect can negative propaganda have? It is a knife that can kill you, that can be the end of you. Do you want to be killed by negative propaganda? (No.) If you don’t want it to kill you, then why do you believe it instead of the truths expressed by God? Tell me, was there a lot of negative propaganda when the Lord Jesus was working? (Yes, it was everywhere, in vast volumes.) The devils of Judaism fabricated even more rumors about the Lord Jesus. The people of Judaism never acknowledged that Mary conceived through the Holy Spirit. What does it mean to not acknowledge that the Lord was conceived through the Holy Spirit? It means you’re denying and blaspheming the Lord Jesus! Judaism denied the Lord Jesus’ identity and blasphemed God’s holy essence! But no matter how much Judaism denied and blasphemed the Lord Jesus, He was still God incarnate. Who can deny that fact? No matter how much you deny and blaspheme the Lord Jesus, His gospel has still spread to every country in the world. Can you overturn that fact? No matter how much you deny and blaspheme the Lord Jesus, He is still the one true God, the embodiment of the Creator. Can you erase that truth? No matter how much you deny and blaspheme the Lord Jesus, His Spirit has still returned to the flesh in the last days and is now doing the work of the Age of Kingdom, judging and cleansing people with His words. Can you deny that? Therefore, negative propaganda achieves no real results; it can only deceive and ruin the foolish and ignorant. Is that not the case? Tell me, what effect did all the negative propaganda created by Judaism against the Lord Jesus have? Did it stop the propagation of the gospel of the Age of Grace? No, it didn’t. The gospel of the Lord Jesus is still spreading today; tens of millions of Muslims have turned to the Lord Jesus. How do you explain that? No matter how Satans and devils condemn and blaspheme God, and no matter how much negative propaganda they create to stop people from investigating the true way, all it can do is mislead and ruin those who are foolish and ignorant, those who are muddleheaded, and those who do not love the truth. It is completely useless against those who love and accept the truth; it cannot stop them from turning to Almighty God, nor can it hinder the onward march of God’s work in the slightest. Right? (Yes.) There was a great deal of negative propaganda when the Lord Jesus was working, and there is a lot of it during this stage of Almighty God’s work, too. But however much of it there is, what effect does it have? The kingdom gospel of Almighty God is still spreading to every country in the world. The Church of Almighty God is now established in over one hundred countries. Many people have forsaken their families and jobs to spread the gospel of Almighty God and to follow God’s will. Can you deny that fact? (No.) So, no matter how much negative propaganda there is, it cannot hinder the onward march of God’s work in the slightest. Just as Almighty God says: “The kingdom is expanding in mankind’s midst, it is forming in mankind’s midst, and it is standing up in mankind’s midst; there is no force that can destroy My kingdom” (The Word, Vol. 1. The Appearance and Work of God. God’s Words to the Entire Universe, Chapter 19). “The work of God surges onward like a mighty wave. No one can detain Him, and no one can halt His march” (The Word, Vol. 1. The Appearance and Work of God. Appendix 2: God Holds Sovereignty Over the Fate of All Mankind). No person and no force can hinder God’s work or abolish God’s kingdom. If you can see these facts, what effect can negative propaganda still have? It can have no effect. It can only mislead those who are foolish, ignorant, and do not love the truth.
Right now, the CCP and the religious world are spreading baseless rumors, saying that Almighty God is just an ordinary person. They even pass judgment on Christ’s family and social background. Aren’t the rumors they’ve fabricated utterly absurd? Aren’t they devilish words? People who love the truth and have comprehension ability will absolutely not be misled by these devilish words. Tell me, does the fact that Christ is an ordinary person affect the fact that He is God incarnate? Since God has become incarnate and come to earth, He must have taken on the image of an ordinary person. Could He take on the image of an angel? Could He take on the image of someone with an unknown origin? God incarnate must take on the image of an ordinary person, and of course, an ordinary person has a family, parents, and siblings. This is a fact. But does this affect the fact that He is the incarnate God? Does it affect His ability to express the truth? (It doesn’t.) It doesn’t affect it in the slightest. The Age of Kingdom is not the only age in which God took on the image of an ordinary person: He also did so in the Age of Grace. The Lord Jesus was an ordinary person who also had a family, parents, and siblings. Does the fact that He had a family mean He wasn’t the incarnate God? No, that’s incorrect. God becoming incarnate is God becoming a person on earth—a living, breathing, ordinary person with a family, parents, and siblings. That is a fact. But you can’t say that just because God incarnate has taken on the image of an ordinary person, all ordinary people are God. That would be wrong. Though His image is the same as that of ordinary people, only He can express the truth and do God’s work. Only He is God incarnate; He possesses God’s essence, which no one else does. So, if someone says that Almighty God cannot possibly be God incarnate based on the fact that He has taken on the image of an ordinary person with a family, parents, and siblings, are they correct? (No.) The