Christian Experiential Testimonies, Ep. 879: Being Perfunctory in One's Duties Is Truly Dangerous
September 30, 2026
He was responsible for video editing in the church. When faced with a challenging video, he would be perfunctory and cut corners to save himself trouble. As a result, the work constantly needed to be redone, delaying the video uploads, for which he felt deep self-reproach. By reading God's words, he came to understand his perfunctory corrupt disposition and realized that every video he edited was an offering to God that should be completed with care. Afterward, his attitude toward his duty began to change somewhat.
