158 Who Is Considerate of God’s Heart?
Verse 1
The earth’s in darkness, the demons are very fierce.
God has appeared, worked, suffering pursuit and blame.
God expresses truth, yet is rejected by the age.
He has no pillow to rest, has suffered great shame.
Enemy forces of religion judge, slander Him.
Jesus’s misfortunes occur again today.
Not knowing God, they crucify Him once again.
They’re very cruel, wicked, worse than in Jesus’s day.
Chorus
God’s doing great work, yet none can understand Him.
God’s heart’s so sad; who can be considerate of His heart?
Mankind is so rebellious; the disaster will come.
God’s words will all be fulfilled, Satan abolished.
Verse 2
Though believers are many, those who know God are few.
We go everywhere, but giving witness is hard.
Bearing witness to God’s appearance brings mishap.
Driven from people’s homes; with knives, clubs they chase us.
Tears well up in our eyes, our hearts break from the sorrow.
The road of the cross is arduous, blood’s mixed with tears.
Idols abound, and evil servants harm others.
People believe God in name, yet follow false shepherds.
Chorus
God’s doing great work, yet none can understand Him.
God’s heart’s so sad; who can be considerate of His heart?
Mankind is so rebellious; the disaster will come.
God’s words will all be fulfilled, Satan abolished.
Bridge
So where are those who love God? Where are the seekers?
God calls, knocks on the door, but the door is shut tight.
God has given His blood, sweat, tears to save man.
He’s been working for years, spreading love to mankind.
Chorus
God’s doing great work, yet none can understand Him.
God’s heart’s so sad; who can be considerate of His heart?
Mankind is so rebellious; the disaster will come.
God’s words will all be fulfilled, Satan abolished.
