Fellowship From the Brother Above – September 1, 2025 (Part Four)

You see, why is it that when faced with the same negative propaganda, some people stand firm while others withdraw? Why is it that when listening to the same sermons in the church, some people gain a lot and understand the truth, while others not only fail to understand the truth but also develop many notions? What is going on here? It is that people are different from each other. In the last days, God expresses the truth and does His work of judgment, which has revealed everyone. You see, those famous religious pastors and elders have been revealed. They are not people who love the truth; they are people who betray and are averse to the truth. These people have been condemned by God. Because God’s judgment in the last days is the judgment of the great white throne, as soon as God’s words are spoken, everyone is revealed. Those who do not accept the truth are all condemned, and those who are averse to and resist the truth are also condemned by God. They are all enemies of God and will be destroyed by the catastrophes. As for those who can accept the truth, God will let them live for a few more years and give them the opportunity to experience God’s work, to see if they are able to gain the truth in the future. If they cannot gain the truth, they will also be eliminated. This is the judgment of the great white throne. Tell me, is it a dangerous thing for people to constantly pursue fame, gain, and status while experiencing God’s work? (Yes.) Such people do not pursue the truth, and have a special affection for reputation and status instead. They will not give up their pursuit of status no matter what. So can the names of such people be recorded in the book of life? (No.) Now, there is not much time left for God’s work, and the great catastrophes are about to descend. Some people are still unable to forsake everything and expend themselves for God, and they live in their families and the flesh, busying themselves for the sake of their husbands (or wives) and children. What will be the final result of this? Woe will come upon these people, just as it is said in the Bible: “And woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!” (Matthew 24:19). Why is it said that woe will come upon these people? They are entangled by these matters of family and the flesh. They are blindly considerate of the flesh and are not willing to expend themselves for God. As a result, in this short period of time, they have squandered their opportunity to be saved. The time God works in the flesh is always very short. From the time the Lord Jesus officially began His work to His crucifixion, only three and a half years passed, and the work of redemption was completed in this time. Now, more than thirty years have passed since Almighty God began to utter words and speak, and God’s work is soon to end. If, during these thirty-plus years, you have been pursuing fame, gain, and status, fleshly enjoyment, or things unrelated to the truth, then you have missed your opportunity to be saved and perfected. Such people are without blessings, are they not? (They are.) Therefore, this period of more than thirty years is very precious. Many people have accepted and followed Almighty God since He began His work. If they can follow Him to the end and also pursue the truth, they can gain many truths. The people who have believed for more than thirty years are basically all Chinese, because God appeared and worked in China in the last days. God’s chosen people from China have been able to follow God and eat and drink the words He has expressed since God began His work. This gives them an advantage in gaining the truth. The Chinese proverb “a waterfront pavilion gets the moonlight first” is an apt way to describe this. God’s chosen people from other countries are one step behind. They basically only accepted God’s work in the last ten years of His work. Now, those among them who were first to accept God’s work have at most believed in God for only ten years. Some may have only believed for one or two years, or three to five years. But God’s chosen people from other countries are different from His chosen people from China. His chosen people from China have the poisons of the great red dragon in them. The great red dragon is the number one evil devil in this world. It has misled, corrupted, and disturbed the entire world, and it is the Chinese people who have been most severely corrupted by it. Therefore, the chosen people from China must go through a process of resolving the poisons of the great red dragon, which requires accepting God’s judgment, chastisement, and pruning over a long period of time. God’s chosen people from other countries do not have the poisons of the great red dragon in them; they only have satanic dispositions. This means they are spared the step of casting off the poisons of the great red dragon. As long as they can know their satanic dispositions, and can accept the truth, practice the truth, and enter into the truth reality, they can be saved. Therefore, if God’s chosen people from other countries only accept God’s work when the great catastrophes come, it may be too late for them; but if they accept it now, they still have a chance. Even if they can only experience it for one or two years, there is still some hope. As long as they can practice some truths and enter into some of the truth reality, they have hope of being saved. If they can experience it for eight or ten years and gain the truth, that is even better, and their hopes of being saved will be even greater. Now I see that some of the experiential testimonies of God’s chosen people from other countries are really good. Some brothers and sisters have encountered disasters in their families, and although they are in great pain, they do not complain about God, and they are still willing to do their duty without delaying the work. This is having true faith; this is experiential testimony. These people have only believed in God for three to five years and have already borne experiential testimonies. How fast their life entry is! This is a joyous thing! All who bear experiential testimony can stand firm in their testimony and persist in doing their duty, no matter what trials they encounter and no matter what they lose. The testimony borne by such people is almost the same as that of Job; they have the reality of submitting to God, and their names are recorded in the book of life. So can you stand firm in such testimony now? (Not yet.) Then you must pursue the truth diligently. I tell you, when the disasters grow more serious in the future, those who do not believe in God will all die. At that time, if your nonbelieving relatives and friends also die in the disasters, will you grow weak? Will it hinder you doing your