266 O God, My Heart Already Belongs to You

1

O God, Your words are all the truth.

The revelations of Your words

enable me to see myself clearly.

Although I used to shout out my love for You,

was dedicated to You,

and forsook things for You,

all was to gain the blessing and the crown.

I feel so remorseful in my heart,

and it is so contemptible

to make deals with You.

Your judgment and chastisement

are to purify me

and cast out the impurities in my faith.

O God! My heart belongs to You.

I now know Your righteous disposition.

Your kind words are engraved in my heart.

I want to love You forever.

2

O God, Your words are all the truth.

It is You who purifies

and saves me with Your words.

I undergo so much chastening and discipline,

so much pruning and dealing,

all because I am too stubborn and rebellious.

Although my heart is in extreme pain,

I come to experience how real Your love is.

Through being judged I learn to obey,

and I wish to fulfill my duty to repay Your love.

O God! My heart belongs to You.

Your righteousness is so real and lovable.

Your kind words are engraved in my heart.

I want to love You forever.

3

O God, Your words are all the truth.

Your words are the basis of my life.

Through persecution, hardships,

trials and refinement,

Your words are always with me.

I am left with good memories

of the years of hardship and pain,

Your loveliness remains always in my heart.

Your words have perfected my faith,

I shall never again be disheartened or dispirited.

O God! My heart belongs to You.

Only You are the most good, the most beautiful.

Your kind words are engraved in my heart.

I want to love You forever.
