How to Pursue and Gain the Truth (8)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – August 15, 2025 (Part Three)

This stage of God’s work in the last days has a beginning and an end. The “beginning” refers to when God appears to do His work and begins to speak His words—this is when God’s work begins. The “end” refers to the moment the great catastrophes that will destroy humankind begin, which is when God’s work ends. The great catastrophes will arrive when God’s work ends. At that time, we won’t be able to gather online, and even if we want to hear God’s words or listen to sermons and fellowship, we won’t be able to. Even if I want to hold a gathering for you, I won’t be able to. This is the end of the work. Do you understand? (Yes.) We can still hold gatherings now, but the disasters will gradually grow greater from now on. Before long, the entire world may be transformed, and at that time, God’s work will end. Think about it: Is there still a long time from now until the disasters become so great that we can no longer have gatherings online? (No, there isn’t.) Indeed it is not. It won’t take three to five years; it might even be in the next year or two. So, the time left for people to pursue the truth is truly not long. So in this situation, how should people urgently pursue the truth? To do so, whether you are reading God’s words, listening to sermons or gathering, as soon as you understand the truth, you must quickly put it into practice, and if you don’t understand the truth, you must quickly pray and seek. Don’t be arrogant or self-righteous, and don’t cling to your own set of experiences and notions. This is very dangerous. Remember this! As soon as you understand the truth, quickly put it into practice, and if you don’t understand the truth, quickly pray and seek. This is the right way. If you are a leader or worker, you should also have a God-fearing heart. In what way does a God-fearing heart manifest? There are some details to explain on this matter. First, you must know that the work you are doing is the work of God’s house. Is the work of God’s house your personal property? (No.) No, it is not. You must absolutely not think of trying to reign sovereign or have the final say. You must be of one heart and mind with your brothers and sisters, cooperate harmoniously, and perform the work according to God’s requirements. This is what it means to serve God. If you perform your work based on your own will, your own experience, or your own notions and imaginings, then this is not doing your duty. This is acting arbitrarily, willfully, and based on a corrupt disposition. Once you see this matter clearly, you will be able to take God’s words as your guide and basis in all things in your duty, and you will be able to submit to God, satisfy God, and consider God’s intentions. Putting consideration for God’s intentions into practice means doing things according to God’s requirements. You must absolutely not act according to your notions and imaginings. This is what it means to consider God’s intentions. The first thing people who consider God’s intentions do after becoming leaders is to seek the truth and do their duty according to God’s words. They say, “I must lead God’s chosen people in reading God’s words every day, I must lead God’s chosen people in fellowshipping on the truth and doing their duty every day, and I must do everything based on God’s words.” These are people who consider God’s intentions. The specific manifestation of being considerate of God’s intentions is doing one’s duty and performing work according to God’s requirements. But for some people, as soon as they start working, they cast God’s requirements to the winds, and their notions and imaginings come to reign sovereign and have the final say in their hearts. Isn’t this very troublesome? (It is.) It is not in accordance with God’s intentions for people to always want to do things according to their notions and imaginings. Such people are false leaders and antichrists. What is the first thing these people think of after becoming leaders? “I’ve become a leader, so now I’m the boss of the church. In this church, I will be gracious to whoever listens to me, and I will squash whoever defies me or tries to act tough underfoot. I must subdue all these people and make them all listen to me and submit to me. Only then will I have done my work well.” Is this view correct? (No.) So what is the nature of this kind of intention? (They are cultivating their own forces, excluding those who have differing views from them, suppressing people, and tormenting people.) This kind of intention is of a satanic disposition. When a satanic disposition reigns sovereign over a person’s heart, they will have such behavior. False leaders and antichrists often do things this way. What do other people start by doing when they become leaders? They first seize control of the church’s finances. They say, “I am the leader now, so you must listen to me. All the money you offer must be handed over to me, it must be under my management, and I must be responsible for it. I don’t feel at ease if others are in charge.” As soon as this person becomes a leader, they start by seizing the money. Are they right people? (No.) What is wrong with them? (They harbor improper intentions and they want to seize God’s offerings.) This kind of person harbors improper intentions. They don’t perform their work according to God’s requirements, they don’t lead God’s chosen people to experience God’s judgment and chastisement, and they don’t lead God’s chosen people to understand the truth and enter into reality to achieve salvation. Instead, they seize on money and status. Is this not being wicked? (It is.) This is just like the Communist Party. Once the Communist Party’s power grows and it controls a country, what does it want to do? It does not lead the people of that country onto the right path, and it does not let the people of that country learn how to conduct themselves, how to live, or how to accept the truth and worship God. This is not the work that it does. It will only control people, only seek benefits for itself, and only ride on the heads of the people and act tyrannically. It says, “Though