How to Pursue and Gain the Truth (12)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – November 3, 2025 (Part Five)

I will begin answering questions.

I. Questions Regarding the Preaching of the Gospel

Question 1: When we fellowship with potential gospel recipients on the topic of “how to be certain that Almighty God is the Lord Jesus returned in the flesh,” we talk about things like “listening to God’s voice,” “only God can cleanse and save man,” and “only God can express the disposition of God,” and we read God’s words to them. However, after all this, the potential gospel recipients still have doubts. How should we fellowship on this aspect of the truth clearly so that they can be certain that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus?

Answer: On what basis do we verify that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus? This proof is mainly based on the prophecies in the Bible regarding the return of the Son of man. However, most people cannot comprehend this type of prophecy, and so they do not accept it easily. Therefore, we must take up the most powerful evidence that can testify that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus, and fellowship on that. The first most powerful piece of evidence is that Almighty God has expressed so many truths, which exactly fulfills the prophecy of the Lord Jesus: “When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth(John 16:13). This is the greatest and most obvious fact. No one can deny it or overturn it. If you say that the return of the Lord Jesus is the coming of the Son of man, religious people can find excuses to overturn it. They have many reasons not to accept this. They will say, “The Lord Jesus was the Son of man back then, so the return of the Lord Jesus must be the coming of that same flesh of the Lord Jesus, or the coming of the Lord Jesus’ spiritual body.” They will always find reasons to refute you. But if you talk about how the coming of Almighty God fulfills the prophecy of the Lord Jesus that “He, the Spirit of truth, is come,” and that Almighty God has expressed all truths—with the seven volumes of The Word Appears in the Flesh as proof—then this is the best evidence. No one can refute or overturn this. There is another most powerful piece of evidence: the results achieved by Almighty God’s work in the last days. In the last days, Almighty God has expressed the truth to conquer and save all those who yearn for the Lord’s return, and God has long since made a group of overcomers in China. These people have borne strong and resounding testimony for God under the suppression and persecution of the CCP. Now, God’s kingdom gospel has spread from China to countries all over the world. Many people in various countries have also been conquered one after another by God’s words. When they saw that Almighty God has expressed so many truths and done such great work, they became certain that this is the appearance and work of God, and they turned to Almighty God. Today, branches of The Church of Almighty God have been established in over 120 countries. God’s chosen people in countries around the world have also begun to focus on experiencing God’s work. Many are performing their duties and doing their utmost to preach the gospel and testify to God. If it weren’t for God personally working and speaking, who could achieve such great work? Who could make a group of overcomers? Who could conquer so many of God’s chosen people? No one. Only God can achieve such great work and conquer and save so many people. Therefore, the results of Almighty God’s work in the last days are the most powerful factual evidence testifying to God, and they best illustrate that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus. No human can do such great work. No matter how much knowledge or status a person has, or how well they can speak on spiritual theories, they cannot do this work. Only the Spirit of God can do such work. Tell me, how is it that Almighty God is able to achieve such great work? Apart from the fact that Almighty God can express the truth, the main reason for this is that the Spirit of God is working in the church. The Spirit of God has done much work on all those who follow God and yearn for the truth, allowing them to see God’s deeds in their experience and recognize that this is God Himself working to save man. Only then can they sincerely follow God and forsake everything to do their duty. This is the result achieved by God’s words, and even more so by the work of the Holy Spirit. Do you understand this now? Testifying to Almighty God is, first, testifying that God has expressed all the truth, which exactly fulfills the prophecy that “He, the Spirit of truth, is come.” Second, it is testifying to the results achieved by God’s work in the last days. These are the two most powerful pieces of evidence for verifying that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus. Testifying to these two pieces of factual evidence is absolutely critical when preaching the gospel. If you talk about other things when preaching the gospel, people will be half-believing and half-doubting, or remain unconvinced. But if you talk about these two pieces of evidence, anyone who is a wise virgin will become certain that Almighty God’s words are the truth, and that only God can do such great work. Then they will basically be able to accept it. If a potential gospel recipient says, “Almighty God’s normal humanity is entirely ordinary and normal. How can He be God?” then you should ask him, “When God said He would come again as a thief, what did that refer to?” In reality, “as a thief” refers to the fact that the normal humanity of God incarnate is entirely ordinary and normal, and without the slightest element of the supernatural. The more ordinary and normal the humanity of God incarnate is, the more hidden God’s work can be. Therefore, when you testify to someone that God has become incarnate and returned to work, most people will say, “You say God has returned, but where is He? How come I haven’t seen Him?” They cannot see that Christ of the last days, Almighty God, has expressed so many truths. They only see that Almighty God is an ordinary person, so they don’t believe that Almighty God is the incarnate God. People all want to see God’s spiritual body, and people all like to see signs and wonders. As long as they see God’s spiritual body or see God perform signs and wonders, they will immediately accept God even if He doesn’t express the truth. It is only when God becomes incarnate to express the truth in normal humanity that they do not believe in Him. They do not acknowledge that the Son of man who expresses the truth is God, nor do they acknowledge that only God is the truth, the way, and the life, and that only God possesses the way of life. If people do not acknowledge this, then they are blind, foolish, and ignorant.