duty? Will you complain about God? These are all things that reveal people. Now, these things are about to befall us. No person, of whatever kind, can survive if they do not believe in God and do not accept the truth. The number of nonbelievers who can survive will surely be limited. Only those whom God has specially arranged to render service for the next age can survive. But these people cannot resist God in their actions; this is the bottom line. Only if they do not cross this bottom line will God let them survive. Aside from them, all who resist God will be destroyed, and all will perish. So you must be prepared! If your relatives do not believe in God, they will die sooner or later. When the disasters get worse, no one who is destined to die can escape; death is their inescapable fate! If your relatives die in the disasters and you are still capable of complaining about God, then you will have lost your testimony. If you are also capable of denying and resisting God, then you will have no share in the book of life, and you will be completely eliminated. You must remember this! No matter who dies, do not complain about God, and do not be negative. You must still pray to God and submit to God. So how should you pray? You should pray with a God-fearing heart, with a heart of submission to God. No matter what God does, you must submit, so that God can see that your intentions are right, and see that you are seeking and submitting amidst the environment set up by Him. Only then will God approve of you. In fact, God lets all kinds of things come upon you in order to see what your reaction is, to see if you have the truth reality and if you are submissive. These things are revealed when things befall you; you couldn’t hide them even if you wanted to. You see, when no disaster has befallen people, they often say that God is love and that it is so good to believe in God. But one day, when a relative dies, they say that God is not righteous and complain about God. In this way, they lose their testimony. Do you understand? (Yes.) Some people often say, “I have forsaken and expended so much for God. God won’t let my relatives get sick or die for my sake.” What do you think of these words? (They lack reason.) Is this not the logic of Satan? What does you expending yourself for God have to do with others? Is it really the case that if you expend yourself for God, your parents, children, and all your relatives will be blessed along with you? On God’s part, it is not determined this way. Each person bears their own blessings, and this has nothing to do with others. If parents believe in God and expend themselves for God, they will be blessed. If their children do not believe and do not accept the truth, they will suffer woe. This is God’s righteousness. So why can you not see this matter clearly? Do you think it is still like the Age of Grace, where one person believed in the Lord and the whole family was blessed? Where is there such a thing now? In the Age of Kingdom, what God reveals is primarily a righteous disposition, and God treats everyone with a righteous disposition. Therefore, your expenditure has nothing to do with your children or parents, and it has nothing to do with any of your relatives. The only person who can be blessed through your expenditure for God is yourself; no one else has a share in this blessing. It may be the case that today you are blessed, and tomorrow your relatives die. How should you treat this matter? You must see such things clearly. Otherwise, when these things befall you, you will be negative, weak, and complain, and then you will suffer a loss! What does it mean to suffer a loss? In minor cases, it means receiving some punishment. In major cases, it means being eliminated and condemned by God. This is no small matter. You see, when Job encountered a trial, his wife said: “Do you still retain your integrity? Curse god, and die” (Job 2:9). This one sentence caused her to be directly punished and go to hell. This one sentence cost her her life. And how did Lot’s wife perish? The angel told her not to look back at the city of Sodom, but she did not believe and insisted on looking back, wanting to see if her house was on fire. As a result, as soon as she looked back, she turned into a pillar of salt and so perished. Therefore, I tell you, at critical moments, one word or one action can determine a person’s fate. You must absolutely not speak or act recklessly. In the future, when the great catastrophes come, nobody’s home will be a place of refuge, and the catastrophes will befall everyone. Perhaps you personally will achieve salvation and God will protect you from death, but your nonbelieving relatives may die in the catastrophes one day. You must see this matter clearly, and then pray earnestly and learn to submit to God. Otherwise, if you complain and grumble about God when that time comes, you will not be far from being eliminated. You have all seen the current global situation, right? Is the war between Russia and Ukraine not showing signs of escalating? If the war between Russia and Ukraine escalates and nuclear weapons start being used, then a huge number of people will die. In addition, great earthquakes and great plagues will appear, and volcanoes will erupt. When these catastrophes occur, it will not be just a few hundred or a few thousand people who die, but millions, or tens of millions. Therefore, before these catastrophes come, the most crucial thing is how we should pursue so as to gain the truth and life. Do not always think, “If I have money, I will take a spaceship to another planet and escape the great catastrophes that way!” That is your fantasy. You cannot survive on another planet; it is not a place God has ordained for people to live. If people want to be saved, there is only one path, which is to pursue the truth diligently, submit to God’s orchestrations and arrangements, and strive to bear a beautiful testimony for God. This beautiful testimony can determine your outcome. Without a good testimony, you cannot achieve salvation. You see, the trial that befell Job determined his outcome. God saw that Job had believed in God his whole life, and had always feared God and shunned evil, so He gave him a trial to reveal his stature and perfect his faith. Job held fast to his loyalty to God in the trial and bore a beautiful and resounding testimony for God before the people of the world. In the end, he received God’s approval and blessings. If Job had followed his wife’s words, and really abandoned God and stopped believing, would his outcome not have been to be eliminated by God? Therefore, the times that major events befall you are the times that determine your outcome and fate. You must have a God-fearing heart and cautiously make your own choices. This matter is absolutely crucial!

