899 God’s Intention of Saving Man Will Not Change

Verse 1

Now man knows a bit of God’s dispositions,

of what God has and is, of the works that He does.

Yet most of their understandings are nothing

more than words on a page, theories in mind.

Chorus

God doesn’t want anyone to feel

abandoned or left out in the cold.

He wants to see a firm heart to follow the road

of knowing God and seeking truth.

Verse 2

What people lack is a true knowledge

and a view that come from real experience.

God tries various ways to awaken man’s heart,

but there’s still a long road before it’s revived.

Chorus

God doesn’t want anyone to feel

abandoned or left out in the cold.

He wants to see a firm heart to follow the road

of knowing God and seeking truth.

He wants everyone to march on,

carry no burden, take no misgiving.

Bridge

No matter how you’ve transgressed,

no matter how far you’ve gone astray,

don’t stop your pursuit of knowing God.

You should continue marching on.

God’s heart to save man will never change.

This is what’s most precious of God.

Chorus

God doesn’t want anyone to feel

abandoned or left out in the cold.

He wants to see a firm heart to follow the road

of knowing God and seeking truth.

He wants everyone to march on,

carry no burden, take no misgiving.
