From a young age, her family was poor and she was bullied by others. When she saw people with prestige and status she would be too afraid to speak. After believing in God, whenever she spread the gospel to those with prestige and status, she felt constrained, thinking how poor her family's conditions were, how she lacked knowledge and status, and was no match for people with high status. When she learned that a potential gospel recipient looked down on her because of her low status and standing and didn't want to see her, she felt distressed and wanted to withdraw. Later, through reading God's words, her viewpoint changed, and she was no longer constrained by status and standing when spreading the gospel.
