Due to declining health and memory loss with age, he lived in the negative emotion of distress and anxiety, fearing he could no longer do any duty, become useless, and lose the opportunity for salvation. Through reading God's words afterward, he found release in his heart, broke free from the constraints of old age, and found a way of practice.
