392 People Should Believe in God With a God-fearing Heart

Verse 1

If people do not have a reverent heart,

if people do not have an obedient heart,

they will defy God and disturb His work.

They will be unable to work for God, for God.

Chorus

If you genuinely believe in God,

always carry Him within your heart,

a God-revering heart, a God-loving heart.

People should believe in God with a God-fearing heart.

Verse 2

Cautious should be those who believe.

All that they do should satisfy God’s will.

They should not be headstrong, doing as they please.

That does not befit saintly propriety, saintly propriety.

Chorus

If you genuinely believe in God,

always carry Him within your heart,

a God-revering heart, a God-loving heart.

People should believe in God with a God-fearing heart.

Bridge

If people believe in God

but don’t obey or revere Him,

and instead resist Him,

this is the greatest disgrace for a believer.

They must not run amok,

waving the flag of God

while swaggering and swindling.

This is the most rebellious kind of conduct.

Verse 3

Families live by their own rules,

and nations live by their laws too,

but even more so in the house of God.

Standards are even stricter with decrees to adhere to.

Verse 4

Though people are free to do as they wish,

God’s decrees cannot be altered at will.

God bears no offense, He puts people to death.

Do people really not know all of this, all of this?

Chorus

If you genuinely believe in God,

always carry Him within your heart,

a God-revering heart, a God-loving heart.

People should believe in God with a God-fearing heart.
