Fellowship From the Brother Above – August 1, 2025 (Part Three)

Some people, having just accepted Almighty God, see that there are so many of His words, that The Word Appears in the Flesh is already up to its seventh volume, and they become anxious and worried. “Oh dear, there are so many truths; when will I ever be able to finish reading them? When will I ever be able to finish experiencing them? Why is believing in God so difficult!” They immediately become negative. Where does the foolishness of such people lie? They cannot see through things, and they always characterize this matter based on their notions and imaginings. In the last days, Almighty God expresses the truth. This is the first time that the Creator has spoken so openly to all of mankind. That God has expressed so many truths is to let people know His intentions, His requirements for man, and His expectations for man. The Creator wants to speak to those who long for the truth. That God has spoken so many words and expressed so many truths is to let you know this fact, and He has not required you to completely understand and live out these truths. You must understand the Creator’s intentions. The Creator has so many words to say to mankind, and He still hasn’t finished speaking. So is it not true that there are still many words that God has not spoken? (It is.) There are so many words that God has not spoken. Then why has God not spoken these words? Because many words would be beyond people’s reach even if they were spoken, and if God spoke too many, people would feel even more discouraged, hopeless, negative, and weak. Therefore, God has not spoken words that are beyond people’s reach. As you can see, God has not spoken about how He created the heavens and earth and all things. If He had spoken about this to people, it would be beyond human capacities! Those words would be far, far higher than any scientific knowledge, and they would be beyond people’s reach, right? (They would.) How did God create light with just one word? How did He create the earth with just one word? The earth has so much water, so many mountains, and so much soil. How did they come together and not fall apart? How can they float and move in the universe? If God were to speak of all the wisdom and almightiness of God in this, people would not be able to grasp it. You would not understand even if you heard it. God’s life, God’s power, and God’s wisdom are forever unfathomable to man. If God were to speak of all these things, could the earth contain them? It could not, so you would be even less able to grasp them. Therefore, these words spoken by Almighty God in the last days are all the truths that people need to be saved. For God to express these words is sufficient to cleanse and save corrupt mankind, and it can completely achieve this result. If you want to cast off your corrupt disposition, it is enough to eat and drink, experience, and practice these words of God. It is guaranteed that you can be cleansed and achieve true change. If you want to know God, reading these words is also enough. This will absolutely enable you to know God. If you want to love God to the extreme and submit unto death, reading these words is also enough. Peter did not hear so many sermons, yet he achieved this. How much more can we, who have heard so many sermons, achieve this? Therefore, people must have a correct understanding, which is that Almighty God has so many words to say to people in the last days. These are all the heartfelt words that God speaks to mankind, and they are all the truths that God will lead man to enter into. The more of God’s words you read, the more of God’s words you will understand, and the more beneficial it will be for your salvation, and for your knowing and submitting to God. Then can you benefit from reading the books of nonbelievers and learning of culture and knowledge? (No.) Not only will you not gain any benefits from reading too many of those books, but many of Satan’s poisons will also be planted within you. Why do I say this? (Because in the books of nonbelievers, there are many things that teach people how to be selfish and despicable, and how to rebel against and resist God, such as “Every man for himself and the devil take the hindmost” and “A person’s destiny is in their own hands.” These are all poisons of Satan, so the more of the books of nonbelievers one reads, the more of Satan’s poisons a person will have within them.) Then what is the consequence of reading the books of nonbelievers? It can only make people move further and further away from God, and become more and more inclined to deny and resist God. In the end, people will perish just like Satan. This is the first consequence of reading the books of nonbelievers. The second is that after people have read the books of Satan and learned the various kinds of culture and knowledge of the world, their corrupt dispositions become more and more numerous. What are the manifestations of having more and more corrupt dispositions? There is a famous saying among nonbelievers, “There are no permanent friends, only permanent interests.” This makes people put interests above everything else, so all of mankind, whether Eastern or Western, puts interests above everything else. They measure everything they do by interests, and as long as they can gain benefits, they can do any evil thing. For the sake of interests, people have struggled, slaughtered, and even waged war. Tell me, are wars not caused by fighting over interests and territory? (They are.) The human race, for the sake of interests, for the sake of forever controlling a nation or a country, and to prevent other nations and foreigners from invading, has launched various wars, bringing great disasters upon mankind. It can be said that wherever there is war, there are bodies strewn all over, and countless deaths and injuries. Various countries are even researching nuclear weapons to hold onto their power. Once nuclear weapons are used on the battlefield, the entire human race will be at risk of destruction. Look, this is the point that the human race, which puts interests above all, has reached. Therefore, the consequence of learning the culture and knowledge of nonbelievers is to become more and more worshipful of interests, more and