So how should people pursue the truth and gain life now? (They should focus on practicing the truth.) Is it enough to just forsake and expend oneself without pursuing the truth? (No.) After forsaking and expending oneself, what else must a person possess to be saved? In doing one’s duty, one must have principles and act according to God’s requirements. This is the truth reality that people should enter into. In addition, if there are areas of your service and your duty that violate the truth principles, should you accept being pruned? (Yes.) Pruning is what most reveals a person’s corrupt disposition, and it is also what can best resolve a person’s corrupt disposition. Therefore, if people want to gain life, they must accept and submit to pruning, and be able to reflect on and know themselves. They must also have a God-fearing heart, and not casually resist or condemn. If you judge and condemn, you will gain nothing. Every person, event, and thing that befalls a person is orchestrated and arranged by God. No matter what pruning you encounter, it is always initiated and orchestrated by God. No matter what trials and refinement you encounter, they are also initiated and orchestrated by God. No matter what disasters you encounter, they, even more so, are initiated and orchestrated by God. If you have this faith, you will be able to submit to God’s orchestrations and arrangements. This is a practical lesson; it is not a joke. You must absolutely not be muddleheaded. If you want to enter into the truth reality, you must know God’s sovereignty and submit to God’s orchestrations and arrangements. So is submitting to God not a crucial lesson? (It is.) Some people see submitting to God as very simple. They think, “If God personally prunes me, I guarantee I will submit. If a person prunes me, then I will have to see if their pruning is correct and appropriate. If their pruning is not appropriate, I cannot accept it.” What do you think of these words? Are they correct? (They are not. This is not true submission.) You see, this is lacking faith. Then some people say, “No matter how God treats me, I will submit unconditionally, without any complaints. But if anyone makes things difficult for me, I will have to think of some strategies and take some measures.” Is this statement correct? (No.) This relates to whether a person knows God’s work. If you do not know God’s work and always view things based on your own notions and imaginings, this is troublesome, and you will surely do many things that rebel against God, and you will surely never achieve true submission. Knowing God’s work involves many things. It is not just knowing from God’s words how God works to save people and how He cleanses their corruption, but also knowing how God prunes people, how He reveals people, and even how He tries and tempers people. God has a time for all these things. As a corrupt human being, no matter how God treats you or tempers you, it is His righteousness. Do you believe this statement? (Yes.) Tell me, should a person full of corrupt dispositions suffer the hardship of being tempered somewhat? (They should.) You could say that no matter how God treats corrupt mankind, it is never excessive. So when God disciplines and prunes you, is it love? (Yes.) When He curses, condemns, and punishes you, is it love? (Yes.) When He destroys you, is it love? Is it righteousness? (Yes.) God destroying you is also God’s righteousness. No matter how God treats us, it is never excessive. Is that not the case? (Yes.) You admit this doctrine now, but when something really befalls you, will you be able to submit? (When something befalls me, if I can seek the truth and understand God’s intentions, I will be able to submit.) Now, people must experience these things and come to know God’s work from them. If you do not know God’s work, it will be difficult for you to experience many things that do not align with your notions in the future, because not knowing God’s work is equivalent to not knowing God’s disposition. Then you will have no fear of God, and you will be prone to resisting God, and even to condemning and betraying Him. At that time, you will be revealed, and you will be completely eliminated. You see, in the religious world, many people also admit that the words expressed by Almighty God are all correct and are the truth. Why, then, are they still capable of condemning Almighty God for being a person? Most people cannot see through this matter. Because this fleshly body only expresses the truth and does not perform miracles and wonders, and does not have any hint of God’s divine aura on the outside, they cannot see the divine essence of Christ, and therefore they do not accept the Christ of the last days. But if Almighty God performed a few miracles and wonders, what would happen to the entire religious world? They would all accept Him. Is that not the case? (Yes.) If the entire religious world accepted Almighty God, what consequences would that bring? Would God win glory? (No.) Most people in the religious world hate the truth and resist God. If they accepted Almighty God, they would only disrupt and disturb God’s work. Therefore, in this stage of work, Almighty God does not perform any miracles or wonders at all; He will just keep on expressing the truth in normal humanity, until He has expressed all the truths that God’s chosen people should understand and has made them complete. The entire religious world has been blinded by the fact that the incarnate God has normal humanity. None of them can see that this Son of man who expresses the truth is the incarnate God. But regardless of whether they acknowledge or accept it, God has always been expressing the truth and doing the work He wants to do. When God has made a group of overcomers complete, and God’s chosen people in all countries have embarked on the right track of faith in God, God’s great work will be fully and completely accomplished. These are the results that will be achieved by God’s secret work in the flesh. These are God’s deeds, the wisdom of God’s work! Tell me, when one day the religious world sees Almighty God descending on a cloud and appearing to all mankind, only then acknowledging that Almighty God is God returned, will