277 Those Who Provoke God’s Disposition Must Be Punished
I
God does not partake in the politics of man,
yet controls a country or nation’s destiny,
this world and the entire universe.
Man’s destiny and God’s plan are intimately connected.
No man, country or nation is exempt from God’s sovereignty.
If man wishes to know his destiny, he must come before God.
God shall cause those who follow Him
and worship Him to prosper,
bring decline and extinction
upon those who resist and reject Him.
II
Recall the scene in the Bible when God destroyed Sodom,
think of how Lot’s wife became a pillar of salt,
and how the people of Nineveh repented their sins
in sackcloth and ashes.
Recall what followed after the Jews crucified Jesus 2,000 years ago.
The Jews were expelled from Israel
and they fled to countries around the world.
Many were killed, the Jewish nation suffered
the unprecedented pain of their country’s destruction.
III
They had nailed God to the cross—
committed a heinous sin—
and provoked God’s disposition.
They were made to pay for what they did,
and to bear all the consequences of their actions,
bear all the consequences of their actions.
They condemned, rejected God,
so they had but one destiny:
to be punished by God.
This was the bitter consequence and disaster
their rulers brought upon their country and nation.
