Italian Academic Conference: Asylum for Chinese Religious Refugees Focused
In recent years, religious persecution in China has become increasingly severe, forcing many believers to flee. Religious persecution in China and asylum for religious refugees have become topics of focus in several western countries. On October 26, 2019, a conference on “religious persecution and the right to asylum” was held in the City Hall of Milan, Italy. Over 100 people attended the conference, including Italian scholars, judges and lawyers, as well as Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG). The persecution of CAG and asylum for its refugees receives focused attention.
