On June 26, 2025, the People’s Court of Yinan County in Linyi City, Shandong Province, sentenced six Christians of The Church of Almighty God (CAG) to prison terms ranging from seven to nine years, along with heavy fines, on the charge of “using a cult organization to undermine the enforcement of the law.”
The sentences are as follows.
Lin Qing (female, 35): 9 years’ imprisonment; 40,000 RMB (about 5,500 USD) fine.
Yi Li (female, 59): 7 years and 6 months’ imprisonment; 30,000 RMB (about 4,100 USD) fine.
Fu Minhua (female, 59): 7 years and 6 months’ imprisonment; 30,000 RMB (about 4,100 USD) fine.
Zheng Rui (female, 61): 7 years’ imprisonment; 30,000 RMB (about 4,100 USD) fine.
He Lizhi (female, 58): 7 years’ imprisonment; 30,000 RMB (about 4,100 USD) fine.
Zhang Zhihui (female, 61): 7 years’ imprisonment, 30,000 RMB (about 4,100 USD) fine.
Previously, on April 3, 2025, the People’s Court of Yinan County sentenced Pan Ting (female, 43) and Ding Nan (female, 62) to 7 years 6 months’ imprisonment each. The amounts of their fines were not disclosed. They had been arrested on July 17, 2024, and were transferred to Shandong Women’s Prison on May 7, 2025, to begin serving their sentences.