In the religious world, many people believe in the Lord their whole lives yet do not know God at all. Even though Almighty God has appeared to do His work and express the truth, very few people proactively seek, investigate, and accept God’s work. Very few people believe directly upon hearing God’s voice; they all believe only after seeking and investigating for a long time. Most people vehemently resist, condemn, and even blaspheme Almighty God. Their outcome has already been determined; in the end, they can only be cursed and punished by God. Therefore, people must be extremely careful and extremely cautious in how they treat the matter of the Lord’s return. Before you have seen clearly whether Almighty God is a human or God, you must absolutely not casually draw conclusions, and you must absolutely not speak words of condemnation. You must have a God-fearing heart; you must have some reason. You should say, “I cannot see it clearly, so I will seek. Even if I do not believe, I cannot condemn. Otherwise, if by any chance I condemn God, a great calamity will befall me.” Such a person has some reason. But the pastors and elders of the religious world are bold and reckless; they are capable of saying any words of condemnation and blasphemy. These people are the Pharisees of this age, and they will all be destroyed by God. You must remember, God will not save any of those who condemn and judge the appearance and work of Almighty God. God will not save any of those who have blasphemed Almighty God either. These people will all be destroyed. Something like this happened before. In mainland China, there was a religious leader who accepted Almighty God. But before he accepted God’s work, he had condemned and blasphemed Almighty God. He had also hindered believers from investigating the true way, even calling the police to arrest brothers and sisters who were preaching the gospel. Later, after many people preached the gospel to him, he discovered it was the true way and finally started to believe. At that time, I thought this person was quite eloquent and could preach, so I wanted to cultivate him. But after he had believed for several years, he had not made any progress at all, and the gifts he had before seemed to have disappeared. I realized in my heart, “He had previously judged and blasphemed God, and resisted God’s work, so the Holy Spirit does not work on him.” You see, although people who have blasphemed God can also believe in God, the Holy Spirit does not work on them. Is this not a troublesome matter? (It is.) The Holy Spirit does not work on him, which means that God will not save him; God has long since spurned him. It is useless for him to believe in God anymore. This fulfills the words of the Lord Jesus: “The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven to men” (Matthew 12:31). Therefore, even if those who have previously blasphemed Almighty God accept Him, it is hard to say whether they can be saved. There is another matter that is also quite strange. Some leaders and workers, after being arrested by the great red dragon, did not deny God’s name and were sentenced to ten or twenty years in prison. But when they came out of prison, they were like new believers and did not understand anything—why was this? They did not have any experiential knowledge at all. Tell me, what is going on here? There are also some people who have not been arrested by the great red dragon and have not been imprisoned; they have always been in the church, attending every gathering and listening to every sermon while also doing their duty. Despite this, even after believing for ten or twenty years they do not have any life experience, and do not have any knowledge of God’s work. Why is this? I will tell you one reason, which is that God scrutinizes the depths of the human heart. If your intentions in believing in God are not right, and you do not accept the truth or reflect on yourself, then God will not be gracious to you, the Holy Spirit will not work on you, and you will not gain the truth no matter how many years you believe. This fulfills words spoken by Jehovah God: “I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy” (Exodus 33:19). Have you seen this fact? You see, some people often train to write articles of experiential testimony. The more they write, the more life experiences they have; the more they experience, the more they understand the truth; and the more they experience, the more they know God. In the end, they become more and more able to practice the truth and more and more submissive to God. When their brothers and sisters see them, they feel it is strange, “Their caliber was average before. How is their life growth so fast now? How does the Holy Spirit work on them?” They themselves are also puzzled: “I don’t know how the Holy Spirit works either. I don’t have any obvious feeling, but anyway, I just feel more and more energized, and my heart is getting brighter and brighter. When it comes to doing my duty, the path is also becoming clearer and clearer, and my life is growing quickly, and I bear more and more testimony.” So tell me, are these not God’s deeds? The work of the Holy Spirit is so wondrous. Sometimes it makes you clearly feel God’s presence; sometimes, you really do not feel it, and you cannot explain the details clearly, but your life is constantly growing; you understand the truth more and more, understand God’s work more and more, get closer and closer to God, submit to God more and more, fear God more and more, and in the end, have a heart of love for God. This is what the Holy Spirit does. There are many things we humans cannot understand. This proves that God’s deeds are wondrous. God is willing to be gracious to whom He will be gracious, and is willing to show mercy on whom He will show mercy. If a person’s intentions are improper, it is not easy for them to gain the work of the Holy Spirit. They will not even have the secret work of the Holy Spirit, let alone the evident work of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, a person’s attitude toward God and toward the truth is extremely important. God scrutinizes the depths of the human heart. If your attitude is not good, the Holy Spirit will absolutely not work on you, and you will not grow at all no matter how many years you believe in God.
