172 Living Up to Our Mission

1 We live on earth. In life and death, in weal and woe—no one is beyond God’s rule. Success and failure, mediocrity and affluence, joy and sorrow—all are empty. Christ of the last days utters words, bringing people the path of light in life. We eat and drink God’s words, understand the truth, and see how deep is mankind’s corruption. The revelations, judgment, and chastisement of God’s words are all meant to purify and save man. We’ve been through judgment and had our share of refinement, and our satanic dispositions have been cleansed. Practicing the truth, being honest people, living out a human likeness, our hearts are at peace. We enjoy God’s love, so we should requite it and spread His salvation of the last days. We are considerate of His will and we undertake our mission. God’s words lead us and we are loyal unto death. We cast all aside and offer up all of ourselves. We’re devoted to God and keep our mission forever in mind.

2 In China, the land of demons, there are no human rights. We suffer persecution for bearing witness to Christ. Arrested, imprisoned, brainwashed, tortured, utterly ravaged, we go through hardships and understand the truth, and clearly see the demons’ vile faces. We despise Satan, so despicable and cruel, and long in our hearts for Christ to take power. The road to the kingdom is rough and rugged. We rely on God’s word to walk steadily onward. We are ridiculed and slandered, rejected and shunned, but with God’s words, our resolve is strong. Full of faith, we spread the truth and fulfill the mission entrusted to us. The kingdom gospel extends throughout the universe; Christ’s kingdom is realized on earth. Hazards and tribulations are all in the past, the light of righteousness has dawned. We give praise and sing—Christ reigns on earth as King!
