630 The Truth About God’s Work of Managing People

Chorus

You should know that God’s perfection,

God’s completion, God’s gaining of men

bring only swords and smiting upon their flesh,

and endless pain, burning, judgment,

chastisement and curses, and boundless trials.

This is the truth of God’s work of managing man.

Verse 1

But all these things are aimed at man’s flesh,

for the sake of God’s glory and witness,

and for His management.

This is because God’s work is

more than just for mankind’s sake,

but also for the whole plan,

and to fulfill God’s will when He created man.

Bridge

Thus, most of what man goes through

involves pain and trials of fire.

So man can’t have sweet moments

for which the flesh has yearned,

much less have happy moments in the flesh with God.

Chorus

You should know that God’s perfection,

God’s completion, God’s gaining of men

bring only swords and smiting upon their flesh,

and endless pain, burning, judgment,

chastisement and curses, and boundless trials.

This is the truth of God’s work of managing man.

Verse 2

The flesh is filthy and impure,

so human beings can only see God’s chastisement.

This is because God will reveal

His righteous disposition,

which has no regard for man’s will,

tolerates no offense, and loathes His enemies.

Chorus

You should know that God’s perfection,

God’s completion, God’s gaining of men

bring only swords and smiting upon their flesh,

and endless pain, burning, judgment,

chastisement and curses, and boundless trials.

This is the truth of God’s work of managing man.

Outro

God reveals His disposition in any way He must,

thus finishing the work of His 6,000-year war with Satan.

It’s the work of man’s salvation and the destruction of Satan.