Question 2: When testifying to the truth of God’s incarnation, we fellowship that God’s incarnate flesh has normal humanity and complete divinity, and we also give examples. But sometimes we fail to grasp the key points and we don’t know what specific results we should achieve or which notions we should resolve. How can we better fellowship on this aspect of the truth?

Answer: To know the incarnate God, there is no need to study whether this flesh is God or man. If you study this flesh, then this is like a scientist trying to study whether God exists or where God is. This is not knowing the incarnate God, but studying God, doubting God, and denying God. This is the practice of a disbeliever. Therefore, no matter how people study this flesh of God, they can never reach an accurate conclusion. So, what study yields a conclusion? It is studying the results achieved by the words expressed by this Son of man. If the words He expresses are the truth, if they can truly cleanse and change people’s corrupt dispositions, if they can truly save and perfect people, and if they can truly cause God’s chosen people from all nations and places to accept and follow Him, then He is indeed the appearance of God in the flesh. This is certain and beyond doubt. What do God’s chosen people around the world rely on to follow Almighty God? They do not rely on studying or seeing God’s flesh. None of them have seen God’s flesh. They rely on all the words expressed from the mouth of the incarnate God to follow Almighty God. They have recognized that these words are the truth, so they believe that Almighty God is God and Christ, and they accept and follow Almighty God. Is this not so? (It is.) If people read Almighty God’s words earnestly, truly understand them, and are certain that these words come from God and are the truth, and they then look at the experiential testimonies of God’s chosen people, they will pretty much be clear about whether Almighty God is the appearance of God and whether this is God’s work. If you still hold to the view that “God’s return must be in a spiritual body, and as long as we have not seen God’s spiritual body descend, then God has not come,” then you are wrong. If you insist on seeing God’s spiritual body before you believe in Him, and will never believe when you see that God has returned in the flesh, then you are a disbeliever, a foolish virgin, and a blind person who does not know God. When the Lord Jesus appeared and worked, many people did not believe in the Lord either, and they always doubted the Lord Jesus. They only believed in Him after He was resurrected from the dead and His image changed. Can such people receive the Lord’s approval? (No.) They cannot. The Lord said: “Because you have seen Me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed(John 20:29). What does the Lord mean by this? This means that if you insist on waiting for God’s spiritual body to descend, waiting until you see God’s spiritual body before you believe, then you will be cursed and punished by God. Only when people choose to believe in and follow God upon seeing God incarnate speak and work in normal humanity do they possess true faith. God says that such people are blessed. What is meant by “blessed” here? This refers to the blessing of entering the kingdom of heaven and gaining eternal life. The key to fellowshipping on the truth of the incarnation is to fellowship clearly on these words, enabling people to accept the Son of man who expresses the truth.

Question 3: Some Catholic potential gospel recipients acknowledge that God’s return is in the form of the incarnation, but they believe that God’s return should still be in the flesh of the Lord Jesus. They do not understand why God has returned in a new flesh. How should we fellowship with them to resolve this?