criterion for determining whether someone is God incarnate is not what kind of family or background the incarnation has, or where He was born. Rather, the criterion is whether He can express the truth. If you assess this one point correctly, that’s enough; nothing else matters. We don’t need to be concerned with what Christ’s parents or siblings are like, whether they are educated, or whether they are believers. We believe in and follow Christ, this incarnate Son of man, based on the facts that He can express so many truths, has the testimony of the Holy Spirit, and is confirmed by God’s words. By doing so, we have hope of gaining the truth and attaining salvation. You cannot gain the truth by believing only in the name of Jehovah God or the Lord Jesus; you can only gain the truth by believing in Almighty God. Is that not the case? (It is.) No matter how much you pray to Jehovah in Judaism, you will not gain the truth. No matter how much you pray to the Lord Jesus in Protestantism or Catholicism, you will not gain the truth. Only by praying to Almighty God and eating and drinking the words of Almighty God can you gain the truth and attain salvation. In believing in God, pursuing the truth is the most practical thing. Can you see this clearly? (Yes.) So, when you are faced with a potential gospel recipient who has been influenced by negative propaganda, you should tell them this, “Negative propaganda is a ticking time bomb. If you believe it, the day of your doom is at hand. In belief in God, we don’t need to study negative propaganda. Just look at this: Is it a fact that Almighty God can express the truth? Is it a fact that Almighty God has already made a group of overcomers? Is it a fact that the kingdom gospel of Almighty God has already spread to over a hundred countries? Do you acknowledge the fact that the truths expressed by Almighty God can save you and make you perfect? If you acknowledge all these things, then don’t believe the negative propaganda. It can’t save you; it can only harm you, ruin you, and kill you. Negative propaganda is an invisible poison, a heinous murderer. It will be your death and your ruin, and it will not be held accountable. Therefore, you must absolutely not believe negative propaganda at any time. If you believe it, your life will be forfeit; you will pay the price with your very life.” If you fellowship thoroughly on the harm and consequences of believing negative propaganda, you will be able to bring some people back.
Question 7: Preaching the gospel in person requires testifying several times in succession. Sometimes, the gospel preachers will wait a while before continuing to testify because of personal matters, which causes the in-person gospel work to progress very slowly. How can we fellowship on this issue to resolve the problems of these gospel preachers?
Answer: When gospel preachers don’t testify earnestly, don’t act with urgency, and delay the gospel work for personal matters, they are being irresponsible and lacking devotion in doing their duty. In such cases, you must fellowship with them on the truth, dissect and expose them, or prune them. Work like preaching the gospel is urgent. It’s best to see it through in one go to be effective. If you delay, you won’t get good results. A potential gospel recipient might have just developed a bit of longing after hearing your sermon, but if you don’t quickly follow up with fellowship, in a few days they will revert to their original state and grow cold again. Is that not the case? (Yes.) Preaching the gospel to save people is our unshirkable duty, and it’s a matter of the utmost urgency. It’s best to see it through in one go, without the slightest delay. So for you to dare to just delay things as you please when you’re testifying—that is a lack of devotion! If we do our utmost to preach the gospel to someone, but they refuse to accept it no matter what and are unwilling to listen to the sermons we preach, then we can only blame our own incompetence. It means we can’t fellowship on the truth to resolve their difficulties, and so we can’t gain them. It’s similar to how some people will not pursue the truth regardless of how church leaders fellowship on it; no matter how you fellowship, they are unwilling to attend gatherings. We are powerless and can only let nature take its course. But if it’s not a case of the potential gospel recipient asking you to stop testifying, but rather a case of you being unwilling to go, a case of you dragging your feet in your duty because you’re afraid of suffering, then what kind of problem is this? This is a lack of devotion in doing your duty. You are not completing the work God has commissioned you with according to His requirements; you just keep putting it off. If you keep putting it off and your work yields no results, you will be eliminated. Let me tell you, every single thing a person does, every minute and every second, is scrutinized and recorded by God. Why are these records kept? God is doing the work of saving mankind, and He wants everyone to be perfectly clear on who, in the end, can attain salvation and who cannot. Ultimately, God will have recorded the reasons why you cannot attain salvation and why you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven very clearly for you, leaving you utterly convinced. Every little thing you do in your daily life is recorded by God. Therefore, the statement that God is righteous is not some vague saying; it has real substance. God works to the greatest extent possible to save every single person, giving everyone the opportunity to do their duty and prepare good deeds. If you lack devotion and drag your feet in your duty, and you neither repent nor submit