it be of any use? When God publicly appears to man, all peoples will wail, and the religious world will be completely condemned and eliminated. This fulfills the words the Lord Jesus spoke to Thomas: “Because you have seen Me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed” (John 20:29). What the Lord meant by these words was to tell people, “If you acknowledge that I am God, and can accept and submit to Me before you see My spiritual body, before you see Me descending on a cloud, while I am incarnate and only expressing the truth, while I am within normal, ordinary humanity, then you will be blessed.” Therefore, believing in the incarnate Almighty God of the last days means not seeing a single miracle or wonder, and not seeing a single supernatural thing. Now, people follow Almighty God because they have seen that these truths expressed by Almighty God are from God, and they have become certain that this is God’s work. These people’s belief in God is entirely based on faith; this is having true faith. If you only believe that the Lord Jesus is the Lord and Christ, but cannot accept the incarnate God of the last days, then your belief in God is just based on the records of the Bible. You only believe because the Lord Jesus performed many miracles and wonders, and because you read these records and enjoyed some of the work of the Holy Spirit. This does not mean you know the Lord, nor does it prove that you have true faith in the Lord. Remember! Believing only after seeing God’s spiritual body does not mean a person has faith, and the Lord does not approve of such people. The Lord approves even less of those who only believe after seeing God descending on a cloud. These people are disbelievers, just like Thomas; they are targets for condemnation and elimination by God. Only if people can accept and follow God when He is incarnate and appears to have no divinity and no hint of God’s divine aura, that is, before they see Him descending on a cloud, do they have true faith, and only this is what is most approved of by God.

Today, we are fellowshipping on the topic, “Only those whose names are written in the book of life are blessed.” Now, when people experience God’s judgment and chastisement, gain true experiences, and finally bear a resounding testimony for God, their names will be in the book of life. This is certain and beyond doubt, and no one can take away their blessings from God! Now, all those who keep writing experiential testimony articles have hope of receiving this blessing. The more they write, the deeper and richer their experiences become; the more they write, the more practical and true their experiences become; the more they write, the more their lives grow; and the more they write, the more they know God. In the end, such people will have gained the truth and life, and will be perfected. Their names will be in the book of life, and this blessing is something no one can take away. If they do not pursue the truth and cannot write any experiential testimonies, then even if they can forsake their work, marriage, and family and only expend themselves for God, does this mean that they have life? (No.) Or, if they have suffered much hardship and paid a great price in their belief in God, have been slandered and rejected by people, and have even been arrested by the CCP and imprisoned for many years, does this mean that they have life? (No.) So what shows that a person has life? Bearing testimony to a change in their life disposition after experiencing judgment and chastisement, and doing their duty with principles and achieving real results in it. The names of such people are recorded in the book of life. So what enables a person’s name to be recorded in the book of life? It is experiential testimony, a person bearing a resounding testimony for God in doing their duty. These testimonies can prove that they have life, and their names can be written in the book of life. If you have not yet borne any testimony, or you haven’t borne enough experiential testimony, then you must quickly pursue the truth, otherwise your name will not be in the book of life. Do you understand? (Yes.) How often do you write an article of experiential testimony at the moment? If a person can write one article of experiential testimony a month, that is best. But now, time is pretty tight for doing duty, and some people have not trained in writing articles and their writing abilities have not yet matured, so it may be a bit difficult to write one article of experiential testimony a month. In that case, you should at least write one every two or three months. If, after training for a period of time, you learn how to write and you also gain more, richer life experience, and you can then write one article a month, that would be great. There are some people who say they can write one article of experiential testimony every two or three days. This can only be achieved by people who have very rich experience; most people cannot achieve this. It is pretty good if most people are able to write one every two or three months. If you cannot write an article for a long time, then you do not have much life entry. I tell you, writing experiential testimony articles is so beneficial for people’s life entry! Experiential testimony articles can only be written when a person has true experiential knowledge. This requires people to pray frequently, to contemplate what true experiential testimony is, and also to often reflect on which aspects of their corrupt dispositions they have not yet known thoroughly, which aspects of the truth they have not yet practiced enough, and which aspects of their knowledge should be supplemented. You must always reflect on and know yourself in this way, and gradually, you will become able to write experiential testimony articles. If you do not reflect frequently, do not pray and seek, and never contemplate matters relating to life experience, then it will take a lot of effort for you to write experiential testimony articles. If you have no experiential knowledge in your heart, how can you write? This is like painting. You must have a clear and detailed picture in your heart before you can paint it. If you only have a vague framework, you will not be able