159 Suffering for the Sake of Righteousness

1 While following Christ, I have been persecuted by the CCP, encountering danger and hardship at every step, and constantly facing the risks of being arrested, imprisoned, and tortured. Nevertheless, my heart has long been well-prepared; even if I were martyred, I would have no regrets: I am fortunate to follow Christ during the last days; I am truly elevated by God. Having heard God’s voice and come to understand many truths, I am satisfied; being able to spread and testify to the gospel of God’s kingdom, I have not lived this life in vain. Almighty God, You are most lovable, and I shall follow and testify to You for all eternity! Though the path to the heavenly kingdom is perilous, tumultuous, and full of dangers and adversity, I still shall seek to love You. How can I become an overcomer if I cherish the flesh and am preoccupied with my own life?

2 In the very moment that I was arrested and imprisoned, I left in God’s hands the decision of whether I would live or die. They attacked me with instruments of torture that were like rabid animals. The torment was unbearable. God’s words enlightened and led me. To lose life for Him is to gain life. Amid trials and tribulations, I tasted of just how lovable God is, and my heart drew closer to Him. I saw the ugly visages of the CCP, this evil demon, and I utterly renounced the great red dragon and wholeheartedly devoted myself to bearing resounding testimony to God! Almighty God, You are most lovable, and I shall follow and testify to You for all eternity! No matter how long and arduous the dark night is, I will gladly submit to Your arrangements; to be able to shame Satan and bring You glory is worth any amount of suffering.

3 This is suffering persecution for the sake of righteousness, and it is a choice I do not regret! Having enjoyed so much of God’s love, I should devote my life to loving Him. I should undertake my mission and testify to Him. No matter how great the difficulty, I shall not retreat, and I will gladly endure my fill of suffering, all so that He will be satisfied. This is suffering persecution for the sake of righteousness, and it is a choice I do not regret! Having enjoyed so much of God’s love, I should devote my life to loving Him. The light of dawn has arrived, the great red dragon is destroyed by God, and I sing resounding praise to God’s righteousness. Christ’s kingdom has appeared.
