741 To Serve God You Should Give Him Your Heart

Verse 1

Because Jesus cared for God’s will

and made no plans for Himself,

He completed God’s commission, all mankind’s redemption.

Thirty-three years, He served God’s will,

so God placed the burden of man’s redemption on Him.

He was qualified to do it, and suffered much for God,

tempted by Satan but never disheartened.

God gave Him this task because He trusted Him,

and because God loved Him.

Chorus

You’ve just entered the right track of serving God,

so first give your heart, undivided.

Whether before God, or other people,

your heart should face God, loving Him like Jesus.

In this way, God will make you perfect,

so you become a servant after His own heart.

Verse 2

If you don’t give Him your heart,

care for God’s will like Jesus,

He can’t trust you and He will judge you.

Today, as you serve, you try to fool God,

but God will still take note of you.

No matter what, if you cheat God,

heartless judgment will come to you.

Chorus

You’ve just entered the right track of serving God,

so first give your heart, undivided.

Whether before God, or other people,

your heart should face God, loving Him like Jesus.

In this way, God will make you perfect,

so you become a servant after His own heart.

Bridge

If you wish to be perfected and serve in line with His will,

then you should change your old views of faith in God,

change the way you used to serve God,

so more of you is made perfect.

So God will not abandon you;

like Peter, you will be a pioneer among those who love God.

If you don’t repent, you’ll end up like Judas.

This should be known by all who believe.

Chorus

You’ve just entered the right track of serving God,

so first give your heart, undivided.

Whether before God, or other people,

your heart should face God, loving Him like Jesus.

In this way, God will make you perfect,

so you become a servant after His own heart.
