485 The Experience of God’s Work Is Inseparable From His Word

Chorus

No matter what stage you’ve arrived at,

you’re inseparable from truth, God’s word.

What you know of God’s disposition,

what you know of what God has and is,

they are all expressed in His words.

They are closely linked with the truth.

Verse 1

God’s disposition and what He has and is

are the truth, and truth is a real expression

of God’s disposition, what He has and is.

It makes what He has and is concrete.

Verse 2

It’s a clear statement of what He has and is.

It tells you what God likes and doesn’t like,

what He wants you to do and doesn’t permit,

who He despises, who He delights in.

Chorus

No matter what stage you’ve arrived at,

you’re inseparable from truth, God’s word.

What you know of God’s disposition,

what you know of what God has and is,

they are all expressed in His words.

They are closely linked with the truth.

Verse 3

Behind the truths that God expresses,

man can see His pleasure, anger, sorrow, joy;

man can also see His true essence.

This reveals His true disposition.

Verse 4

Aside from knowing God from His words,

what’s most important is understanding

and knowing God through your real life.

You can’t know Him without experience.

Bridge

Some may gain knowledge from God’s words,

their knowing is just theories and just words,

and there is a disparity,

a difference with what God is really like.

Chorus

No matter what stage you’ve arrived at,

you’re inseparable from truth, God’s word.

What you know of God’s disposition,

what you know of what God has and is,

they are all expressed in His words.

They are closely linked with the truth.