more selfish and despicable, and in the end, to put interests above everything else. In people’s hearts, relatives and friends aren’t as important as interests. People believe that to gain interests is to gain everything, and to lose interests is to lose everything. Is this not Satan’s logic? (It is.) This has led the entire human race to lose their conscience and reason. For the sake of interests, they reject the truth and reject moral justice, and are of Satan’s ilk. The culture and knowledge of nonbelievers have turned people into this. Then what do we feel now that we have read the words of the Creator? “These words are all the truth. If we had read these words from childhood, would we have avoided being corrupted by Satan? Would we have so many satanic philosophies and poisons? It is a pity that I lived for so many years before I encountered God and read these words. If I had read these words from childhood, how much truth would I have understood by now, how many fewer bad things would I have done, how much less evil would I have committed, how many fewer detours would I have taken, and how much time would I have saved!” Do people have this feeling? (Yes.) God’s words are truly precious. Every word of God is the truth. The truth is eternal life. If you gain the truth, you will never die. What does it mean to never die? Your soul will never die. The life of the flesh will end, and the soul will move to a better place, that is to say, heaven, the kingdom of heaven. The souls of men will live there forever. Tell me, is it happier to live as a spiritual body or as a physical body? (As a spiritual body.) Once a person who believes in God has gained the truth, even if they die, that death is not a true death. They have been taken back by God to live in the kingdom of heaven, and they live in a more beautiful realm. This is truly blissful. Do not think that a person can live forever in the flesh. The flesh cannot live forever. When the flesh reaches a certain age, it becomes limited. The internal organs age, the memory declines, the senses dull, and the legs and feet become less agile when walking. Is that not so? (It is.) Therefore, when a person ultimately gains eternal life, it does not mean that their flesh will live forever and not die, but that their soul will live forever in the kingdom of heaven. Just like Peter, who was crucified upside down for God. That way of death was very painful, but his soul was in the kingdom of God in the end, and returned to God. Peter was originally from God, and his soul was a soul of the kingdom of God, the soul of an angel. People who come from God love the truth and like to submit to God. They come to the human world to fulfill God’s commission and to bear witness for God, and in the end, they must be saved and return to God. But some people come from hell. They are devils, they are Satans, and they have come specifically to disturb and destroy God’s work. In the end, they must return to hell. Is this matter clear now? (Yes.)

Some people say, “I also want to pursue the truth, but time is so pressing. How can I pursue the truth and come to live out the truth reality?” To be qualified to survive, a person must at least possess the truth reality in the three aspects I just mentioned. To achieve this result, one must have a path. Let’s fellowship on this path. The first method of practice for pursuing the truth is to read more of God’s words and to pray more to God and seek from God. God’s words can resolve all of man’s notions, problems, and difficulties. Many people’s notions, imaginings, problems, difficulties, deviations, and absurdities are directly resolved by reading God’s words. Is this not true? (It is.) It is true. Look at some religious people—their notions are resolved by reading God’s words. When they first start reading God’s words, they may not immediately find the words of God that can resolve their notions, but perhaps after reading for many days, they read a passage of God’s words that happens to resolve their notions. Or, our gospel workers find out what religious notions they have and find a few passages of God’s words for them. After they read them, their notions are resolved. This is how some people are now; by reading God’s words, they resolve their own notions and problems, and they don’t even need others to fellowship with them. These are people with comprehension ability. Look at some people in the religious world who used to judge and condemn God’s work. Later, they are left dumbstruck. Why? Because we have been constantly putting God’s words, movies and videos that testify to God, and experiential testimonies of God’s chosen people online for all to see. Tell me, can those who always want to study and condemn Eastern Lightning not read and watch this content? They cannot help but read and watch these things; human curiosity is too strong. They secretly read and watch these things, and as a result, after reading many of Almighty God’s words, they are left dumbstruck. “The words of Almighty God are much clearer and more specific than the words in the Bible. They have resolved many of my problems. The words in the Bible are so vague and monotonous. Almighty God has expressed so many words that no human could speak. Could these be the words of God?” Tell me, if they have come to this conclusion, do they still dare to condemn God? Do they still dare to deny that these are the words of God? They do not dare to deny it. At the very least, they can acknowledge that these words come from the Holy Spirit, that they cannot be spoken by a human. Therefore, ever since Almighty God’s words have been made publicly available online, and the movies and experiential testimony videos of God’s house are also constantly being uploaded online, the religious world has become more and more silent, and many people have begun to feel ashamed. Many pastors can no longer supply people in their sermons, and very soon, they will be unable to maintain their churches. In order to mislead believers into continuing to believe in the church, so that people will continue to offer money to support them, they come to investigate the true way. In fact, they are just trying to steal the way from the words of Almighty God, and then return to their churches and turn the