Probin Boro was born in Assam, India. In 1996, he entered seminary to study theology, but found that theological theories couldn't resolve the confusions he had in his faith. Over more than 20 years of serving God, he watched his church gradually fall into desolation—pastors and elders were scheming against each other, and believers were chasing after worldly trends, but he was totally powerless to do anything about it. He kept seeking earnestly: Why was he unable to support the church despite understanding theology? Why were people still unable to break free from the bondage of sin after believing in the Lord for so many years? Right when he was lost in darkness and desperately looking for answers, he accepted an invitation on Facebook to join a gathering in 2019. This marked a turning point in his journey of faith.
