Due to the persecution by the CCP, she was separated from her father for fourteen long years. When they reunited, the sight of her father's gray hair and frail body filled her heart with sorrow. She longed to fulfill her filial piety before him, and to be with him so that he could spend his later years happy. However, as she was living in an atheist country with no religious freedom, if she stayed by her father's side, she would be unable to do her duty. She found herself in a dilemma. With it being impossible to be both filial to her father and loyal to God, what was she to choose?
