857 When Disaster Strikes

Chorus

All God’s mercy is bestowed

upon those who love Him and deny themselves.

And the punishment of the wicked

is proof of God’s wrath and righteousness.

Verse 1

When disaster strikes, those who fight God

will face famines, plagues, and will weep.

Those who follow Him but wicked

also face this fate, live in fear.

Only God’s loyal followers

will rejoice, applaud His power.

They will live in great contentment

and feel the greatest joy ever.

Pre-chorus

God treasures man’s good deeds and hates their evil deeds.

Chorus

All God’s mercy is bestowed

upon those who love Him and deny themselves.

And the punishment of the wicked

is proof of God’s wrath and righteousness.

Verse 2

Since God first began to lead man,

He’s wanted men of one mind with Him.

He does remember those who aren’t;

He holds them with loathing within.

He’s been waiting for a chance

to unleash His retribution,

which He’ll watch with great relish.

His day is come, there is no need for waiting.

Pre-chorus

God treasures man’s good deeds and hates their evil deeds.

Chorus

All God’s mercy is bestowed

upon those who love Him and deny themselves.

And the punishment of the wicked

is proof of God’s wrath and His righteousness.

All God’s mercy is bestowed

upon those who love Him and deny themselves.

And the punishment of the wicked

is proof of God’s wrath and His righteousness,

and His righteousness, and His righteousness,

and His righteousness, God’s wrath and righteousness.

All this is proof of His wrath and righteousness.