today I control one country, that is far from enough. I want to control the whole world. I want the people of all countries in the world to worship me and submit to my power. I don’t care how you live; even if you have to work like beasts of burden, you must submit to me.” These are the ambitions and desires behind the Communist Party’s rule. Thus are its practices and the path it walks. They are devils and Satan made manifest. The Communist Party is a demonic cabal. Is that not the case? (It is.) So now that you have become a leader, what path will you walk? What specific work will you do, and what results will you achieve? How will you think, plan, and arrange things? I believe that everyone has their own ideas, their own plans, and their own path to choose in their hearts. But have you reflected on whether your thoughts, your plans, and your arrangements are in accordance with the truth and God’s intentions? If you have not reflected on this, then the path you walk is not necessarily the right one. Let me tell you what I thought when I accepted God’s commission. Before accepting God’s commission, I saw some religious leaders who did not do real work. Every time they went to a place for a gathering, they would just give a few sermons and then be done. But really, what problems could the doctrines they preached solve? They couldn’t solve anything. They just preached some biblical knowledge, which was of no use at all. So why did they preach? They did so to show off, to have people see that they understood the Bible and were qualified to preach. I saw that they were just packaging themselves with empty theories, just like the Communist Party arming their mouths with Marxism-Leninism to deceive and mislead people, without any reality at all. In addition, they did not prepare books of God’s words for the brothers and sisters to eat and drink from. The brothers and sisters had to buy their own Bibles, and the leaders didn’t come with Bibles prepared for them. Also, spiritual books like those by Watchman Nee and Witness Lee were treasures at that time and were very beneficial to people’s belief in the Lord, but these religious leaders only read these texts themselves and then drew on them to show off, not letting the brothers and sisters read them. They didn’t even prepare hymnbooks for them, so most brothers and sisters couldn’t sing hymns. Only in a few places could the brothers and sisters sing a few hymns. Tell me, since the brothers and sisters had no hymnbooks and no spiritual writings, what content could there be to the church life? Did these leaders preach to people about life entry? Did they preach about the principles of service? They did not preach about any of these things. God does not approve of them leading the church in this way. Later, when I was working in the church, the first thing I thought about was solving this problem. I printed and distributed a large number of Bibles and spiritual writings in the church so that the believers would have something to eat and drink. In this stage of work, the focus of church life in the Age of Kingdom is to eat and drink the words of Almighty God. The Bible is outdated and does not need to be explained, so it is only quoted occasionally when fellowshipping on God’s words. I arranged for the church to print the words of Almighty God so that God’s chosen people would all have God’s words to read, and so that they could all eat and drink God’s words, reflect on and know themselves, achieve true repentance, and enter into the truth reality. This is the path that those who believe in God should walk. Thus, God’s house printed a large number of books of God’s words, and these books of God’s words were all distributed free of charge, without God’s chosen people having to spend any money to buy them, not even a single cent. It was the same for God’s chosen people in all countries—all for free. How was this practice? (It was good, and it was in accordance with God’s intentions.) In addition, in God’s house, leaders and workers must fellowship on the truth reality when they hold gatherings and preach sermons, and they are not allowed to speak words and doctrines to show off. If anyone is found to be speaking words and doctrines, they are warned if it is a minor case, and pruned if it is serious. If they still do not repent, they are dismissed and not allowed to continue as a leader or worker. In the Age of Grace, being a pastor was for life, but in God’s house, that is not the case. God’s house has abolished the system of lifelong tenure. If you are a good leader, and if you have life entry and the truth reality, then you can continue to be a leader. If, after being a leader for one or two years, or two or three years, you do not have any truth reality at all, then you are not someone who pursues the truth, and you must be eliminated. Is this practice good? (Yes.) Is this the same as the practice in the Age of Grace? (No.) The practices of the Age of Kingdom are not the same as those of the Age of Grace in any way. These practices all constitute walking a new path, and they all constitute entering into the truth reality. Meaningless things and things unrelated to the truth are not done. Tell me, were the religious rituals of the Age of Grace, like the covering of one’s head, the breaking of bread, the washing of feet, and baptism, useful? (No.) These are all religious rituals and aren’t beneficial at all for life entry. No matter how you are baptized, wash feet, break bread, or drink wine as a believer in the Lord, you cannot exchange these things for the work of the Holy Spirit, much less can you be cleansed. These things have no meaning at all. These religious rituals are just practices that people developed based on God’s work in the Age of Grace. They may have had some meaning in the Age of Grace, but in the Age of Kingdom, God no longer works in this way, and these practices have become outdated. Therefore, after I accepted God’s commission, I abolished all of these religious rituals and focused on entering into reality in all things. I know that the work I do is entrusted to me by God, so I must act according to God’s intentions, God’s words, and God’s requirements. Wherever