Answer: How God comes in the last days and the kind of flesh He wears is God’s own work. Can humans make demands of or delimit this? Humans have no right to make demands of this, much less to delimit it. How God works is His own business. As a human, and as a created being, you must have reason. When you do not understand something, pray, seek, and submit more. Never delimit God based on human notions and imaginings. If you rely on your own notions and imaginings and think, “I will only accept it if God’s return is in a spiritual body. I will only accept it if God descends on a cloud,” then by delimiting God in this way, you have hindered yourself and brought ruin upon yourself. Humans have no right to delimit God. Man’s duty is to seek, investigate, accept, and submit. This is what is right. Only when people possess such an attitude are they considered to have reason. The way in which God comes in the last days and the flesh He wears is not something humans should interfere with. What’s crucial right now is that regardless of how God comes in the last days, if you cannot welcome God’s return, you are in danger, and your outcome will be one of destruction. Is it not the height of stupidity for a person on the verge of destruction to still make demands of God and delimit God? Is this a good answer to this question? (Yes.)

Question 4: Some potential gospel recipients feel that they have gained something from our preaching and are willing to continue listening, but they still tend to idolize pastors. Although we have talked to them about who they should listen to when welcoming the Lord and what it means to follow God versus following man, after we testify to them about Almighty God, they still go and ask their pastors, and then they stop coming to sermons. I would like to seek the brother’s advice on this matter. What truths do we need to talk about with such people for them to be able to stand firm?

Answer: These people always idolize pastors and listen to them in everything. Are they wise? (No.) They are foolish virgins, and the outcome of foolish virgins is to be abandoned and eliminated. Is there any method or path to turn a foolish virgin into a wise virgin? (No.) Some people say, “He also believes in the Lord. If I help him out of love, will he be able to accept God’s work?” Then you can try to help them. Read more of Almighty God’s words to them. If, after listening to Almighty God’s words, something clicks inside them and they can acknowledge that Almighty God’s words are the truth and the utterances of the Spirit of God, then there is still hope of saving them. But if they cannot listen no matter how many passages of God’s words you read to them, and they do not feel that these words are the truth, then they are beyond hope, and you do not need to spend any more effort on them.

Question 5: Some potential gospel recipients are active when listening to sermons and are willing to attend gatherings, but after joining our church, they gradually stop attending gatherings. We feel this is because our words lack impact when we testify to them, and because we speak too few words that are critical and key, leading to some truths not being fellowshipped clearly. I would like to seek the brother’s advice on this. How can we train gospel preachers to increase the impact of their words?

