How to Pursue and Gain the Truth (9)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – September 1, 2025 (Part Two)

You must remember what I have fellowshipped today! How the words “but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life” will be fulfilled in you, and the way in which you should practice in order to have your name written in the book of life, are absolutely crucial matters and of the utmost importance. All who believe in God hope to enter the kingdom of heaven, but is the path you are walking the right one? Are you walking the path to entering the kingdom of heaven? If the path you are walking is not the right one, you will not be able to enter the kingdom of heaven. Then you must quickly repent and correct the wrong path you are walking. Otherwise, if you keep walking the wrong path, you will ruin your chance of being saved. Wouldn’t that be foolish? Therefore, in believing in God, you absolutely must not walk the wrong path. If people want to avoid walking the wrong path, they must focus on pursuing the truth. They must cherish and treasure the truth, and hold on to it until they can practice and live it out. If you do not treasure the truth, you are never interested in the truth, and your heart does not yearn for the truth, then you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Your attitude toward the truth can determine your life or your death, and whether you can enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, people must treat matters involving the truth seriously. When such matters befall you, God is testing you. So what is God testing you on? He is testing whether you can practice the truth when these matters befall you. If, every time you should practice the truth, forsake things, or submit to God, you do not practice the truth, forsake things, or submit to God, what does God feel in His heart? God will be deeply disappointed in you. He will say, “Did you not say you understood the truth? So why did you not practice the truth when this matter befell you? Why did you not uphold the truth principles? You said you understood the truth and were willing to preach the gospel. Why then, when you came into contact with this suitable potential gospel recipient, did you not preach the gospel to them? You said you understood the truth, but when your relatives and friends drew you in, tempting you to covet worldly things, why did you not have discernment of them and reject them? Why were you still able to compromise and follow them?” If you never practice the truth, God will not be satisfied with you. Only when God sees that you put the truth into practice once you understand it, can His heart be comforted. When that happens, God says that you are to be saved. Then, the Holy Spirit will often work on you, guiding you to understand and gain the truth. Have you experienced these things? If people want to spend every moment of their lives before God, they must experience these things, undergo God’s scrutiny, and appreciate God’s intentions. They must ponder how to do things to satisfy God, how to do things to submit to God, and how to do things to love God. You must always ponder these things. The more you ponder, the closer your heart will be to God, and the more you ponder, the more you will be able to understand God’s intentions and God’s requirements for people. If your heart always ponders these things, you will be able to understand the truth and the work God does on you. In this way, your relationship with God will become more and more normal, and you will be moved, enlightened, and illuminated by the Holy Spirit more often. God will have you experience all sorts of people, events, and things to understand more truths. When your stature has grown, God will also have you experience all sorts of trials to cleanse your corrupt dispositions. Thus, you will have embarked on the path of being perfected. Tell me, when Job encountered trials, was God not perfecting his faith? (He was.) So how do people who do not understand the truth see this matter? How did Job’s three friends see it? (They thought Job had offended God and that he was being punished by God.) When those three friends saw what had befallen Job, they mocked him. They said, “Aren’t you always going on about fearing God and shunning evil? Aren’t you always going on about accepting God’s scrutiny? So why have such things befallen you now? This isn’t God blessing you. This is because you’ve sinned and offended God. This is a curse that has befallen you.” Tell me, were Job’s three friends nonbelievers? (They were.) Wrong. Job’s three friends were all spiritual people who believed in God. In the Age of Law, ordinary believers were not up to speaking the words they spoke. The words they spoke were on a higher level than those that most people spoke. They had some insight, and they also had certain knowledge of God’s work. If we had not accepted Almighty God, no matter how many years we believed in the religious world, our knowledge would never surpass that of Job’s friends. Only now that we have accepted Almighty God and come to understand more truths, has our knowledge surpassed theirs. It can be said that in their era, besides Job, they knew God best, which was why Job could be friends with them. Think about it: Job feared God and shunned evil. Because his children indulged in the pleasures of the flesh, even his relationship with them was not close. So how could he be friends with nonbelievers? Job would not have befriended muddleheaded people who had no knowledge of God at all. So if Job’s three friends were so insightful and still saw Job as they did, and they still thought that what had befallen Job had come about because he had offended God, what does this show? There are many times when God’s actions are unimaginable, unfathomable, and not in line with people’s notions. At this point, some people may