From September 6 to 13, 2025, the 9th Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF) was held in Toronto, Canada, attracting over 1,300 entries from 82 countries, 193 of which received awards. The film Meeting the Lord During the Catastrophes, produced by The Church of Almighty God, won three awards at the festival: "Best Faith-Based (Film – Drama)," "Best Editing," and "Best Movie Trailer." The film not only garnered acclaim from industry professionals, but some viewers also remarked that such a work could only have come from God's guidance.
