172 God Has Been Working Up Till Now, Yet Why Do You Still Not Understand?

1

The true God works on earth,

shows Himself in the flesh,

to make man know Him,

that He may win man’s heart,

that He may win man’s love.

And yet, knowing nothing of this,

you stubbornly look for miracles.

Ah! How can you not see God’s will?

Coming with the wind and going with the rain,

who does He do it for?

Ah! God has been working up till now,

yet why do you still not understand?

How much love has God given you,

and still you are unaware!

2

You say you believe in God incarnate,

yet still you seek a vague God.

You imagine how God’s words are fulfilled,

you yearn to lay eyes on a lofty God.

But only when judged by God’s words

do you come to know the practical God.

Ah! Your past pursuit was so vague.

God utters His words and performs His work to save man.

Ah! God has been working up till now,

yet why do you still not understand?

If you do not know God’s work,

what use to talk of being perfected?

3

You’re forever making demands of God

with your notions, with no jot of obedience or love.

God’s work is so practical,

how could it conform to human fancy!

Clinging to your own notions

and making unreasonable demands—that will never do.

Ah! You mustn’t forget God’s love.

God’s heart and God’s will: try to understand them.

Ah! God has been working up till now,

yet why do you still not understand?

You mustn’t be heartless,

you should be considerate of God’s heart.

4

If you would love, then be sincere about loving;

it means nothing if you give up halfway.

Cheating yourself over what’s true and false,

you idly while the years and months away.

So many words God has spoken,

every single one to bring man to perfection.

Ah! Why do you not understand God’s heart?

Why do you not seek the truth but always disobey Him?

Ah! God has been working up till now,

yet why do you still not understand?

Seek to change your life as fast as you can,

and so bring solace to God’s heart.