no matter how God moves, disciplines, or reproaches you, then God will give up on you. Once God gives up on you, your duty performance will not be remembered by God; instead, it will be condemned by Him. Therefore, those who are always dragging their feet in their work and lack devotion will ultimately be eliminated and punished. Some people complain of being tired after doing just a little duty. What are you tired from? Are you more tired than God? God is the One who is truly tired from His work. It is very tiring for God to express so many truths. There are many brothers and sisters now who are devoted in their duties, spending more than ten hours a day preaching the gospel. They are also very busy and tired, but they are still efficient in their duties. You are only doing a little bit of duty, so what makes you think you can just delay things as you please? This is simply being irresponsible and lacking devotion. If your delays stop some potential gospel recipients from returning before God, then they will fall into the great catastrophes when they come. Your delays will have cost them their chance to attain salvation. What kind of problem is this? This is an eternal transgression. You have hindered others from attaining salvation; their lives have been ruined at your hands. Can you escape the blame for this sin? God isn’t directly exposing or judging you right now, but don’t assume you’ll be fine. On the day of your death, God will bring out all these things you’ve done, and He will settle accounts with you. There are also some religious pastors who work and preach within their religion. They appear to labor quite hard, but in reality, it is all hypocrisy. They have misled God’s sheep and ruined many people’s chances of entering the kingdom of heaven. God will settle accounts with them in the future as well. You see, we’ve all heard some extraordinary stories before. Someone died, and their soul saw God in the spiritual realm. God exposed all their manifestations, and when they saw this, they thought, “Oh, I never imagined God was recording everything I did. If I had known, I would have done those things so much better.” God exposed all their manifestations, and appeared to them in the spiritual realm to say, “You cannot die yet. You must go back and convey these words I’ve spoken to you to the people of the world.” This person then came back from the dead and conveyed the words God had spoken to them when He appeared to them in the spiritual realm. They spoke these words with tears in their eyes. What God had exposed was the evidence of them living within their corrupt disposition. They never thought that God’s scrutiny of man was real. So, when a person dies and returns to the spiritual realm, God will expose everything they’ve done in the past. No one can escape this. If you have committed many sins, have resisted God a lot, and haven’t prepared enough good deeds, then your soul will be punished when it returns to the spiritual realm. At that point, it will be too late to repent. What immense pain and torment that will be! There was a sister in Myanmar who died and saw God in the spiritual realm. God spoke to her and exposed her manifestations. When she saw the sins she had committed, she was terrified and filled with remorse. Later, God let her return from the spiritual realm, and after that, she became very cautious in all aspects related to gatherings and her duty. She said, “I can’t be so undisciplined anymore. I can’t treat my faith and my duty so wilfully any longer. The consequences are terrible! When it’s time to suffer, I must suffer. When it’s time to do my duty, I must do my duty. We absolutely have to be devoted!” You see, this sister changed after returning from the spiritual realm. Why? She had seen God, and she had found out that God scrutinizes a person’s every word and action. Therefore, every day and every moment you are doing your duty, every single thing you do and every word you say is being scrutinized by God. When God’s work ends, if you have done too few good deeds and too many evil deeds, you will not be able to account for yourself before God, and you will suffer loss. Don’t wait until you suffer loss to feel regret. It will be useless to regret it then; your outcome will already have been determined. Is that not the case? So, if you can’t move the hearts of these people who lack devotion in their duty no matter how you fellowship the truth with them, what should you do? Just have them watch the testimony of that sister from Myanmar who came back from the dead. Let them know that if they continue to be perfunctory in their duty and don’t cherish the opportunity to prepare good deeds, they will suffer loss. God is never rash in how He determines each person’s outcome; He bases it on every single thing you have done. God is righteous. You cannot see how God is righteous in the human world, but when you die and go to the spiritual realm, you will see that God is indeed righteous. God never makes the slightest error. God is so principled in how He treats people; every little thing is recorded in His book, and nothing is overlooked. This shows you just how earnest and practical God is in His actions, and just how crude, careless, and undisciplined people are in theirs. When people have some knowledge of God’s righteousness and the principles governing His actions, they will be more cautious when they act.
Question 8: When we preach the gospel, we often feel that our words lack power and that we can’t fully convey what we truly felt in our experiences, and so the people who listen to us aren’t moved. How can we preach in a way that is powerful and can move the hearts of potential gospel recipients?
