He was the watering team leader in the church. One time, he realized that he had forgotten to arrange gatherings for a few newcomers. Fearing that telling the truth would affect his image in the supervisor’s eyes, he started to lie and cover up the mistake. Although he clearly knew lying went against God’s intention, he lacked the courage to be open and honest. Through seeking the truth, he identified the root of his lying and found the path to practice the truth and become an honest person.
