If you are one of God's chosen people, you must understand what God's greatest hope for you is—it is for you to pursue the truth and return before God, it is for you to perform your duty as a created being and attain salvation and survive. This is God's greatest hope for you. If you can pursue the truth, and come to fulfill the duty of a created being, this is what best satisfies His intentions.

If you are one of God's chosen people, what He entrusts to you is the duty you should perform, and this only relates to God's work and the work of the church. Anything aside from the work of the church and God's management has nothing to do with you. No matter what you do in the world, even if you believe it is good and want to do it, it has no value, no relation to God's management work, and God does not remember it.

Whether the things you do are commended by your contemporaries, or are passed down through the ages and become a timeless legacy, none of that is important. Regardless of how many people recognize your actions, it does not mean that these actions are approved of or remembered by God, or that they are meaningful or valuable. The opinions and evaluations of this world and this society do not represent God's evaluation of you. When it comes to careers, what people should understand is that they shouldn't waste their limited time and precious energy on anything meaningless, and that they should instead use their energy and time on the duty given to them by God, and on pursuing the truth and attaining salvation. This is what truly has value and meaning, and only if you live this way will your life be valuable and meaningful.