Answer: When people haven’t entered into the truth reality, their words lack power. This is because they only understand some doctrines and haven’t personally experienced the reality of these truths, so of course their words have no power. People without the truth reality don’t even have the ability to express themselves in everyday language. That’s how pitiful people without the truth reality are. Some people ask, “How can we achieve the truth reality?” You must accept and experience God’s judgment and chastisement, and pursue knowledge of God’s disposition and your own corrupt essence. After that, when you talk about the true understanding that comes from your personal experience, your words will be practical and powerful. If you just talk about the words and doctrines you’ve learned, your words will never have any power no matter how you say them. Tell me, do my words have power when I speak to you? (Yes.) Then why do my words have power? (Because, brother, you speak from your true experiences and true understanding. That’s why your words have power.) That’s right. To speak with power, you must have experience; you must enter into the truth reality. There are many brothers and sisters in various countries who have only believed for two to five years. They haven’t entered into the truth reality, so can their words have power? Is speaking with power something you can start doing overnight? If I fellowship on a passage of God’s words with you, will you immediately be able to speak with power? That’s not how it works. It takes time and effort before you can speak with power. Once you understand the truth, have entered into the truth reality, and have a deep experience of the truth, your words will naturally become practical; they will no longer be words and doctrines. If your experience of the truth is too shallow, everything you say will always have an element of doctrine and will always lack power. Also, you can speak with more power when you talk about things you’ve seen with your own eyes or personally experienced. If you’re just repeating what others have said, your words will lack power no matter how you say them. Is there not a difference? (Yes.) So, if you want to speak with power, you must experience God’s work in a down-to-earth way, pursue the truth to know yourself, and then train yourself to express your experiential understanding in everyday language. Then, what you say will be genuine and from the heart, and will be able to move people. However, people who don’t love the truth won’t listen to you no matter how movingly you speak, while people who love the truth will be moved when they hear you. Therefore, the way you speak and the kind of language you use are very important. Never use formal, written language. You must use everyday language and speak the things your heart wants to express the most. So what should you do if someone raises questions you can’t answer? Just find a passage of God’s words for them to read or an experiential testimony video for them to watch. Afterward, they will be moved. This is how you steer the conversation in the right direction. Does doing this get good results? (Yes.) So, the next time you find your own words can’t move someone, just find an experiential testimony video or a movie for them to watch. If they are someone who loves the truth, they will be moved by it. Just use this method to solve the problem.
Question 9: I’ve noticed that the brothers and sisters are not very proactive in preaching the gospel. How should I fellowship with them to get them to actively throw themselves into the gospel work?
Answer: Merely fellowshipping on the truth is of limited use in solving the problem of brothers and sisters not being proactive in preaching the gospel. This is because most people don’t love the truth, and you can’t rouse them to be proactive with just a few words. They have to experience some things or see some facts to be moved. Tell me, when someone is not proactive in preaching the gospel or doing their duty, what state are they in? First of all, they don’t understand the truths regarding visions and can’t see the current situation clearly. Many disasters are now descending, one after another, yet they are still eating, drinking, and making merry. They are oblivious, so they are not vigilant, and they have no motivation in their duty. When an earthquake strikes, they will die in the disaster. When their soul goes to the spiritual realm and sees God, God will say to them, “You didn’t do your duty before. You spent your days eating, drinking, and making merry. You were utterly thoughtless. What makes you qualified to ask Me to bring you into the kingdom of heaven? Depart from Me, I do not know you.” Then they will be cast into hell. This is how things end for those who are idle and do nothing but stuff their faces all day. Tell me, do these people have any resolve? Are they people who attend to their proper work and pursue the truth? (No.) Their doom is imminent, yet they remain oblivious. The great catastrophes have arrived: The Russia-Ukraine war is about to escalate, and nuclear weapons might be used. Once nuclear weapons are used, tell me, will we still be able to gather here? (No.) Once a nuclear war breaks out, we might not even have internet access. Will you still have the chance to attend gatherings and do your duty then? (No.) One day, war might come upon you. You’ll be wounded, lying on a hospital bed close to death, and crying with regret: “Oh God, please let me live a little longer! I want to preach the gospel now, I want to do a little duty to repay Your love, but it’s too late!” This is what it means to weep and gnash your teeth. So, if you can’t suffer and pay a price for God and can’t offer up your devotion while you still have the opportunity and the time to do your duty, do you have any conscience or reason? Are you not utterly thoughtless? (Yes.) How much longer will these good times last? Not much longer. The great catastrophes could strike any day. World wars, great earthquakes, great plagues, great famines, volcanic eruptions—they could happen at any moment. Once these disasters break out, they won’t just affect one country, but several countries, or even an entire continent. Therefore, we don’t have much time left to do our duty or prepare good deeds. If you truly see this situation clearly, you should prepare more good deeds for the sake of attaining salvation and having a good destination. Only then can you be sure of entering the kingdom of heaven. Tell me, are you sure of entering the kingdom of heaven right now? Are you qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven? You’re not even sure yourself, so you must hurry and prepare more good deeds. If you drag your feet and don’t feel any urgency despite getting this precious opportunity to prepare good deeds, and you end up missing your chance and not attaining salvation in the end, who can you blame? To put it bluntly, you’ll have gotten what you deserve. You’ll have no one to blame but yourself for not recognizing the times. What do you think of fellowshipping on this issue in this way? (It’s good.)