words of Almighty God into their own words to preach to believers. In this way, when they preach again, they will have new things to say. The believers under them have not investigated the true way, and they do not know that the way they are preaching is stolen. They think, “This pastor now understands the truth. His sermons have light, and they are also quite practical. How could he have made such great progress in such a short time?” The believers’ mood in listening to the sermons lifts somewhat, and the gatherings become a little more normal. Look, the little bit of the way they have stolen can bring light to the believers. Is this not a result achieved by God’s words? (It is.) The words of Almighty God have all been made publicly available online and have long since spread to all countries and places in the world. Tell me, can this world not be gradually changed by the influence of God’s words? (It absolutely can!) I have seen that some pastors and preachers in the religious world have begun to learn to speak God’s words. Perhaps there are many people in the religious world who long for the truth and are also investigating God’s words. They also want to gain something from God’s words. This shows that many people in the religious world have also begun to focus on reading the words of Almighty God. In the future, the positive figures in all the countries of the world will all seek to be honest people, to fear God and shun evil, and to submit to and worship God. This is the general trend, and slowly, this world will become saturated with God’s words. Those who hate and resist the truth will be successively destroyed as the disasters descend, and the remaining mankind will all be those who can accept the watering and shepherding of God’s words, a group of people who have been gained by God’s words. This is sufficient to prove that God’s words can conquer everything, accomplish everything, and change everything. Therefore, the first path of practice for pursuing the truth is through reading God’s words. As long as you read more of God’s words, many of your notions and problems can be resolved. Do you believe this fact? (Yes.) As for the problems you have raised in this gathering, can they be resolved by reading God’s words? (They can.) All of man’s problems can be resolved by reading God’s words. This is certain. The words of Almighty God can resolve all of man’s problems. It is just that the time for resolution may be earlier or later. Some simple problems are resolved earlier, and some problems involve deeper truths that are not something people can understand immediately after reading God’s words. This requires people to ponder and fellowship on God’s words and to experience for a period of time before they can be resolved. In short, no matter what problem it is, it can ultimately be resolved by reading God’s words. Therefore, reading the words of Almighty God to pursue the truth is truly important. This is listed as the first path of practice for pursuing and gaining the truth.

Second, gain the truth through experiencing God’s work. Reading God’s words and experiencing God’s work have something in common, which is that one must experience judgment and chastisement. To read God’s words is to accept the judgment of His words, and to experience God’s work is to accept the judgment of the occurrence of facts, that is, to accept the judgment that comes in one’s experience. Tell me, which judgments do people encounter in their experience? Pruning is encountered in experience, as well as trials, refinement, chastening, and discipline. The advent of these various situations, people, events, and things is to let one experience, appreciate, and know God’s work, and to learn to submit to God’s orchestrations and arrangements. God uses these situations to judge, cleanse, and save people. You must accept and experience these things. If you do not experience these things, you will not gain the truth, and your corrupt disposition will never be cleansed or changed. Therefore, the path of experiencing God’s work is truly realistic and practical, and it can be listed as the second important path for pursuing the truth. Some people do not experience God’s work. They say, “To pursue the truth, it is enough for me to just read God’s words. I accept the judgment and chastisement of God’s words, and I also accept the exposure and characterization of me by God’s words. But in real life, I do not accept pruning when it comes upon me, I do not accept chastening and discipline when it comes upon me, and I do not accept various trials and refinements when they come upon me.” Such a person only accepts some truths by reading God’s words, but in a real situation, they do not experience God’s work and still live by satanic philosophies. Tell me, can they come to be cleansed and perfected? (No.) Then is this way of believing in God correct or wrong? (It is wrong.) Are there such people in the church? (Yes.) False leaders and false workers are like this. They do not experience God’s work, and they do not accept God’s judgment and chastisement, pruning, or trials and refinement at all. When I prune, expose, and dissect some people, what do they say in return? They say, “I believe in God!” Tell me, what do these words mean? (It means that the One they believe in isn’t a human. If any human prunes them, they will not listen.) That is what they mean. Then are they experiencing God’s work? (No.) They do not even accept simple pruning, so can they accept trials and refinement? (No.) They certainly cannot accept these things either. Their belief in God just consists of reading some of God’s words, but they do not experience God’s work. Then they have no hope of gaining the truth and being saved, and in the end, they will have to be eliminated. Tell me, are people who do not experience God’s work people who truly submit to God? (No.) If you don’t even accept pruning, and you don’t accept trials and refinement either, you have no submission to God at all. What does true submission to God refer to? First of all, you must be able to accept God’s judgment and chastisement. God’s judgment and chastisement include the judgment of God’s words and the judgment of the occurrence of facts, that is, various kinds of pruning, chastening and