After gaining faith in God, he pursued enthusiastically, believing that as long as he actively did his duty, he would be saved by God. But a sudden eye condition left him nearly blind. He became negative and weak, fearing he had become useless and could no longer do his duty. In his pain, he came before God to seek the truth and reflect on himself. Only then did he realize the mistaken path he had taken in his belief. He became willing to submit to God's orchestrations and arrangements, upholding his duty and bearing testimony in this trial.
