She worried her mom would be tortured and fail to stand firm in her testimony, or even be tortured to death and lose her chance at salvation. She developed notions and misunderstandings, thinking, "God is love, so why didn't He protect my mom? Why does He allow the CCP to persecute people who believe in Him?" How were her notions resolved later, and what are God's intentions in permitting the CCP to arrest and persecute believers?