ask, “So what was God’s intention in these trials that befell Job?” God’s intention was to perfect Job. But is this kind of trial something that will befall everyone? I will tell you the truth: If you are not of a certain stature, God will not give you this kind of trial, because you are too liable to misunderstand and judge God. If you are not up to this kind of trial, God will not give it to you. Job’s three friends were not up to Job’s trial, so God did not give it to them. At that time, only Job had a certain stature, so God had him undergo that trial, and in the end, Job stood firm in his testimony. He said, “Jehovah gave, and Jehovah has taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah” (Job 1:21). In fact, at that time, Job must have said other things as well, definitely not just this one sentence, but only this one sentence was recorded in the Bible. However, this one sentence is enough; it is enough to prove that Job stood firm in his testimony. Tell me, can the trials that God uses to perfect people be on the same level as ordinary trials? (No.) They are not on the same level. The trials that God uses to perfect people are something that ordinary people cannot endure. So God does not easily give people this kind of trial; God works according to people’s stature. I tell you, even I work according to people’s stature. You see, when I speak to Chinese brothers and sisters, I am very direct, especially with leaders and workers. Sometimes I deliberately choose some heart-piercing and harsh words to say, and I am not afraid of them being hurt. But can I speak to God’s chosen people from other countries in this way? I do not speak this way. I have to choose some more courteous words, words that are not likely to cause people to have notions when they hear them. Why do I do this? Because the Chinese brothers and sisters have some stature, and they have been around me for a long time. No matter how severely I speak to them, they can understand and accept it; they know that these words of mine are beneficial to them. But the stature of God’s chosen people from other countries is still very small, and they have not been around me. If I work this way with them, they will not understand, and some of them will be prone to developing notions. So when I speak to them, I have to be a bit wise. You see, isn’t my way of treating people different? (It is.) So why is it different? Isn’t it because people’s stature is different? I treat people differently according to their stature when I do my work, and when God gives people trials He does so in even greater accordance with their stature. How can the trials God gives to ordinary people be the same as the trials He gives to those He wants to perfect? If God gave the trials for those He wants to perfect to ordinary people, could they understand? (No.) If they could not understand, would they not misunderstand and judge God? (They would.) Therefore, the Holy Spirit’s work and perfecting people is all based on people’s stature. The work the Holy Spirit does and the environments He sets up for people are all things that people can endure. If your stature has not reached that level, and you would not be able to endure an environment God sets up, God will not set up that kind of environment for you.

In the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus spoke some words before He was to be crucified, which can be considered His final words to His disciples. He said: “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth(John 16:12–13). What does “cannot bear them” mean here? It means that people’s stature was too small. If God had told people all the truths too early, could they have comprehended them? They could not have comprehended them, so they could not have endured them. And what would be the consequence of not being able to endure them? People would be prone to developing notions and misunderstanding God, and may even judge God. Because people all have corrupt dispositions, when you speak to them, you must pay attention to your attitude and treat them with a loving heart. This aligns with their notions, and only then can they be obedient and submissive. If your words are too direct and too severe, they cannot endure them and will judge you. Therefore, what the Lord Jesus meant by “you cannot bear them now” was to tell people, “Your stature is still small now, so there are some things I cannot say to you. If I did, you would not understand and would develop notions, and would judge and condemn, and you might even forsake Me and stop believing.” As a result, there were many things the Lord Jesus did not say at that time. So what are these things that the Lord Jesus said people could not bear at that time? At that time, people could not bear the words of God judging and chastising people, and exposing their nature essence. If, at that time, the Lord Jesus had said, “People like you still hope to enter the kingdom of heaven? Have you not clearly seen to what extent you have been corrupted by Satan? Do you not know what kind of person you are? You are the descendants of the devil Satan. What qualifications do you have to enter the kingdom of heaven?” could people in the Age of Grace have borne these words? (No.) If the Lord Jesus had said, “You are now full of corrupt dispositions. In the future, I will do another stage of work to judge, chastise, try, and refine you. At that time, you might all develop notions about Me, and you will all be able to rebel against and resist Me, and in the end, you will be eliminated,” could they have endured these words? (No.) If the Lord Jesus had said, “You are all service-doers. After you have finished your service, just go back to the bottomless pit obediently,” could they have endured it? (No.) Therefore, these were all words that people in the Age of Grace at that time could not bear. Now, in the Age of Kingdom, Almighty