Answer: Generally speaking, if a person has attended seven or eight gatherings and can confirm that the truths expressed by Almighty God come from God, and they are willing to join the church, then it shows that the gospel preacher has already explained things quite clearly. If things were explained quite clearly, and the potential gospel recipient accepted them at the time, but after joining the church and attending gatherings for a while, they stop attending, what is the problem here? What is the crux of this problem? Is it that the gospel preacher did not fellowship clearly, or is it that this individual does not love the truth? (They don’t love the truth.) Would speaking some impactful words to such a person work? (No.) Just look at all the antichrists who have been expelled from God’s house over the years. Some had believed for ten or twenty years, and others had believed for a short time but at least five or six years. Why were they revealed and eliminated? They’d listened to quite a few sermons, so why did they still walk the path of an antichrist after listening to so many sermons? Why did they still mislead people and disrupt and disturb the work of God’s house? This is a problem of their nature. Is this not so? (It is.) Their nature does not love the truth and is averse to the truth. No matter who fellowships on the truth with them, their problem cannot be resolved, nor can they be changed. It is useless no matter what is said. I have preached in God’s house for so many years and I have said so much, yet I cannot stop those antichrists from walking the path of an antichrist. There are so many people who don’t pursue the truth, and they just keep refusing to pursue it. No matter how much I say, it has no effect on them. What is going on here? (Their nature does not love the truth.) They simply do not love the truth. If they truly loved the truth, they would largely be able to confirm the true way just by reading God’s words themselves, and they would be willing to read more of God’s words on their own. This is particularly true for some newcomers—as soon as they see that God’s words are so fresh and full of light and truth, they read them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness. They read these words every day, getting through dozens of pages each day. But some people are unwilling to read God’s words. What is the problem? This is a problem of nature: Their nature does not love the truth. Then for those who do not love the truth, would it be effective if you said some impactful words? Would this save their lives? I’m afraid not. Over the years, the words I have spoken have sometimes been quite severe, but they have had absolutely no effect on these antichrists, evil people, and people who do not love the truth. Whatever you say to these people is useless. Even if people who truly love the truth have doubts and notions, they will continue to seek and investigate after pondering for a while. Even if they are heavily entangled by their family and flesh, they can still find time to attend gatherings. They wouldn’t just give up and stop believing. Therefore, for anyone who admits that this is the true way after hearing testimony but stops believing nonetheless, there is only one reason for their disbelief, which is that they do not love the truth and are averse to the truth. There is no other explanation. So, can increasing the impact of your words solve this problem? Can it make people who do not love the truth love the truth? This is not possible. God’s words have the most authority and power. No matter how well we humans speak, the things we say cannot compare to the words of God. In their nature, such a person does not love the truth or even accept God’s words, so the words of us humans are even more useless. Is this not correct? (It is.) Perhaps you say a few impactful words and they feel a bit moved at the time, and they stay in the church for a couple more days, but after a few days, once this feeling fades, they will go back to being disbelievers just as before. Look at the nonbelieving relatives in the families of brothers and sisters—have they heard God’s words any less? No. Some husbands do not believe in God, and despite their wives earnestly testifying to them about God for several years, they still do not believe. What is going on here? It is that they simply do not love the truth. Therefore, there is a problem here that you must see clearly, that is, the people who are chosen by God and will be able to turn to God have all been predestined by God. God has also long since preordained which people are of Satan, which field of the world they belong to—such as the scientific community or the intellectual community—or which religion they belong to—such as Buddhism, Taoism, or Islam. Man cannot change these things. Therefore, this is not a problem that can be solved by speaking impactful words. Some people from the Three-Self Church say, “Let’s pray for the CCP government and preach the gospel to high officials. Maybe they will gradually turn to God too.” Is this correct? (No.) Then how are they wrong? (They cannot see through to the essence of the great red dragon. The great red dragon is the devil Satan, and it is impossible for it to accept the truth.) That is one aspect. In addition, whoever is of Satan will ultimately return to Satan. This is all preordained by God. Can man change this? (No.) Those who are associated with false gods and those who are chosen by the true God have also been preordained by God and no one can change it. Although God asks us to preach the gospel and follow His will, if you encounter someone whom God has preordained to be of Satan, no matter how you fellowship on the truth with them, it will be useless. You cannot bring them into the church. If you can bring someone into the church, then this person must be predestined by God, and God has permitted them to believe in Him. Is this understood? (Yes.) You must see this matter clearly. If you don’t, you will be prone to doing foolish things.

Question 6: Some potential gospel recipients have looked up our church online before we testified that God has returned. They ask, “Are you from The Church of Almighty God? Is the Christ you believe in female?” What is the appropriate way to respond? What can we say to get them to stay?

Answer: You have misgivings about this question, and you don’t know whether it is better to say “yes” or “no.” Think about it: If you say “no,” will they stay and keep listening to the sermons? Saying “no” won’t keep them around, right? (Right.) What if you say “yes”? This is the truth, but if you say this, they might not continue to seek and investigate, right? (Right.) Then what should you say in this situation? Is it better to say “yes” or “no”? (We should avoid answering them directly at first.) Wrong. We should just say “yes.” If they are willing to investigate, they can stay and listen, but if not, they can leave. Handling this matter like this is fine. Isn’t this simple? (It is.) What are the consequences of you saying “no”? They will say, “You are full of lies! I’ve known that you’re from The Church of Almighty God for ages!” Even if they don’t figure this out initially, when you testify to Almighty God later, they will say, “Didn’t you say before you weren’t from The Church of Almighty God? How come you are now?” Then you will have a hard time explaining yourself. Is this not the case? (It is.) So just tell them the truth. It’s that simple.