God’s words lead, I will cooperate. However God’s words lead us to walk, that is how we will walk and experience things. Everything must be based on God’s words. Even when I preach, I do not decide what I will preach based on my own will. Sometimes I also ponder, “What aspect should I preach on in this gathering?” I base my preaching on the problems that exist in the church. Sometimes I have considered and decided to preach on a certain practical problem, but when it comes time to speak, the Holy Spirit again provides enlightenment and guidance, and I do not preach on what I had originally planned, but on a new topic instead. You see, is this something people can determine? (No.) It is useless for you to have determined this. Everything must still be based on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Whatever the Holy Spirit enlightens you to do, that is what you should do. Therefore, as a leader or worker, you must learn to submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and not have your own personal plans. Even if you have considered and decided to do something, you must still submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In addition, you must be down-to-earth in your work, and you must do your work according to God’s intentions and requirements. If you discover that God’s chosen people are lacking in a certain aspect of the truth reality, you must point this out and explain it thoroughly. If you do not explain such things thoroughly and just go through the motions, God’s chosen people will not gain life entry, and they will not benefit or be helped from listening to you, and your work will be that of the Pharisees! Meaningless! You must achieve the result of having God’s chosen people truly understand the truth. In this way, your work will have achieved results. Focusing on real results in your work is what’s most important.

Tell me, what is the problem with people always misunderstanding, guarding against, and resisting God? It is that their corrupt dispositions have not been cleansed. To be precise, what corrupt disposition is this? (A deceitful disposition.) Yesterday, God watched the video from the church in Brazil and saw that the mental states of these people had greatly improved, and God was very happy. But this video was only sent to me after I kept asking the people below for it. If I hadn’t, they wouldn’t have told God anything about the situation of His chosen people, and they wouldn’t have told God even when they saw Him. They just think, “God, You just keep expressing the truth, just keep preaching to us. The more, the better.” They don’t think at all about what weighs on God’s heart, what God hopes to gain, or what God wants to see. They don’t think at all about how to satisfy God. Are these people who are considerate of God’s intentions? (No.) So why do they not consider God’s intentions? Why do they not understand God’s heart? Is it because they are foolish and ignorant? I say that it is because these people harbor improper intentions. Am I right in saying this? (Yes.) God wants to see the real situation of the churches in various countries; He wants to know what the stature and states of His chosen people in various countries are now, whether these people have the resolve to preach the gospel, the extent their life entry has reached, whether they have entered into the truth reality, whether they have experiential knowledge of God’s work, which countries’ God’s chosen people can know themselves and have entered into the truth reality, which people can preach the gospel and bear witness to God, and which people have true experiential testimonies. These are the things God wants to know the most, but for so long, no one has reported to God, and it is very difficult for God to hear any real information. It was not until yesterday, when God watched the video from the church in Brazil, that He learned a little about the situation of His chosen people there. Although their video did not talk about any experiential testimonies, and just contained scenes of brothers and sisters meeting and holding gatherings, God was very satisfied with this. But there are still many countries whose situations God has not yet seen. So why do the leaders and workers of these places not let God know about how things are going there? What is the problem here? These people only know to satisfy their own selfish desires, and they do not allow God to gain any comfort. Is this not somewhat selfish and despicable? (Yes.) They do not understand God’s heart at all. Tell me, what does God feel in His heart when He sees such people serving Him? What is God’s feeling? Will God approve of such people? (He will not.) God says that such people are truly ignorant. How can such people be worthy of doing the work of God’s house? How can people who do not even understand God’s intentions be worthy of serving God? Such people are not qualified to serve God. God wants to understand the situations His chosen people are in across all the various countries, but these people do not let God know about these things. They know good news but do not tell God. Tell me, are the intentions of these people good? (No.) Are they not harboring improper intentions? (They are.) They are isolating God. What they mean by their actions is, “God, we are the ones doing the church’s work. We will do it however we want, so You don’t need to interfere. You don’t need to know the extent to which we have done it or what results we have achieved. You just express the truth to us, just keep preaching to us. That is enough. You don’t need to worry about anything else.” What kind of disposition is this? (It is a crooked, deceitful, selfish, and despicable disposition.) Tell me, what kind of people should those who are used and perfected by God be? Does God perfect crooked and deceitful people? (No.) Does God perfect selfish and despicable people? (No.) Does God perfect people who do not understand His heart at all and are not considerate of His intentions? (No.) So what kind of character must a person possess to be used and perfected by God? At the very least, they must have conscience and reason, and be honest and upright. Do you understand this? (Yes.)