God has spoken these words. Did God say these words to the religious people? (No.) God said them to this group of people who have accepted Almighty God. God has taken the words that people in the Age of Grace could not bear into the last days, and spoken them to us, this group of people. By experiencing the judgment and exposure of God’s words, we have all been conquered by God, and we have all prostrated ourselves before God, admitting that we are too deeply corrupted, admitting that we are full of corrupt dispositions, and even admitting that we are devils and Satans, resistant to God, and not worthy to live before God. This is being able to bear these words of God. We can bear these words of God because we can accept and submit to God’s judgment and chastisement. But some people cannot accept God’s judgment and chastisement. If you read to them the words of God judging people, they will refuse to accept them. You see, when we preach the gospel, as soon as we testify that the work Almighty God does is the work of judgment and chastisement in the last days, some people in the religious world develop notions and do not accept it. Why do they not accept it? It is because they cannot bear or endure the words of God’s judgment and chastisement. There are also many people who, after hearing the testimony, say, “What you have talked about is all correct. We acknowledge that the words of Almighty God are the truth, the utterances of the Holy Spirit, and we are willing to accept Almighty God.” But afterward, after hearing a few words of negative propaganda, they immediately flee and withdraw. Tell me, are these not people without blessings? (They are.) These are people without blessings. They could not endure it after hearing a few words of negative propaganda; they chose to give up all these truths spoken by Almighty God and only believe the negative propaganda. Such people have lost the opportunity to be saved. But some people say, “No matter what negative propaganda there is, these truths expressed by Almighty God are precious. Only these truths can save me. To gain these truths, I must follow Almighty God, and I must accept and submit to the truth.” Is this not true faith? (It is.) The Lord Jesus said to Thomas: “Because you have seen Me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed(John 20:29). What do these words mean? (It means people should have faith in God.) So, where is faith manifested? (In being able to believe upon hearing God’s words, rather than waiting to see God before believing.) This is where faith is manifested. I tell you, from Almighty God’s outward appearance, you cannot see any hint of God’s divine aura. Almighty God is just an ordinary person, but the truths He expresses can save people. These truths are so precious; if people do not accept these truths, they are certain to perish. If a person sees through to the preciousness of the truth, they will say, “These truths expressed by Almighty God are the basis for my belief in Him. I don’t look at how normal His humanity is, nor do I look at how much negative propaganda there is. I believe in and follow Him based on these truths He has expressed. I follow Him to gain these truths, and for no other reason.” Is this not true faith? (It is.) Without faith, one simply cannot achieve such practice—it’s absolutely impossible. In the religious world, some pastors say, “The movies, experiential testimony videos, hymns, and dances of The Church of Almighty God are indeed better than those of any denomination in the religious world; they are on the highest level. But Almighty God is just an ordinary person; He is definitely not the Lord Jesus. We cannot believe, absolutely cannot believe.” You see, religious pastors can say such things. Where are they wrong? (They do not know the essence of the incarnate God, they do not know what the truth is, and they only look at the normal humanity of Christ, without seeing the divinity of Christ.) If anyone is able to see through this matter, that is precious. Brothers and sisters from other countries, who can speak on this? (This person can say such things because they do not know what incarnation is at all, and much less do they know what the essence of incarnation is. Therefore, they cannot recognize that Almighty God is the incarnate God. The incarnation is God putting on an ordinary flesh. The Lord Jesus two thousand years ago was an ordinary flesh, and now Almighty God is also an ordinary flesh. But the flesh is just an outer garment for God. We cannot conclude that He is not God just because His flesh appears too ordinary. No matter how ordinary or normal His flesh is, as long as He has the essence of God, it is the flesh that God has become incarnate in. Almighty God began His work in 1991 in China, a country that persecutes religious beliefs. Not only has He overcome all persecution and suffering to gradually express all truths, but He has also made a group of overcomers. Now, God’s chosen people have also borne all kinds of experiential testimonies, which are the best and most true testimonies. Today, the gospel of the last days of Almighty God has also spread to all countries in the world, and many people from all countries and all places have accepted Almighty God. This is also a very powerful testimony. From this, we can see that if it is God’s work, it can overcome all suppression and persecution, and if it is God’s work, it will surely be spread to all countries in the world. No one can stop it. If it were the work of an ordinary person, it would be impossible to achieve such an effect no matter what. But religious people cannot see that these truths expressed by Almighty God are from God, that they are the utterances and words of the Holy Spirit. They also cannot see that Almighty God expressing these truths is doing the work of judgment in the last days; much less can they see that the