In September 2020, to completely eliminate The Church of Almighty God, the CCP authorities launched a three-year "Total War." In Shandong Province, one of the regions where the persecution of Christians is most severe, at least 120 Christians in the city of Zibo were detained in a single day through a coordinated mass arrest by the CCP police in November 2020. They were interrogated under torture, subjected to forced ideological conversion, pressured to sign the "Three Statements" to abandon their faith, and they were brutally tortured or even sentenced to prison. Recently, we interviewed Liu Qing, a Christian who was recently released after serving her sentence. She was sentenced to five years in prison by the CCP for holding fast to her faith. She was only 24 years old at the time of her arrest and suffered ruthless persecution and inhuman abuse. In this program, through her recollections and account, we will learn about the tragic ordeal she endured for holding fast to her faith.
