January 24, 2026
For many years, the CCP has suppressed and persecuted The Church of Almighty God. To completely crush and wipe out the Church, in September 2020, the CCP secretly convened a conference to launch a national three-year "Total War" against the Church, making the suppression and persecution of the Church the top priority in its crackdown on religious belief. The Church's Christians, especially leaders at all levels and core members, were designated as key targets for arrest. During the "Total War," many waves of coordinated arrests were carried out around the country. 38,607 people were arrested; 17,160 of them were tortured or subjected to forced brainwashing; 6,115 were sentenced; and at least 46 Christians were persecuted to death. Countless others went missing, lost contact, or were forced to flee. This report will give an overview of the "Total War," exposing the CCP's bloody suppression of Christians during these three years.
