173 Seven Thunders Come Forth From the Throne

Chorus

Seven thunders come forth from the throne,

resounding through the skies.

The universe is shaken,

heaven and earth are overturned.

Verse 1

The sound so forceful, none can escape,

none can hide from it.

Lightning flashes, thunder roars,

heaven and earth are transformed,

people on the verge of death,

then violent rain sweeps the world.

Thunder peals, lightning gleams,

men tremble with fear.

Verse 2

The sharp double-edged sword strikes down

the sons of rebellion.

Then, waves of wailing, some awaken

in terror from their slumbers.

They search their souls, rush to the throne,

cease their tricks and crimes.

It’s not too late for them,

for them to be awakened.

Chorus

Seven thunders come forth from the throne,

resounding through the skies.

The universe is shaken,

heaven and earth are overturned.

Seven thunders come forth from the throne,

resounding through the skies.

The universe is shaken,

heaven and earth are overturned.

Verse 3

God watches from His throne,

looking deep into hearts of man,

saving those who truly desire Him,

taking pity on them.

He’ll save into eternity those who love Him

above all else in their hearts,

those who understand His will

and follow to the end.

Pre-chorus

The judgment of the great white throne

is revealed to the masses,

announcing to all people

that judgment has commenced.

Chorus

Seven thunders come forth from the throne,

resounding through the skies.

The universe is shaken,

heaven and earth are overturned.

Seven thunders come forth from the throne,

resounding through the skies.

The universe is shaken,

heaven and earth are overturned.

Bridge

Surely all those whose words

are not from their heart,

who feel doubtful and uncertain,

who idle away their time,

who understand God’s wishes

but cannot put them in practice,

they will be judged.

As the seven thunders echo,

booming from the throne

to ends of the universe,

a large group will be saved

and submit before God’s throne.

Following this light of life,

man looks for means to survive.

They’re not able to help themselves

but come to God and worship.

Their mouths call out the name

of the almighty, true God.

Let those at the ends of the earth

see He is righteous,

see God is faithful,

He’s love and compassion,

He is majesty, raging fire,

then, merciless, merciless judgment.

Chorus

Seven thunders come forth from the throne,

resounding through the skies.

The universe is shaken,

heaven and earth are overturned.

Seven thunders come forth from the throne,

resounding through the skies.

The universe is shaken,

heaven and earth are overturned.

Outro

All men are convinced,

none will judge or resist God again.

Let it be known throughout the universe,

so every person knows

Almighty God is the one true God.

All nations and peoples submit

before God for eternity, before God for eternity.
