I

After I experience the judgment of Christ's words, my heart finally awakes.

I see how profound my corruption is, and that I truly am the spawn of Satan.

I only work and suffer so that others will esteem and idolize me.

I talk big to show off and compete with others for fame and gain.

I wholeheartedly pursue reputation and status,

and always want to be above others.

I reflect on my deeds and see how arrogant and stupid I am.

Without the exposure and judgment of God's words,

I would be incapable of knowing myself.

It is thanks to God's judgment that I have truly repented.

II

God's words are severe,

they pierce my heart and penetrate the depths of my soul.

Though I suffer pain, in my heart I understand that God's words are the truth.

God is supreme and honorable,

yet He is humble and does not assert Himself based on His status;

I'm worth less than dung, yet I still pursue status—I truly lack reason.

Seeing that God's essence is so good and beautiful, I loathe myself even more.

I feel extreme shame and fall down before God with the utmost remorse.

If I refuse again to accept the truth and submit to God,

then I don't deserve to be called human.

I just hope to fulfill the duty of a created being

with my feet planted firmly on the ground.

III

Experiencing the judgment of God's words,

I have come to understand many truths.

I see clearly that it's Satan's disposition

that leads me to sin and resist God.

If I do not accept God's judgment and cleansing,

I can only be eliminated in the end.

It is God's judgment and chastisement

that have stopped my evildoing footsteps.

God's judgment of man reveals His righteousness and love.

That I can accept the judgment of God's words truly is God's salvation.

To be able to follow God and read God's words

is the greatest blessing of my life.

Seeing that God saves man in such a practical way,

I thank Almighty God!