spreading of the kingdom gospel of Almighty God to all countries in the world is the appearance of the kingdom of Christ. The people of the religious world are too numb and dull-witted! They cannot see the fact that Almighty God has already triumphed over the evil forces of Satan and the great red dragon. They do not recognize at all that the work Almighty God does is God’s own work, so they do not acknowledge that Almighty God is the incarnate God, and they even condemn God’s flesh and God’s normal humanity.) That was well said. This is having knowledge of the essence of the incarnation. Tell me, where did the people of the religious world fail in welcoming the Lord? It is in not knowing the incarnate God. So what do they base their welcome of the Lord on? First, the Lord’s return must be by descending on a cloud; they must see the Lord descending on a cloud with their own eyes before they can believe. Second, the Lord’s return must be the spiritual body of the Lord Jesus appearing to man, and there must be nail marks on His hands. They must see that it is indeed the Lord Jesus who was crucified and resurrected from the dead before they can believe. The religious world bases their welcome of the Lord on these two points. They must see the Lord Jesus descending on a cloud and see the spiritual body of the Lord Jesus before they can acknowledge and accept the Lord Jesus’ return. If they cannot see the Lord Jesus descending on a cloud, cannot see the spiritual body of the Lord Jesus, and cannot see the nail marks on the Lord Jesus’ hands, they will absolutely not accept it. What mistake are they making by basing their welcome of the Lord on these things? This is not knowing the Lord at all. So when the religious pastors see that Almighty God is an ordinary person on the outside, they do not believe, and can say things like, “Almighty God is just an ordinary person, not God. We do not believe and will absolutely not investigate.” If they do not believe in the incarnate Almighty God, what do they believe in? They believe in a spiritual body, a spiritual body that can perform miracles and wonders. Only if God’s spiritual body appears to them can they believe. So is their belief not the same as that of Thomas? (It is.) These people in the religious world only see the aspect of the incarnation having normal humanity. Why can they not see that this flesh can express the truth and do such great work, even much greater work than the Lord Jesus did? This is the best evidence that this flesh has the divine essence. Religious people do not look at these things; they do not know the divine essence of Christ. They only see the aspect of Christ having normal humanity, and so deny the divinity of Christ. Is this not being blind and lacking knowledge of God? (It is.) This is being blind and lacking knowledge of God. The Pharisees of two thousand years ago were like this. They thought that if they did not see God’s spiritual body and only saw an ordinary, normal flesh, they absolutely could not believe. They held to a notion in their hearts: “The incarnation has normal humanity and absolutely cannot be God.” They vehemently denied Christ, so they missed the opportunity for God’s salvation. The Lord Jesus prophesied: “When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth(John 16:13). If believers in the Lord fail to welcome the Lord, and cannot accept all the truths expressed by the Lord upon His return, that is, they cannot accept the work of God incarnate leading people into all truth, then their belief in the Lord has failed, and their beautiful dream of entering the kingdom of heaven has been shattered. The people of the religious world cannot see this clearly; they are just eagerly waiting for the moment when the Lord publicly descends on a cloud. Now, the religious people see that the disasters are growing ever greater, and many prophecies in the Bible have been fulfilled; they think this all indicates that the Lord Jesus is about to publicly descend on a cloud. Tell me, are they not very excited? (They are.) They are very excited, “The Lord Jesus we have been eagerly waiting for is about to return! The time for us to be blessed is coming! We have hope of escaping the disasters! We can gain eternal life! We can enter the kingdom of heaven!” This is what they are all thinking in their hearts, but they have forgotten one thing: “but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life(Revelation 21:27). That is to say, only those whose names are written in the book of life can enter the kingdom of heaven. This is what God has determined. They have not welcomed God, who expresses the truth, and they have not entered into all these truths, so their names will not be recorded in the book of life. So what can they gain by welcoming the Lord’s public descent on a cloud? Can they really enter the kingdom of heaven? That is a daydream. The beautiful dream of the religious world is about to be shattered. Tell me, what does it mean when people see the Lord publicly descending on a cloud? It means that God’s work is about to end, that God is about to begin rewarding the good and punishing the evil, and that the great catastrophes that will destroy humankind are about to descend. Now, God’s work of saving people is about to end. After it ends, we will enter the great catastrophes of the last three and a half years, and these great catastrophes of three and a half years are to destroy humankind. In the future, the catastrophes will be even greater. Who knows, in the next year or two, the whole world may be different. Therefore, there is not much time left for God’s work of saving people. Now, people must seize the hour to pursue the truth and pursue life. People must be able to bear a resounding testimony for God. This is the most important and most crucial thing. Remember, pursuing the truth is a matter of great urgency!
