1002 When God Returns to Zion

Intro

When all’s set, God returns to Zion.

This day will be honored by all men.

Verse 1

On the day God returns to Zion,

earthly things will be silent, at peace.

When He has returned to Zion,

all will restore their very first form.

He will begin the work of Zion.

All will go through His chastisement.

He will make all men see His glory,

see all His wisdom, bountifulness.

Pre-chorus 1

None dare pass judgment, for God completes all.

All people will see His whole honor.

They’ll experience His whole victory

as everything is revealed with Him.

Chorus

When God has returned to Zion,

He’ll commence His work in Zion,

punish the wicked, reward good.

He’ll bring into force His righteousness.

He will carry out His judgment.

He’ll use His words to fulfill everything.

Verse 2

This shows God’s power, authority.

No one will dare offend, obstruct God.

All’s public, who’d dare hide anything?

God is sure to show him no mercy!

God will severely punish such wretches.

Such scum must be removed from His sight.

God will rule them with an iron rod

and judge them with His authority.

Pre-chorus 2

God will do so with no mercy,

without sparing their feelings at all.

For God is without emotion;

He’s majestic, unoffendable.

Chorus

When God has returned to Zion,

He’ll commence His work in Zion,

punish the wicked, reward good.

He’ll bring into force His righteousness.

He will carry out His judgment.

He’ll use His words to fulfill everything.

Bridge

God is like a lion rather than lamb.

And no one dares to offend Him,

or He’ll punish with death without delay.

Such is His disposition.

Chorus

When God has returned to Zion,

He’ll commence His work in Zion,

punish the wicked, reward good.

He’ll bring into force His righteousness.

He will carry out His judgment.

He’ll use His words to fulfill everything.