discipline, and trials and refinement. These are the two ways of judgment and chastisement. If a person does not have actual testimony of submitting to God in trials and refinement, and they cannot accept and submit when they are pruned, and instead they constantly resist and argue, then they do not submit to God. Tell me, if a person doesn’t accept pruning from a human, can they accept it if God directly prunes them? (No.) When they see God pruning them, perhaps they won’t argue or resist on the outside, or they may even say some nice-sounding words to show their willingness to accept this, but are the acceptance and submission in their heart true? (No.) They are forced to bow their head before status, but in fact, they remain defiant in their heart. If they accept the truth and submit to God from their heart, then no matter who prunes them, they will treat it correctly. What does it mean to treat it correctly? They will seek from people, “You have pruned me in this way, but I am a bit unsure if it conforms to the facts. Can you fellowship with me about it?” If they explain it clearly to them, and they see that what they have said is right and completely in line with the truth, they will be able to accept it and say, “The words you have used to prune me are truly good. They come from God and are all in accordance with the truth. I completely accept them, and I thank you for your help. This is true love.” If a person can treat pruning in this way, then they are able to submit to the truth. Submitting to God is built on the foundation of submitting to the truth. Only when you have actual testimony of submitting to the truth, and can submit to anyone’s words as long as they are in line with the truth, are you a person who submits to God. If you cannot submit to the truth, even if you say you want to submit to God, what you are doing is just submitting to status and power, not truly submitting to God. Is that not so? (It is.) Then how does one measure whether a person submits to God? (By looking at their attitude when they encounter pruning, trials, and refinement, and whether they can accept these things from God and truly submit.) It is mainly based on their attitude toward the truth. If they can absolutely submit to the truth, and no matter who says the words of pruning, as long as they are in line with the truth, they can accept and submit, then such a person truly submits to God. Can you discern like this? Suppose a person usually cannot submit to the truth, and does not accept what anyone says that is right, and even if there is one person’s words that he can accept, it is because this person has status, is his immediate superior and his leader, so he has no choice but to accept it, but if it is the words of a young brother or sister with no status, he will absolutely not accept them. Then tell me, does this person submit to the truth? (No.) For such a person, if he says, “Although I do not accept the words of man, I accept what God says. Even if the words of God are not the truth, I will accept them,” does this statement conform to the facts? This is an empty theory, a notion and imagining. You do not even accept the words of man that are in line with the truth, yet you say that even if the words of God are not the truth, you will accept them. Are you not deceiving people? Even if you can truly accept them, it can only show that you are submitting to God’s status and authority, not to God Himself, and not to the truth. You listen to whoever has status. Whatever a person with status says, you listen. But no matter how much the words of a person with no status are in line with the truth, you do not listen. You do not have true submission, and you are still of Satan. Therefore, you must accept and experience God’s work. Only when a person has the reality of experiencing God’s judgment and chastisement can they achieve true submission to God.

To pursue the truth, one must first rely on reading God’s words, praying more to God, and seeking His guidance. Second, one must rely on experiencing God’s work. There are many details involved in experiencing God’s work. You must accept the judgment and chastisement of God’s words, as well as the matters of pruning, trials, and refinement of facts coming upon you. In this way, your life will grow quickly. If you only focus your energy on reading God’s words, you will only gain a part of the truth. If you also focus on experiencing God’s work, you will be able to gain more of the truth. There is also another point, which is to learn lessons from the people, events, and things that befall you. Let me tell you, in any person, event, or thing that befalls us, there is truth to be sought and lessons to be learned. If you can learn lessons from the various people, events, and things that befall you, then the truths you gain will be rich beyond comparison, because your experience will be truly rich. If you grasp this one point, then you will be able to learn lessons in every matter, even from your family members. What lessons will you learn? “What lesson does God want me to learn by arranging such a family for me? Why is my spouse like this? Why do they have this kind of personality and character?” You see, there are lessons to be learned here. You just need to seek the truth in all things, and then your life will grow very quickly.

We just summarized three ways to pursue the truth: First, read more of God’s words, and pray more to God and seek His guidance; second, experience God’s work; third, learn lessons from all the people, events, and things that befall you. In addition, a fourth point must be added, which is to do more of one’s duty. These four paths of practice are of the utmost importance. If you practice according to these four paths, you will be able to gain many truths in a short period of time. What you gain will be very rich, and you will be able to be saved and survive. Even if you have believed in God for a short time, as long as you have some testimonies of experiencing God’s judgment and chastisement, and testimonies of doing your duty, you will be accepted by God and survive. These four paths of practice are absolutely crucial for a person to be saved. They can be thought of as the secret and key to believing in God! Is that understood? (Yes.)
