309 Do You Have True Faith and Love for Christ?

Verse 1

You appear to be obedient to Christ,

but you neither have faith nor love for Him.

The one you believe is the vague God in your feelings;

the one you love is the God you yearn for day and night,

but whom you have never met.

Chorus

Faith means belief and trust; love means adoration,

admiration in your heart, and to never be apart.

But your faith in Him and your love of today’s Christ

fall far short of this, they fall far short of this.

Verse 2

Your faith is too small, your love for this Christ is nothing.

You don’t know His disposition or substance,

so how do you have faith in Him or love Him?

Where is the reality of your faith in Him?

Are you truly loving Him? Are you truly loving Him?

Chorus

Faith means belief and trust; love means adoration,

admiration in your heart, and to never be apart.

But your faith in Him and your love of today’s Christ

fall far short of this, they fall far short of this.

Outro

When it comes to faith, how do you have faith in Him?

When it comes to love, in what way do you love Him?
