English Christian Song | "Man's Fate Is Controlled by the Hands of God"
October 23, 2026
I
The fate of man is controlled by the hands of God. You are incapable of controlling yourself. Even if man always rushes and busies himself on his own behalf, he remains incapable of controlling himself. If you could know your own prospects, if you could control your own fate, would you still be called a created being?
II
In short, regardless of how God works, all His work is for the sake of mankind. It's just like how the heavens and earth and all things were created by God to serve man: God made the moon, the sun, and the stars for man, He made the animals and plants for man, He made spring, summer, autumn, and winter for man, and so on—all these were made for the sake of man's existence.
III
And so, regardless of how God chastises and judges man, it is all for the sake of man's salvation. Even if He strips man of his fleshly hopes, it is still for the sake of purifying man, and the purification of man is done for the sake of man's existence. The destination of man is in the hands of the Creator, so how could man control himself?