So why does God have people pursue the truth? He does so to resolve their corrupt dispositions so that they can live out the likeness of a true human. Then what is the standard of a true human? It is that their conscience and reason are restored, they can love the truth in their hearts, they become honest and upright, and they come to live in the light. Such people are perfected by God. If your humanity is not up to standard, and you do not even possess conscience, reason, honesty, and uprightness, then you are not destined to be perfected or used by God. Is this not the case? (It is.) Those who can be used by God must be people who can practice the truth, and those who can practice the truth must possess conscience, reason, and a God-fearing heart. That is to say, a person must have humanity, conscience, and reason, and also understand some truths and develop a heart that somewhat fears God to be able to practice some truths. Let’s take an example. In the Age of Law, who among those who believed in God practiced the truth? Who bore resounding testimony for God? (Abraham and Job.) Did they listen to many sermons? (No.) At most, they had read the Pentateuch and the books of the prophets in the Old Testament. They had not heard the many truths expressed by God in the last days. So how was it that they were able to bear such resounding testimonies? The main reason is that their characters were truly good. We cannot compare with them. Let’s talk about Abraham. Abraham’s wealth was great, and it can be said that it was no less than Job’s, but tell me, how many wives did Abraham have? Only one—Sarah. He did not indulge in and gratify the flesh because of his wealth. From this you can see Abraham’s character. His character was truly good! In addition, he did not covet the wealth of others at all. Even when he helped people and they offered him things in gratitude, he refused them. Abraham honored God as great in his heart and he had a God-fearing heart. You see, although people in the Age of Law did not understand the truth, just by having humanity and a God-fearing heart, they could still bear resounding testimony. In the context of that special age, only Abraham and Job possessed such character, and of course, what was indispensable was that they both had God-fearing hearts, so they both bore testimony for God. Abraham was able to offer up Isaac, and when Job encountered great trials, he was still able to praise and bless God. These are the most beautiful and resounding testimonies. So why was there no one in the Age of Grace who could bear testimony like Abraham or Job? This is because by the Age of Grace, people had become more severely corrupted by Satan, and there were few whose character could surpass that of Abraham and Job. In the Age of Grace, Peter was the best person. Among the twelve apostles, Peter’s character was the best. He was the most upright, the most honest, and had the greatest sense of justice. So, after being saved and perfected by God, Peter achieved the ultimate love for God and submission unto death. Peter had not heard the sermons God preaches today, nor did he understand these truths, but because of his honest and upright humanity, and because of his true submission to and love for God, he bore the resounding testimony of being crucified upside down. The character of people in the last days is far inferior to those of Abraham and Job, and also inferior to that of Peter. So, if people in the last days want to gain God’s approval, they must rely on understanding more truths and undergo hundreds of trials and refinements from God to develop a God-fearing heart. If they only understand the truth but do not experience trials and refinements, will that do? No. Without experiencing all kinds of trials, a person cannot develop a God-fearing heart. If you do not have a God-fearing heart and only understand the truth, you cannot bear resounding testimony. You see, neither Job nor Abraham understood many truths, but because they feared God and shunned evil, they bore resounding testimonies. Therefore, a God-fearing heart is absolutely crucial! Although their testimonies had some flaws—they did not see through to the matter of spiritual warfare, and there were many truth principles that they didn’t understand—they didn’t violate the truth even though they did not understand it. This is because their conscience and reason were truly good, and because they were without despicable intentions. Therefore, the testimonies of Abraham and Job were irreproachable, and no one could find fault with them. How good are such people! Where can you find such people today? Such people can’t be found. Our humanity today is far inferior to theirs. So, if we want to stand firm in our testimony, we must rely on understanding more truths, and we must also experience all kinds of trials and refinements so that our corrupt dispositions can be cleansed, so that we can live out some righteousness, and so that we can possess a heart that somewhat fears God and stand firm in our testimony for God. Therefore, God’s work of saving people in the last days is particularly difficult. God not only expresses the truth, but also orchestrates all kinds of people, events, things, and environments to try, refine, and cleanse people. How much thought and heart’s blood this must take! God has so much to worry about! We often hear the phrase “God’s painstaking intentions.” So where can God’s painstaking intentions be seen? They can be seen in the work God does and the heart’s blood He pays to save people. How painstaking God’s intentions are! So, now, if we do not know to comfort God’s heart or be considerate of His intentions in our work, we are lacking conscience and reason, and harboring improper intentions. Is this not the case? (It is.)
