God’s use of you is more than

refining or having you suffer.

It lets you know life’s meaning and God’s deeds,

that serving God is not easy.

To experience God’s work is not just to

enjoy His grace but to suffer for loving Him.

Experience all sides: His grace and His chastisement,

His enlightenment and His judgment.

God’s servants should not

only know how to suffer for His sake,

but that their belief in Him

is so they will seek to love Him.

God has judged, chastised you.

His words have dealt with you, but also shined light on you.

When you want to run away, God’s hand tugs at you.

All is so you know man’s at God’s mercy.

You may think faith in God is about suffering,

working for Him, or for all things to go well,

but none of these should be the aim in your belief.

If they are, this is wrong, you’ll never be perfected.