to paint it. Writing experiential testimony articles is the same. People can only write them when they have practical experiential knowledge in their hearts. Without practical knowledge, people cannot write anything even if they rack their brains. How do people produce experiential knowledge in their hearts? This requires frequent prayer and regular contemplation of how to experience and practice when various things befall them. When you can reflect on the corrupt dispositions you have revealed in many matters, gain knowledge of the truth, have a path for practicing the truth, experience changes in your disposition, and achieve results in doing your duty—when you have these detailed experiences and practical understandings—you can write experiential testimony articles. If you have not experienced God’s work, have not sought the truth or still less reflected on yourself, and have no life entry at all, then how can you write experiential testimony articles? No matter how you ponder, you will have no knowledge to write about. Therefore, now, if you want your name to be recorded in the book of life, you must start by writing experiential testimony articles. When people attach weight to writing experiential testimonies, they will ponder in their hearts, “Why can’t I write experiential testimony articles? The experiential testimonies others write are quite good. I should look at how they experience. Why can’t I experience? I must also ponder. I will experience as they do, and maybe one day I will be able to write an article of experiential testimony.” So they put effort into this aspect of experiencing, and after experiencing for a period of time and achieving results, they can also write experiential testimony articles. As soon as a person writes an article of experiential testimony, they will focus on life entry, on practicing the truth and reflecting on themselves, on entering the truth reality, and on changing their disposition. Therefore, writing experiential testimony articles is the most effective way of promoting entry into the truth reality. Can we say this? (Yes.) All things are difficult at the beginning. It takes a lot of effort for most people to write their first article of experiential testimony; everyone’s first article has to go through a difficult birth. But after they have written one article, they find a bit of a path, and they breathe a sigh of relief, “I have finally written an article of experiential testimony. Although it took a lot of effort to write this article, I have gained a lot. I must continue and write a second one.” You see, once they have tasted a little sweetness, they are willing to continue training to write articles, and they begin to ponder while doing their duty, “What should I write for my second experiential testimony article? I must first have an experience before I can write it. So how should I experience?” It’s then time for them to prepare for their second experiential testimony article. After struggling to write their second experiential testimony article, they feel they have gotten the hang of it a bit more and they will prepare to write the third one. So is writing the third one much easier than writing the first and second? (Yes.) They have found a path for writing experiential testimony articles, they know which words are more practical, and writing further experiential testimony articles becomes as natural as a hen laying an egg. If they can focus on every aspect of experiencing, then they will have rich experiences, and writing experiential testimony articles will be as simple as writing a diary for them; they can write them at any time. Tell me, is writing experiential testimony articles beneficial for people’s entry into the truth reality? (Yes.) It is so beneficial; it promotes a person’s entry into the truth reality. The more you write experiential testimonies, the more your thoughts, ponderings, and contemplations will be related to life experiences; the more you worry over and put your heart into experiential testimony, and the more experiential testimonies you write, the more you will ponder in your heart how to experience God’s work; the more you write experiential testimonies, the more you will feel that you understand too few truths, and you will want to understand more truths and write more experiential testimonies. Then you will be able to focus on eating and drinking God’s words and on practicing the truth. Therefore, the more experiential testimony articles people write, the more they focus on pursuing the truth, and the more they focus on pursuing the truth, the richer their life experiences become, and they can write more testimony articles with greater ease. So, have such people entered the truth reality? (Yes.) How did they enter the truth reality? Writing experiential testimonies set them on the path of pursuing the truth, and then their life experiences gradually became more profound; by writing experiential testimonies, they became more and more thirsty for the truth, and more and more focused on practicing the truth; by writing experiential testimonies, they had more opportunities to get close to God, their relationship with God became closer, and they developed a heart of submission to God and a God-fearing heart. Therefore, writing testimony articles about your life experiences can enable you to be saved and perfected. When you have rich life experience, whether you are fellowshipping on the truth with people or talking about your life experiences, you will have a lot to say, and it will all be heartfelt and practical. So tell me, are the names of such people recorded in the book of life? (They are.) Those whose names are recorded in the book of life are the most blessed people. Why do I say they are the most blessed people? No one can take away the blessings God has bestowed upon them. Now, some people do not pursue the truth and are taken captive by Satan—they may be misled by religious pastors or by negative propaganda. The blessings of these people have been taken away, and they were eliminated for not pursuing the truth. Who can be blamed for this? They can only blame themselves for not pursuing the truth; they did not hold on to their blessings. Is that not the case? (It is.)
