686 Only Those Who Attain God’s Salvation Are the Living

Verse 1

All those under the dark influence

live in death, possessed by Satan.

Without God’s saving and judging,

man can’t escape death’s grasp and live.

These dead cannot bear testimony

or be used by God, much less enter the kingdom.

God only wants the work and testimony of the living.

“The dead” oppose and rebel against God,

numb in spirit, unable to grasp His words,

no truth in practice, no loyalty to God.

They’re exploited, living under Satan.

Chorus

People wishing to become living beings,

to be approved and bear testimony to God

must submit to God’s judgment and be pruned by Him.

They’ll put all truths into practice,

and only then gain God’s salvation

and truly become living beings.

Verse 2

The living are saved by God.

They’ve been judged and chastised by Him,

willing to lay down their lives

and dedicate their whole lives to Him.

When the living bear witness to God,

Satan can then be shamed.

Only the living can spread God’s work.

They’re real people, after God’s heart.

Chorus

People wishing to become living beings,

to be approved and bear testimony to God

must submit to God’s judgment and be pruned by Him.

They’ll put all truths into practice,

and only then gain God’s salvation

and truly become living beings.

People wishing to become living beings,

to be approved and bear testimony to God

must submit to God’s judgment and be pruned by Him.

They’ll put all truths into practice,

and only then gain God’s salvation

and truly become living beings.

They’ll be living beings.
