Were it not for God’s judgment,

I would never love God,

I’d still live in the domain of Satan,

under its control, under its command.

I would never be able to be a real person,

for I could not satisfy God’s heart,

and I would never give my entirety to God.

Even if God does not bless me,

there is no peace or joy,

I feel a fire is burning within me,

no comfort inside, I still take delight.

For God’s chastisement and judgment

are always with me,

so I can see His righteous disposition.

Though His care and protection

have become ruthless judgment,

Without the care of God’s judgment,

will I be cleansed by God.

His harsh words, righteous disposition

let me in the light, blessed and kept by God.
