Having chosen to love God, I'd let Him take away whatever He wishes.
Despite feeling a bit sad, I give no word of complaint.
With corrupt disposition, man deserves judgment and chastisement.
God's word is the truth; I must not misconstrue His intentions.
I often self-reflect and find too much impurity;
if I do not pursue the truth, my disposition cannot be changed.
Though I've endured a lot of pain, it is an honor to enjoy God's love.
Through suffering, I learn submission. No heart is better than God's.

Being with God day and night, I recognize how lovable He is.
The exposure and judgment of His words
shows me the truth of my corruption.
Accepting God's scrutiny, I am revealed to be very rebellious.
I open my heart for fellowship, and gain a clear understanding of the truth.
I tremble and feel deep dread at the thought of offending God's disposition;
I warn myself not to rebel again and hurt His heart.
Though I choose to love God, I am adulterated with my own ideas.
I must strive to make progress and attain a spirit like Peter's.
No matter how God views my love,
my only wish is to satisfy Him.
Though I've endured a lot of pain, it is an honor to enjoy God's love.
