49 The Whole Earth Rejoices and Praises God

Verse 1

The one true God who administers

all things—Almighty God, Christ of last days!

This is the witness of the Holy Spirit.

He’s working to bear testimony everywhere.

So no one will have any doubt.

The triumphant King, Almighty God,

has prevailed over the world.

He’s overcome sin and accomplished redemption.

Praise the triumphant King of the universe.

Chorus

The whole earth shall rejoice!

Almighty God, worthy of praise!

Glory and power be to You,

the great King of the universe!

Verse 2

The one true God who administers

all things—Almighty God, Christ of last days!

This is the witness of the Holy Spirit.

He’s working to bear testimony everywhere.

He saves us, even though we are corrupt.

He makes us complete to carry out His will.

He reigns over the earth and takes it back from Satan

and chases Satan into the bottomless pit.

Chorus

The whole earth shall rejoice!

Almighty God, worthy of praise!

Glory and power be to You,

the great King of the universe!

Bridge

He is judging the world.

No one can escape from His hands.

He reigns as King forever.

Chorus

The whole earth shall rejoice!

Almighty God, worthy of praise!

Glory and power be to You,

the great King of the universe!

The whole earth shall rejoice!

Almighty God, worthy of praise!

Glory and power be to You,

the great King of the universe!
