One day, she received a letter from the leader asking her to be the watering team leader and take charge of watering work in the entire district. She felt very conflicted. She thought about her cervical spondylosis, which had previously compressed a nerve and caused numbness on one side of her body. She worried that if the heavy workload left her overworked and her condition worsened, she wouldn't be able to do any duty at all and might lose her chance at salvation. So she declined the watering team leader duty. Through seeking the truth, she came to understand her problem and corrupt disposition, and gained clarity on the value and meaning of life, no longer constrained by illness.
