929 Mankind Is Still the Same Mankind That God Created

Verse 1

Though man went through Satan’s oppression

and is no longer Adam and Eve,

resisting God in opposition

with knowledge, notions, imaginings,

full of corrupt disposition,

in God’s eyes he’s still the man that God made.

Verse 2

Mankind is ruled and arranged by God,

still living in the course that He provides.

In God’s eyes, corrupted man

is merely hungry, doused in grime,

with reaction a bit slow

and a memory that declines,

Pre-chorus 1

man has a slightly older age,

but his functions, instincts are unchanged.

This is the mankind God intends to save.

Chorus

Man has but to hear Creator’s call,

man has but to hear Creator’s voice,

he will stand up and he’ll rush to find

the origin of this sound.

Man has but to see Creator,

and he’ll become heedless of all else.

He’ll forsake all things, devote himself,

even laying down his life for God.

Verse 3

When the heart of mankind understands

the heartfelt words Creator says,

man will reject Satan

and he will come to the Creator’s side.

When man’s washed dirt from his body,

and he’s nourished by the Creator,

Pre-chorus 2

man’s memory then will be regained,

to Creator he’ll return again.

This is the mankind God intends to save.

Chorus

Man has but to hear Creator’s call,

man has but to hear Creator’s voice,

he will stand up and he’ll rush to find

the origin of this sound.

Man has but to see Creator,

and he’ll become heedless of all else.

He’ll forsake all things, devote himself,

even laying down his life for God.
