From an early age, Su Wen sets her sights on becoming a doctor, attracted by the prospect of high wages and the respect of her peers. After years of hard work, she finally realizes her dreams and becomes a doctor. Later, after accepting God’s last days' work, she begins performing her duty in the church as a leader. Due to her inability to let go of her clinic, she is often distracted in her duty and goes through the motions, which resulted in her work being ineffective and led to her dismissal. Upon reflection, she realizes that she has no loyalty to her duty and comes to see the damaging consequences of pursuing fame and gain. In the end, Su Wen sells her clinic and puts all her time into doing her duty.
